Fairy Tail: Chronicles of the Honored One

What if Satoru Gojo was born in the world of Earthland. I have had this idea for a while and now I'm finally putting that idea to life. The world of Magic and wonder, has an Enigma named Satoru Gojo. A wizard rumored among the people, to be the strongest wizard in the Kingdom of Fiore. And unknown to most, Satoru is on a journey to find his long lost big sister, who he had been separated with, in an incident that took his mother's life. Story Timeline: Start of the canon timeline- X784. Future chapters will delve into the past of new and important characters. Pairing Undecided but NO-HAREM. Fair Remainder: While this is still the story of Fairy Tail, you all loved. There are going to be several heavy AU elements, not exactly on the world and worldbuilding, but the characters. Like you might randomly see certain characters alive, that should have been dead in the canon, and I won't explain everything right from the get go. And as you can see, this is an OP MC, fanfic... I don't plan on wasting time, showing the same training montage for abilities that we are very familiar about, and for new ones, I'll make sure to do them justice. But Satoru himself won't have any other major abilities than the ones related to Spatial Magic and of the sort. Disclaimer: All properties and rights related to Jujutsu Kaisen and Fairy Tail, belong to Gege Akutami and Hiro Mashima respectively... This book is purely for the purpose of entertainment.

Chapter-1 The Strongest

X784, Fiore Kingdom.

The Snowy Mountains, West of Magnolia.

On a small peaceful town located on the base of these cold mountains, two townspeople were talking with each other.

Both of them were heavily dressed in winter clothing. And seemed to be waiting for someone, despite the slightly stormy weather.

The snow storm had obscured their vision. So, they were making sure not to wander off, far from the town.

"Hey, do you think that wizard will be okay?" One of the guys asked.

"Heh, you haven't seen him in action before, so you don't know. Don't worry, that wyvern is as good as dead." His friend replied.

"But still. It's a 'Wyvern', we're talking about here. People say that they are the closest relative to Dragons. Or, are you one of the people who believe dragons to be a complete myth."

"All myths come from some semblance of realities."

"Hey, what's that glow?" The guy pointed towards the direction of the mountains, not that they could see them clearly in this storm.

But a bright orange light was prominent, even in the blinding storm.

His friend was wide eyed and suddenly pushed him down as he screamed, "Get Down and Cover Your Head!!!"

As soon as they went down on the snowy ground, a big shockwave of wind and magic ripped through the storm.

"WOOSH!" The storm and its corresponding clouds were scattered revealing the blue sky and the snowy mountains far away from the town.

And the bright-orange explosion of flames and an insane amount of magic started becoming bigger and bigger.

The explosion engulfed half of one of the mountains, completely melting the top half of the rocky giant.

The people who were dumbfoundedly watching this, felt absolutely insignificant and powerless against the sheer scale of whatever was going on.

The bright flames and the smoke that erupted with it into the skies, could be seen from far away.

Magic Council, Fiore Branch.

In a room with round table occupied by different individuals, mainly the upper rankings of the magic council, their chairman suddenly slammed his fist on the table.

"Reports! What the hell just happened on the mountains?" He spoke out, as the remnants of the explosion could be seen outside from the big window of the council room.

"The King is getting livid. That explosion was quite near the capital too." Another spoke up. (A/N: West of Magnolia is the capital of Crocus which is near the western mountain range. You can look the map of Fiore for more detailed reference.)

"What? Does he think we used 'that' or something?" Another member remarked with a chuckle.

"Reports are in. It was supposed to be a lair of a Wyvern. But it seems to have been mutated into a magic beast of a class beyond normal occurrences." Spoke a young man with dark-blue hair and red markings under and above his right eye.

Now they understood the scale of explosion, a fire-based creature going under a mutation was always catastrophic. Now they had to deal with it, before it could cause further damage.

A young woman with black hair, who was standing by his side spoke, "Lord Siegrain, I'm getting two magic signatures from there.

