Chapter 102.2 : Happy and Carla!!

"Damn it, give Everit back!" Gray's voice echoed angrily.

"If you want him, you'll have to defeat me," Racer responded, his confidence wavering.

Gray had already encountered one of the Oración Seis - Racer.

Racer, wearing a helmet, darted around Gray.

Yet Gray rose in a cool stance once more.

"Damn it, I'll make sure you stay down this time!" Racer gunned more motorcycles.

The motorcycle army surged toward Gray.

Gray summoned ice blocks to shield himself from one, then flipped onto one and rode it.

"Now I can keep up with you!" Gray infused his magic.

"Hmph, you think you're the only one?" Racer smirked, accelerating. "Then let's race to settle this!"

"There are no rules in this competition, so you need to be prepared!" Gray shouted as he followed on his bike.

"Natsu?!"

Lucy stopped abruptly and saw Natsu floating face down in the river ahead, his clothes tattered.

This sight shocked her. Could it be that Natsu was defeated?

Was he... killed?!

As Lucy contemplated this horrifying possibility, her heart trembled, and she rushed forward.

"Natsu!" Happy, following closely behind her, also exclaimed.

"Natsu!" Lucy helped Natsu up. Before she could check his condition, he suddenly raised his head and blew flames at her!

"Ding!" Suddenly, a bell rang.

"Lucy!" Happy and Carla looked ahead in shock.

Lucy vanished!

"Natsu, you killed Lucy!" Happy cried out in anguish.

"Huh? Yeah, and now it's your turn," Natsu replied with a wicked smile.

"No! You're not Natsu! Who are you?!" Happy suddenly realized and pulled Carla behind him.

"Of course, I'm Natsu. Happy, I'm the Fire Dragon Slayer Natsu." Natsu advanced towards Happy and Carla.

"Don't come any closer!" Happy shouted, his fear barely masking his determination.

Lucy was dead, not a single bone left!

Their enemy was closing in on them.

Happy had never felt so desperate!

He was terrified, but...

"Carla," Happy gritted his teeth, "I'll count to three. On three, we split and run!"

"Okay," Carla nodded.

"Run? You won't get away," Natsu smirked, drawing nearer.

"Three, two, one, run!" Happy quickly counted, and Carla turned and flew off. As she glanced back, she saw Happy being pursued, but there was no sign of him on the ground!

Instead, a loud cry echoed from behind her.

"Headbutt!"

Fearless, Happy charged towards Natsu.

Happy understood clearly: with both of them fleeing together, there was no hope of escape!

In his mind, memories of their recent adventures raced - just half a day ago.

Carla, you have to survive!

"Happy!" Carla's eyes widened. Could it be true that he was willing to sacrifice himself to save her life?!

"To die?"

Natsu's hand ignited in flames as he threw a punch.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!"

"Open, Sagittarius Gate, Sagittarius!" Lucy's voice suddenly called out, and an arrow flew straight towards Natsu!

*Boom!*

At the critical moment, Natsu exploded into a cloud of white smoke, and Gemini split apart to dodge the arrows.

"Thunderbolt." Gemini stepped back, transforming into Lucy.

"Who are you?" Lucy emerged cautiously from behind a tree, eyeing the figure before her.

Behind her followed Sagittarius and Leo.

Just as the crisis hit, it was Leo who emerged to save Lucy, and then Lucy summoned Sagittarius, who rescued Happy.

"Lucy, you're alright!" Happy rushed over, tears streaming. "I thought, I thought, woooooo..."

"I'm okay." Lucy was deeply moved, looking at Happy with newfound respect.

After all, Happy had swiftly accepted the loss of a comrade and was willing to risk his life to buy time for Carla to escape.

His bravery just now had been remarkable!

But Lucy gently said, "Happy, don't cry. Carla is watching us."

"Why?" Lucy was bewildered.

"Because," Gemini Lucy proclaimed proudly, "My orders cannot be defied!"

*Laughter.*

Suddenly, Sagittarius raised his bow and arrow, aiming directly at Lucy.

"Miss Lucy, quickly, move aside!" He clenched his teeth, struggling against it.

"Sagittarius, how can this be happening? Release your grip," Gemini Lucy urged.

Lucy was taken aback. From Eisenwald to Tower of Heaven, to Phantom Lord, to Ahanita Town, she was a seasoned wizard, especially under Everit's guidance. 

So when faced with an unfamiliar situation like this, she didn't shout or question. Instead, she swiftly dodged to the side.

*Laugh*

Sagittarius fired an arrow, but luckily Lucy managed to dodge it just in time.

"Return, Sagittarius and Leo!" Lucy swiftly recalled the two celestial spirits.

"You react quickly, little Lucy," a female voice came from across the river.

Soon after, Angel emerged, leaning heavily on a cane.

Not only was she using a crutch, but her hands and even her head were bandaged.

"You..." Lucy looked at the adversary before her, exclaiming, "You're in no shape to fight like this!"

"What's it to you!" Angel's defense was instantly shattered as she shouted.

That damn man had no mercy towards women at all!

She hadn't even participated in the battle!

Others like Cobra and Racer had attacked him, so it was understandable he would retaliate.

Then after that, the leader, Erigor, Hoteye, and Jellal were all so badly beaten because they attacked him.

But what did it have to do with Angel?!

Seeing the man's formidable fighting prowess, she had no intention of battling from the start. Even Gemini couldn't stand it, and she couldn't stand it even more!
