'It's tough.'

'It's really really tough.'

It has been a week since Orzel decided to adopt Hana. He stayed in Oshibana to prepare some daily necessities for Hana before moving.

The week was enough for Orzel to realize the horror of raising a child and why many people do it only after they are completely ready for the responsibility.

A child needs constant attention. There were many instances during shopping with Hana when she left his side by getting distracted by a butterfly or food, mostly food.

It was good that he had keen senses and caught her before she went far.

Kids also had a tendency to put anything they find interesting in their mouth.

Hana nearly ate the space ring he usually wore, while she was playing in his lap.

It was not so much exhausting physically, rather it takes a mental toll on persons mind.

There were some good things that happened in the previous week too.

Hana was now a lot more cheerful as compared to before and could talk to anyone without stuttering .

Orzel was happy with this development, he didn't want her to be a loner emo kid, but have fun as a normal child.

Hana is also really blunt with her thoughts, and isn't afraid to voice them out.

For instance, While on a walk with Orzel in the town square, when they were browsing through the stalls.

When they reached the stall from where Orzel bought her dress.

"Daddy! This fat uncle looks like a pig!"

Hana pointed at the stall owner and said while giggling.

Even though Hana didn't mean any harm and was just stating her opinion.

Her words still managed to piss the stall owner who was now gnashing his teeth in anger.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY YOU Da- pffft.."

A punch straight to his cheek knocked his teeth out before he finished the sentence.

"Ah! My hand moved on it's own."

Orzel apologized with a sincere expression. He really didn't wanted to punch his face. Definitely not.

Hana who saw him had stars in her eyes thinking the punch was really cool.

"Well here, It's not much but it will be enough for you for a month or so."

Orzel took out around 100,000 jewels and a high quality elixir as compensation and placed them near the unconscious stall owner.

He even poured the elixir in the owners mouth which regenerated his teeth.

'I'm such a kind person.'

Thinking that Orzel left while holding Hana's hand who was still thinking about the punch.

If the owner was conscious and knew what he thought he would surely spit on his face.

Only after the duo left did the people react and hurriedly took the fatty to a nearby hospital.

No one called the guards since Orzel had already compensated the owner and no one dared to mess with him anyway.

Orzel, after leaving the square, thought that he need to teach Hana not to make fun of peoples appearances.

He didn't want to go around punching people in the face.

As for rebuking Hana.

He didn't had the heart to do that.

This was one of the big incident that happened in the week they stayed in Oshibana.

Orzel and Hana were now on the train which would take them to Magnolia, passing through the town of Kunugi and Onibus before reaching Magnolia.

Hana was busy looking out the window at the scenery.

She after a week, looked much healthier than before, she was no longer skinny.

Orzel was just staring at the ceiling, thinking about his future plans.

He had decided to settle down in Magnolia with Hana.

Even though he wanted to continue his travel, he wanted Hana to grow a bit more before accompanying him on his tour.

Travelling with a kid was more of a nuisance than fun after all.

He would wait till she is in her teens before setting out on his journey.

Hopefully, by then he also would have found a mother for Hana to join them on their travels.

After contemplating for a long time, Orzel decided to join Fairy Tail.

First, he needed to legalize his and Hana's citizenship.

He could get the documents by writing an application to the Magic council, but that would take a lot of time and he was too lazy for that.

Orzel also didn't want to get involved with the corrupt council, since he was sure if they ever snooped around for his past, they would definitely send an army to detain him.

'They would still be slaughtered.'

Orzel sneered in contempt thinking about the council, He naturally looked down on people who liked to play high and mighty with their authorities.

He didn't fear them but he had Hana with him now.

So, in conclusion becoming a guild mage was a better and safe option.

'I also have the recommendation letter Gildarts gave me back then.'

"Daddy!!"

Orzel was broken out of his thoughts by Hana who was pouting and puffing her cheeks looking at him.

"Don't ignore Hana!"

"Ah, sorry, did you say something just now?"

"Hmph! Hana is hungry."

Hana was still pouting and was holding her stomach indicating she was hungry.

"Didn't you just eat some time ago?"

Orzel was really Speechless when it comes to her appetite, she was never full.

Earlier he thought that too much eating would be bad for her health, but Hana doesn't seem to be affected.

'Her metabolism must be faster than the average person.'

That's the conclusion he came up with after some thinking.

People of this world usually have stronger bodies due to the magic power they have in their bodies.

Hana's constitution could be considered a bit stronger than a normal mage. It's a good thing anyway.

"You know, you will grow fat if you eat too much."

"No! Hana won't grow fat."

Hana had her head held high and her hands on her hips with a smug smile on her face.

"Is that so? Then what are these?"

Orzel started teasing her while pinching her cheeks which had baby fat on them.

"Leigh goo!!"

Hana was trying to escape out of his grasp, which she succeeded doing since Orzel let her go soon.

Hana was now rubbing her cheeks while glaring at him with her big eyes which made her look cuter.

Orzel really had fun teasing her like this, and could do it all day.

He couldn't though since they were about to reach Magnolia station soon.

'Finally, let's start a normal life here….'