The other is the one who's fighting the thing."

"Who is it, Ultear?" The chairman asked to the woman.

"Satoru Gojo from Fairy Tail." She replied.

"Show us the broadcast." The chairman ordered and Ultear pointed the crystal that she was holding, towards the center of the table.

A big holographic screen appeared from the crystal that was embedded on the table and they observed the live scene of the man in question, fighting the mutated beast.

Siegrain observed the man in the screen, with a bit of hatred and amusement in his eyes, 'Strong as ever huh.'

As the explosion died off, a giant black and red Wyvern flew out of the center of the explosion.

The creature seemed to be in a lot of pain as it was missing one of its legs and there was a big hole under its wings.

A man about twenty years old, with snow-white hair, propped upwards by the black blindfold he was covering his eyes with and wearing dark-purple high-necked coat with pants of same color, was happily riding the back of the injured Wyvern.

"That was quite the firework you put there, little buddy." He remarked and continued, "Now that your magic is close to zero. I can just do this."

He flashed a maniacal grin and then the neck of the wyvern was enclosed in a translucent blue energy.

"SCRUNCH!"

The wyvern's head got ripped off from its neck, and it plummeted down towards the snowfields.

The people watched dumbfounded again, as the headless wyvern fell down with its head already on the ground.

From up close, the head itself was as big as a house. "BAAM!" The wyvern's body smashed onto the snowy ground.

And the man responsible for this, jumped down from its back as he dusted his clothes. Not that anything was on them.

He smiled and looked back at the long mountain range that were now visible and more than that, the gigantic serpent that lay dead over the mountains.

Its length more than the mountain range itself and its height towering over the mountains themselves.

What remained was the decaying carcass and bones of the serpent with a gigantic longsword embedded onto its skull. [Img.]

One of the men, who was looking at Satoru, silently muttered, "Yeah, I almost forgot. He was the one who did that." Pointing his head towards the dead serpent.

The dead serpent over the mountains could be seen from anywhere the mountains were visible. So, the view was pretty clear from inside the council chamber too.

The chairman stood up from his seat after the broadcast was finished. He looked at the enormous carcass, remembering the battle that shook all of the Fiore Kingdom, three years ago.

And the possible consequences, if they didn't have someone like that man on their side.

"The World Devouring Serpent. A supposedly 'immortal' memory from the book of Zeref, now reduced to nothing but a source of energy for the new ecosystem." Spoke Siegrain.

He looked at the contemplative look on the chairman's face then smirked and said, "What? Still salty, that he refused the council's offer?"

"Watch your tone, boy." The chairman warned the overly confident youngster.

"Our labelling doesn't matter anyways. People already believe him to be the Strongest wizard or something." He chuckled barely being able to hide the venom in his words.

"Well, you have to give it to him though. Aside from his overly destructive friends, he is the one with least amount of property damage." Ultear spoke.

"Yeah, I just remembered Hargeon and that stupid Salamander. Tsk, as always then. Send that fool Makarov some official warnings." The chairman ordered.

Fairy Tail Guild.

The inside of the guild hall was as chaotic as ever. It's members reveling in a joyous never-ending party.

Some of them fighting, some of them drinking and others just passing their times. The pinkish-white-haired girl Mirajane, an employee of the Fairy Tail, stood behind the counter with an ever the kind smile.

A half-naked teenage boy with spiky black hair, Gray Fullbuster, was running around the hall, probably looking for his clothes or probably not.

On one of the tables, was seated the same man who had defeated the wyvern the other day. Satoru Gojo.

The emblem of Fairy Tail was tattooed on the right side of his neck in vibrant blue color with its ends shifting into white.

He was blissfully enjoying a whole strawberry cake, eating it little by little with a spoon, relishing every moment of its sweetness.

The girl standing behind the counter, looked at Satoru and spoke, "Satoru, it's been a while since Natsu has gone."

She spoke about one of their hot-headed guild members.

