The Novel HEROIC SWORDSMAN'S protagonist, Leon Cromwell, an unprecedented genius, the likes of which have never been seen before in mankind's history.
In where the novel stopped Leon had become the strongest human in history, being the first one to achieve SSS rank.
In the novel humans were losing badly, the only reason they hadn't been completely wiped out was due to the help they received from the dwarves who became their allies.
And since dwarves live by honour they sent major reinforcement to humanity in the form of artifacts, skills, resources like herbs for quicker rank up etc.
They also sent soldiers to help the humans deal with the other races before Leon became (SSS)-rank and with his unique trait became OP as well.
As I sat down in my seat, my mind shifted back to the war, thousands perhaps millions were going to die but there was still a huge problem.
And that was the fact that even at (SSS)-rank, and being OP and all, Leon still wouldn't stand a chance against Beelzebub the ruler of gluttony.
The demon king that descended during the war. An (EX)-rank, a being capable of wiping out this entire planet with a wave of his hand.
While my thoughts were still drifting towards the future, I heard the sound of the door opening and heard a voice speak out.
"Settle down everyone", a feminine voice spoke out loud from the front of the class.
From the excited and admiration filled look in their eyes I could tell that they already knew who this woman was.
A young lady with a slender build, blonde hair, and blue eyes. Sarah Albert, the daughter of the chairman of the explorer association, John Albert, the walking calamity, one of only ten (SS)-ranks on earth.
Sarah herself was also incredibly talented, breaking through to (S-)-rank at 24 years old. The youngest ever to reach such a rank.
And with her background and strength, as well as her beauty, it was obvious why the students especially those with no background admired her.
"My name is Sarah Albert and I will be your homeroom teacher for the next one year".
"Today we won't hold any classes in particular, seeing as it's your first day. And so we shall only have roll call".
Saying so she brought out her tablet and started scrolling through while calling our names along with our ranks. Student ranks by the way.
"Rank 1..... Jessica Gates".
"Present".
Cassandra replied.
"Rank 2..... Leon Cromwell"
"Present"
"Rank 3..... Jaden Smith"
"Present"
"Rank 4..... Angela Milton"
"Present"
"Rank 5..... Lily Ashdown"
"Present"
......
And so she kept calling their name alongside their ranks while they responded.
Since it was going to take a while before it got to me, I decided to lay my head down a bit and wait till it was my turn.
At least that was what I planned to do until I heard a name that caught my interest.
"Rank 650..... Richard Parker"
"Present"
A blonde haired, arrogant looking boy replied. It was him. The guy I met the first day I was transmigrated.
Richard Parker, son of an executive of the Reaper guild, a platinum graded guild.
So he's in my class. Oh boy, I can already tell this guy is going to be a pain in the ass.
"Rank 1230..... Jason Hunt"
Looks like it's gotten to my name. So I responded the way others had.
"Present"
She called about three more names after mine, but I already stopped listening.
"Okay, that will be all for today". Saying so she turned off the tablet and left the class.
The moment she left the class, the bell rang signalling the end of classes for today.
Since today was more about settling in there weren't any classes just roll call to make sure we were all here.
Now it was time to head to our dormitories.
*********************
The dormitories weren't too far from the building we take our classes.
So I just decided to jog there while applying aura bit by bit. It was a good way to perfect my aura control even a bit.
I kept jogging till I got to a really huge red building. Man, this thing is huge.
The building in front of me was the Python dorm building. It had about 100 floors.
There were three dormitory buildings on school grounds namely Python, Hydra, and Mystic.
Python is where the first year students stay. It had fifteen rooms per floor and there were about a hundred floors.
While Hydra is the building where the second years stay. It had the same setup as the first year's building. Hundred floors, fifteen rooms per floor.
And you've probably figured out who stays in the Mystic building so I won't dive into it.
***************
When I got to the building, I showed my student ID to the guards there and walked right in.
Mannnn, the author detailed his work quite well. While thinking so I walked straight to the elevator and clicked on which floor I was heading.
The nineteenth floor. Turns out Milles Academy gave rooms according to your student rank.
My room was the first room on the nineteenth floor so once I get there, I won't have the trouble of walking all the way down the hall just to get to my room.
Lucky.
*Ding*
Oh, that was the elevator sound indicating that I had reached the nineteenth floor.
So I got out of the elevator and headed to my room.
**************************
Inside a luxurious looking office, a young blonde haired lady was sitting in her office chair going through her things.
It was Sarah. She had just finished her class with second years, so she was packing for the day when she came across the student profile folder for the first years in her class.
Seeing as she was almost done and still had some spare time, she decided to take a look at it one more time.
She scrolled through it on the tablet. The list had all the information on the students including their rank.
She kept scrolling through until she stopped at a particular name. Jason Hunt.
"Jason Hunt. Lisa's brother huh"
She muttered silently and smiled while thinking 'This should be fun'.