"Come on Mira-chan. It's 'the' Natsu, we're talking about." He replied to the girl with a smile.

"I know and I normally wouldn't worry about Natsu that much. But you know, this time he went searching for Igneel and I don't think it's as simple as a dragon in the middle of a city." She said in a worried tone.

Satoru became a bit contemplative, then said, "You do know, that Natsu will just burn his way out of whatever problem he's facing."

"Hehe… That is like him. But still… Sigh, I know this is a lot to ask since you've just returned from a job. But can you teleport to Hargeon and check in on him." She asked the young man.

"No need actually." Satoru spoke, surprising her a bit.

Satoru then started the countdown, "3, 2, 1… And in comes the hot-headed dragon-slayer." When he finished, the main door was kicked opened as if the guild owed them a lifetime of debt.

"We're home!" The energetic pink-haired youth announced, flames literally erupting out of his mouth.

"Home." Along with a blue bipedal cat with a small green pouch tied on his back and a blonde-haired girl named Lucy, who was following him.

"Mira-chan, three beers this way please." Someone called Mirajane out, at the same time.

"Ah, Natsu, you're back-" "SMACK!" Krov, a dark-haired guy with bushy eyebrows and prominent upper central teeth, like that of a rodent was about to greet Natsu, when he got his face planted with his foot instead.

"Isn't that too much?" Lucy exclaimed.

"What the hell?" Krov complained as he got back up.

"You bastard, the info you gave me about salamander was as true as your teeth being normal." Natsu roared in anger.

"There you go, Natsu has returned and now the guild will be torn apart." Satoru spoke in a sarcastic tone.

Lucy who seemed awestruck as she had just entered the guild, was now starstruck as she saw the man who just spoke.

"Th- That- is…. Satoru Gojo!" She just seemed to have stars in her eyes.

"You're acting awfully suspicious Lucy. Didn't you already know, that he was a part of this guild?" Happy, the blue cat spoke as he gave her the side-eyes.

"I know that, stupid cat! It's just… It's him you know." The girl replied and thought, 'The blindfolded enigma, the one known as the white devil and the man rumored to be the strongest wizard in Fiore.

How could I not be surprised when he's sitting right there in front of me… eating a, strawberry cake?

Does he like strawberry cake? I have to note that down.' She immediately brought out a small note and started scribbling.

"Ugh… Satoru, this woman is really starting to creep me out." Happy reeled back to the man in question.

Satoru just chuckled and patted the cat's head, much to his amusement. He then said, "Don't think too much of it, Happy. Even I haven't understood women yet.

Here, have this." He brought out a fresh fish from nowhere and handed it to the cat, who jumped in excitement. "I promised you one, didn't I?" Satoru spoke, flashing a smile.

Happy looked at him with teary eyes and exclaimed, "You really are the best, Satoru!" He jumped on his lap and started munching the fish.

"What did you say? Natsu is back?" The half-naked Gray seemed surprised, when it soon turned into excitement as he heard a voice.

"Gray you nude fairy, let's continue the fight." Natsu Dragneel bolted towards his friend.

Lucy looked gob smacked at the almost naked guy, 'An exhibitionist.' She thought, while a dark-brown haired girl pointed out to Gray.

"Gray, you're naked, you know?"

"Ah, shit!" Gray looked down in surprise, as if he didn't know how or when his clothes were gone off of his body.

"Sigh… Just a bunch of undignified guys." The dark-brown haired girl, Cana Alberona picked up a barrel of booze and started chugging it down.

'And she's a chronic drunkard.'

"What's all the ruckus?" Lucy looked above at the person, huge enough to cast a shadow over her from the back.

It was the big and burly manly man of the guild, Elfman Strauss.

'Finally, someone serious, yet normal… I hope.'

Her hope was shattered when he went towards Natsu and Gray and started yapping, "Fighting like children, that is in no way manly. Speak with your fists!"

'It was all about fighting, after all.' She exclaimed in her thoughts and had a deadpanned face, when Natsu and Gray just swatted him like a fly and continued with their fights.

Lucy, lost in her thoughts was now turning towards Satoru, who seemed surprised at first, but then gave a smile.

"So, you must be the princess who flooded the port of Hargeon, right? Along with that flaming lizard, who destroyed half of it." Satoru spoke to her and then pointed towards the overly excited dragon-slayer with his spoon, who was beating the shit out of a poor guild member.

"Ah- That." She sounded awkward but then realized something, "Princess?" She asked.

"Humm… You're Jude Heartfillia's daughter, no?" He questioned back.

Seeing her tense look, Satoru reassured her, "Don't fret over it. You're just the spitting image of Layla, is all."

"You know my mother?" She asked, curiosity peeking through her eyes.

"Well, we're not exactly acquaintances, but… Well, I guess I'll tell you some other time. Besides, wouldn't want anyone else to know that you ran away from home, would we?" He whispered the last part, as he lifted one side of his blindfold, revealing an Azure-Blue eye, with an otherworldly beauty to it and winked at her, making her blush.

'Sigh, at least he's normal.' She thought to herself and smiled back at the man.

"How is Mrs. Layla doing by the way?" Satoru asked.

"Oh, she's fine. Better than ever." She replied with a genuine smile.

"I see. Well, send both of them my regards. If you talk to them again." He spoke and she gave a nod.

"Humm… So noisy." A young handsome man with orange hair walked towards Lucy. He had a pair of sunglasses on, as he spoke, "So, Natsu is back huh."

'Woah, Loke. One of the top ranked mages in weekly sorcerer gravure, who you'd want to have as your boyfriend.' Lucy thought to herself and looked at Satoru, 'Come to think of it, he has never done the modelling in the magazine, has he?

Wait, with those eyes and looks, wouldn't he just outclass everyone.' She thought in excitement, when she saw Loke playing with several girls at the same time.

'And this one turned out to be a womanizer.' She kneeled down, all her dreams being shattered.

'Are normal people that rare in this place?' She asked herself.

"Ara- A newcomer huh." She heard a voice and looking up, she saw none other than the top-ranking female wizard of the weekly sorcerer, Mirajane Strauss. The beauty herself in the flesh.

"Ahh, the real Mirajane is in front of me!" She exclaimed in excitement then, turning a bit worried, looked at Mira and asked, "Ah, shouldn't we be stopping them."

Lucy pointed towards the absolute chaos that was going on in the guild hall. She looked at Satoru who was unbothered by all the chaos and was enjoying his dish.

In fact, several stray bottles, humans and tables that flew up to his position were being stopped in the air, right before reaching him.

'Woah, is that his infamous spatial-magic in action?' Lucy looked amazed.

Suddenly Gray, now fully naked with his thing on full display was thrown onto the table, beside which was Lucy standing in shock.

"Don't turn towards me!" She shouted at the boy, who was facing her. Not too shy about displaying his properties.

"Hey uh, new girl? Would you mind lending me your underwear?" He asked so casually that Lucy was almost considering it but;

"Of course not!" She smacked his face and pushed him away from her.

"Agh, this is getting frustrating." Cana spoke in an irritated voice as she smacked her hand on the counter and got down, readying her magic as she pulled out a greenish-silver playing card.

And all of a sudden, every fighter involved in the brawl was now ready with their magic prepared to take the fight to another level.

"This is getting a bit intense now." Mira rose up from the floor as a splatter of blood trailed off of her forehead, with the same smile on her face.

"You don't seem like you should be smiling." Lucy commented as the fight was about to reach its peak.

"Cut your stupid shenanigans; you idiots!" A big and bold voice echoed throughout the room.

Everyone just stopped dead in their tracks. While all of them seemed tense and disappointed, there was one idiot who was standing victoriously with his arms folded.

"Hahaha… What a bunch of whimps. I guess it's my Win-" "Plop!" He was thrashed onto the ground by a giant foot, before he could continue speaking.

"Huh? A Newbie?" A pitch-black giant with two big horns looked down at Lucy, who seemed absolutely horrified under its gaze.

The giant suddenly shrunk down several times its size, revealing a short old man in his mid-eighties, wearing pajamas and the horned shaped cloth cap. He looked like a small jester.

"Ah, Master. You're here." Mira commented, her injuries from before had magically disappeared.

"Huh, master?" Lucy seemed surprised.

"Yup!" He replied in a cheery tone, then jumped to the upper floor, doing several backflips on the way.

Instead of the rail that he was aiming to land on, he got smacked onto it instead. The guild members just ignored it as if nothing happened and Makarov just stood up.

"Ah, ahem…"

"Alright, listen up you idiots!!! Do you see what's in my hand?" He raised a bunch of paper works, that he was holding.

"No these are not love letters, even though I get so many."

'Nobody asked.' Everyone deadpanned in their heads.

The old man continued, "No, these are complaints. Each and every one of these papers. Do you even know how much I have to listen the ramblings of those old fools from the council.

First off, Gray… Good job on handling those underground smugglers. But why in the hell would you run around the town naked afterwards and steal people's underwear."

"But wouldn't it be worse if I had been running around without an underwear?" Gray tried to defend his actions.

"Wait, wait… Shouldn't you just not be naked in the first place?" Lucy asked, perplexed how this guy was not in jail yet.

The old man said again, "Cana Alberona, you threw a drinking party for an entire town and put all the bill on Council's name."

"Shit, they found out." She muttered.

"And Loke, you were sent to run errands for the princess of Fiore. Not flirt with her. The king looked like he wanted you dead."

Loke just shrugged.

"Natsu, you fool. Each time you do a quest. The repair bills afterward is at least ten times more than that of the quest's original payment.

And why the hell is a part of Hargeon drowned while another part of it is missing from the map."

Both Lucy and Natsu seemed tense at this.

"And Satoru." The old-man looked at the guy who was busy eating his cake.

"Like always, there's no solid complain for you. But a question has been directly asked by the King of Fiore.

'What problem does he have with the western mountains?', that's what he wants to know."

"Hey! It's not my fault, every major thing I've fought is in that exact location. Besides that, Mutated Wyvern wasn't even a big deal. Except for its ridiculous magic reserve, of course." Satoru casually replied.

"I- I think I have the answer to that actually." Levi, the blue haired petite girl came forward.

Makarov was getting confused as to how this conversation was going off topic and Levi continued.

"I've done research on the changed ecosystem of that entire region. The residual magic from that giant serpent is making the magic beasts stronger and increasing the rate of mutations too-" She spoke but was interrupted by Makarov.

"Back on topic. I haven't finished citing the entire list of names. And yes, Levi… Your name is here too." He looked at the girl.

She looked away with an embarrassed expression.

Makarov said again, "And all of you too… You guys make the council angry all the times and their nags do nothing but hurt my eardrums."

There was a sudden silence in the hall and a new tension in the air. As everyone was expecting master's next words.

"But." He spoke, "Fu*k the council." He declared with a grin.

Lighting up the papers in hand in flames, he threw the flaming papers towards a certain flame eating wizard.

Natsu caught the fire with his mouth like a dog would catch its food.

"Listen up. You all might as well be fools. But you're my fools nonetheless. No matter who says anything, the mysteries and miracles of magic can't be confined by petty rules and regulations.

And magic is not just a miracle on its own. It's an answer. An answer to your spirit, that coincides with the spirit of nature.

It is the embodiment of your will and concentration, and all your dedication on what you want to do and accomplish.

Pouring all your soul in whatever you want to do, that is Magic. And if all you're worried about is the watchful eyes of some higherups, your Magic will never evolve.

Don't fear the fools of the council. Do whatever you think is right!" The old man exclaimed as he raised his hand pointing a finger upwards.

The rest of the members reciprocated with the same sign and started their celebration again.

Sometime Later:

Satoru was speaking with master Makarov.

"So, any signs of your sister?" Makarov asked to him.

Satoru just shook his head and replied, "None, in fact after that lead eight years ago, I've found nothing solid and worth putting time for."

"Don't lose hope, my boy. If you strongly believe she's alive. I'm sure you'll find her one day." He spoke.

"Haha… I won't old man. Hope is what keeps me going after all." Satoru replied with a smile.

Looking at Satoru's cheery expression, Makarov thought to himself, 'I wonder how many like him would have gone down the path of revenge, after what happened to him.

It's rare finding someone, who cares about the ones still living so much. I really hope he's reunited with her again.'

"My friends in the council and some other contacts are also doing their best, searching for her, Satoru." Makarov spoke, hoping it would give him some reassurance.

"Old man, I'm fine I told you. Finding her is one of my responsibilities after all and the other one, is to look after this family." He muttered and turned towards the chaotic bunch.

Makarov looked at him with a content smile. He himself including several other figures in the magic world were glad that someone as strong as Satoru was a good person.

Well, the same couldn't be said for the ones who were on his bad side. But still, he was a good hearted person nonetheless.

Makarov shuddered, as he remembered some of Satoru's fights from the past.

Lucy was excited about the guild insignia that was tattooed on her hand. "Hey Natsu. Look, look, I've also got the symbol."

"Hah… Good for you Luigi." Natsu mindlessly replied.

"It's Lucy!" She remarked getting no reaction.

"Sigh… What are you doing standing there anyways?" She asked the boy who had been staring at the job board.

"I was wondering what job we should take. I was hoping something easy, since this would be your first one." He replied.

"Hey, when did we became a team?"

"We are though-" Natsu replied when they all heard the voice of small kid complaining.

"Hey old man. Is my daddy back yet?" A six-year-old boy with dark-purple hair, spoke with teary eyes as he looked at Makarov.

Makarov replied, "I already told you Romeo. He just went to Mount Hakobe, he's a capable wizard. Just believe in him, will ya? He'll be back in no time. Now go and stop annoying me."

"Please, he said he'd be back in three days, but it's already been more than a week. You have to go look for him." Romeo replied in a bit louder voice.

"Do you even hear yourself? He's a wizard of Fairy Tail, and he's more than capable of taking care of himself. Now, go home and drink milk or something." Makarov exclaimed in an angered tone.

"Idiot old man!" "SMACK!" Romeo jumped and punched him in the face, then ran outside of the guild, crying.

"Heh, you still suck at speaking with children." Satoru remarked.

"Never was my forte." Makarov chuckled rubbing the sore nose.

"Still, do you really think his pride would be hurt if his life was in danger." Satoru asked with a smirk.

"Tsk, not you too. Why do all brats get adamant on annoying me?" Makarov grumbled.

"Just sayi-" Satoru was about to reply when a loud bang resounded throughout the hall.

It was Natsu, who had punched the job board and was now heading out.

"You know what to do." Satoru looked at the cat, who was on his lap.

"Aye sir! Leave his wellbeing to me." Happy replied and flew towards Natsu, who was already outside the guild hall.

"Master, you know he's gonna do something bad." Elfman commented.

"Leave him be." He replied looking to the side.

"So, not gonna stop him?" Satoru asked with a smile.

"No one can decide what he wants to do." He replied with a smirk of his own.

"Heh, you and your tough love." Satoru remarked.

"What happened to him, all of a sudden?" Lucy asked as he was seated near the counter, drinking ice tea.

"Sigh… The same thing happened to Natsu, so, I guess he sees himself in Romeo." Mira replied with a saddened expression

"Huh?" Lucy tilted her head in confusion.

Mira continued, "Natsu's father never returned after disappearing one day. Though, by father I mean foster father, since he was a Dragon."

Lucy fell down from her seat, as it was too much info, "Wait, wait… Natsu was raised by a dragon?" She asked.

Mira nodded and said, "He was found by Igneel when he was little. And he taught everything to Natsu, including his dragon-slayer magic."

"It's hard to believe, right?" Mira spoke with a smile and Lucy nodded.

"Oh, but I've seen one." Satoru raised his finger.

"Igneel?" Makarov asked in surprise as he'd never mentioned this before. It was the same for others too.

"No, not Natsu's father. She called herself Velgrynd, the scorch dragon." Satoru replied.

Seeing the frown on Mira's face, Satoru said, "No I haven't said anything about this to Natsu, and you know the reason why."

"No, I was actually about to ask why you haven't told him." She spoke.

'Me too. Wouldn't that give some kind of clue about Igneel to him.' Lucy thought to herself.

"First of all, you all know Natsu. He'd go running around trying to find that dragon without any plans. And second, she's already dead."

"How? What happened?" Lucy asked.

"I killed her." Satoru replied with a straight face.

If it was said by anyone else, they would make a laughing stock out of themselves. But this was Satoru Gojo.

Everyone who heard him just now, remembered the battle three years ago. And the remnant of the battle that was still present.

"Why though?" Mira asked, a bit sad..

"Sigh… From all of Natsu's stories, the Fire Dragon Igneel actually sounds like a decent character.

But this Velgrynd, she was no friend to us. I tried having a conversation with her, but all she wanted to do was tear me apart and make a meal out of me." He replied.

'Scary… But still, to kill a dragon.' Lucy thought to herself, completely realizing that there was an absolute monster behind that cheerful and casual demeanor.

"Did you find anything noteworthy?" Makarov asked to him.

"None, other than the fact that she had awakened a few weeks after the date, Natsu said his father had disappeared." He replied.

'Well, his father is healing inside his soul. But they don't need to know that.' Satoru rubbed the side of his blindfolded eyes as he thought.

"I see." Mira spoke, a bit contemplative that probably the last of those Majestic beings was now no more.

She looked at Lucy and spoke, "Lucy, I have a request for you…"

And now, the blonde girl was sent as a backup to the hot-headed dragonslayer, not before Satoru reminding her that it would be best if she doesn't mention about the dragon....

Sometime Later:

Satoru was standing near the edge of the hill, behind the guild hall, looking at the afternoon sun and the bright glistening glow that it gave to the ocean.

Sensing someone behind him, he spoke, "You're still alive, Laxus." He didn't turn around.

"Heh, I can say the same for you." The slicked back blond-haired muscular man, with orange eyes and a lightning shaped scar on his right eye, spoke.

He was Laxus Drayer, grandson of Makarov Drayer and a fellow s-class wizard of the Fairy Tail guild. Laxus was slightly taller than Satoru, both above the height of 193 cm.

"Where's the trio of your fan group? It's unlike them to leave you alone." Satoru asked about the three members of the Raijin group, Laxus being their leader.

"They're on a job, on their own this time around." He replied as he stood beside Satoru.

"Spill it out. You look like you wanna say something." Satoru spoke, nudging his shoulder.

"Sigh… This last job I went to. I had a run in with the cult, that attacked your village and your mother- What I meant was, they seemed to be related to the ones from that day."

"Continue." Satoru spoke, without much change in his expression.

"One of them is in the council's custody. I'm sure you won't have problem speaking with the bastard.

He seems to know something, but I couldn't make him speak. Those are some crazily brainwashed fanatics.

I don't know how you'll make him speak, but still. Better than nothing, right?" Laxus finished speaking.

"That is true." Satoru chuckled then said, "Then I better have a civilized 'talk' with this crazy fanatic then.

Where are they holding him?" He asked at the end

"The High Security Prison, in Era." He replied.

"Tsk, then I can't just go in. No matter, I'll make some arrangements with a contact of mine." Satoru muttered to himself.

"Wait, were you planning to break in, if it was anywhere else?" Laxus asked, a bit surprised.

"I would never think of that." Satoru replied in a slightly offended tone. Laxus didn't believe him one bit.

"Anyways, thanks for the info. I'll head out after a bit of rest." Satoru spoke and Laxus gave a nod.

After a bit of silence, Laxus asked, "So, that dragon you killed. How was the fight?"

"You heard?"

"I was on the second floor. And you can be honest with your answer." Laxus spoke.

"Well, she was strong. That much I can say." He replied with a chuckle.

"How was it for you?"

After a bit of silence, he replied with a bit monotone but slightly chilling voice, "Disappointing."

With some beads of sweat coming down the back of his head Laxus replied with a strained smile, "I see."

Seeing that the conversation was going nowhere, Satoru turned around and said, "Well, I've some errands to run. See you later, chiao!" Motioning with his hand and a smile on his face.

Laxus didn't say anything, he was used to Satoru's sudden personality shifts. One moment, you couldn't read anything on the guy and next, he showed himself as a complete idiot.

'How much stronger will you get, Satoru?' Laxus thought to himself.

The same question was being asked by someone else too.

Inside a properly designed and decorated room. A woman in her late-twenties with long snow-white hair, dark crimson eyes and slightly tanned skin, was standing near the window of the room, holding a magic crystal that was displaying Satoru's fight with a dragon.

She was a tall woman, with athletically muscular features and a pair of dark-silver piercings on her ears. There was an excited glint on her eyes.

'I wonder if 'that' is the reason for his unprecedented growth.' She thought, remembering a certain thing she did to him in the past.

'Humm… Plausible but could be worth finding out. You've become a lot stronger than I could have ever imagined, Satoru.

Don't worry, we'll meet again soon. Though, I highly doubt this reunion will be the same as you imagine it to be.' She thought with a smirk as her eyes glowed with a faint crimson light.

The next day.

Magnolia City, inside Satoru's house.

Satoru was in his room, sitting in front of a study table. He was in his casual clothes, simple white shirt and blue pants.

His eyes weren't covered currently. Satoru's Eyes were a vibrant shade of blue, and a clouded pattern in his irises. And his hair, long enough to touch the tip of his nose.

He looked up at the communication crystal that was on the table and putting on a pair of dark opaque sunglasses, he activated the crystal.

"Ah, Satoru. Good to hear from you again." An old man's voice echoed from the other side of the crystal.

It was Yajima, a close friend of Makarov and Satoru, and a member of the council. "I see you're energetic as always, Mr. Yajima." Satoru replied.

"Haha, how I wish… These old bones can't handle that much energy. Please, do tell me what I- no, what the council can do for you." Yajima asked.

"Humm… Have the knights arrested someone from the cult of Zeref, recently?" Satoru questioned.

"Sigh... I believe I know who you're talking about. But, as a councilman myself, I'm ashamed to tell you that the man has been murdered right under our noses." Yajima replied in an apologetic tone.

Satoru was surprised, 'That was quick. It's as if they knew someone was going to come for that guy, or something else entirely.'

"Any leads on who did it?" Satoru asked.

"As much as it pains me to say this, me and some of my trusted comrades believe that someone from the inner circle of the council is involved in this." Yajima replied.

"I see." Satoru muttered.

"I'm sure you must have noticed it too by now, Satoru. But the disappearance of your sister, is getting more and more complicated and as younglings like to call it… Crazy.

Every time we or you get a lead, everything else works against the chances of finding anything about her.

I advise outmost vigilance." Yajima spoke and Satoru couldn't help but agree with what the old man was saying.

Satoru then said, "You too, Mr. Yajima. It'd be better not to put a complete trust on anyone, until the rat within the council is discovered."

"Humm… Take care now, I have a few meetings coming up." Yajima said and when Satoru gave a nod, the communication crystal was turned off.

'Who or whatever it is that's playing this sick game with me… Heh.' "If I get my hands on you." His serious expression changed into a sadistic smile as he closed his fist.
