Chapter 6 - Milles Academy (2)

Milles Academy was the biggest, richest, and strongest academy in the human continent.

It covered a distance of eight thousand square kilometers. That was larger than some of the smaller cities in the human continent.

It contained nearly a hundred classrooms, thirty classrooms for each year.

They also had thousands of research labs for the different research department students, teachers, high grade training facilities, and  resources that could help even high awakeners.

That alone was enough to entice people into working there.

So every year there were always at least thirteen thousand people taking the entrance examination but in the end they only took one thousand five  hundred students each year from the applicants for all three departments consisting of combat, research, and support courses.

But their classrooms were in the same building. The building which Jack was heading to now.

The building consisted of five floors. The first floor A was for the freshmen, the second floor B was for the second year students, the third floor C was for the third year students.

While floor D and E were for the professors. With floor E being for the high ranking professors.

*******

*SIGH*

As Jack got to the door of his classroom, he sighed for umpteenth time.

"Why do I have to be in the same class as them?" Jack groaned. "They are literally trouble magnets. It's like no matter what they do, they attract troublesome and fatal situation".

He went ahead and complained even further. "Like the time almost half their entire class almost got killed by the demon contractors just because the protagonists were being targeted. Just thinking that I also have to live through that scenario sends shivers down my spine".

"You know what, forget it, I'll just wing it". And with that he straightened out his collar, put his hands inside his trouser pockets, opened the classroom door and entered with a bit of swag, even bouncing like those cool kids at school did and it would have been fine except

*THUD*

The heavy sound of something falling resounded across the room. He had slipped on something and fell face first into the ground.

  ...

Silence prevailed in the room before__

"*Pfft* puhahahahaha" someone at the front laughed.

It was a girl of average height and nearly perfect fair skin tone, green eyes, auburn colored hair: Lily Ashdown, daughter of (S)-rank awakener, Henry Ashdown, the mayor of Dallas city and one of the vice heads of Asgard, one of the strongest organizations in the continent. She was  one of the protagonists.

*Hahahahahaha*

As she started laughing the entire class followed.

Jack felt so awkward at that moment and just decided to get to a seat quickly and become unnoticed and hopefully by the end of the day everyone would have forgotten.

As he hurriedly moved to the back, he was able to catch a glimpse of all the members of the main cast.

A dark haired boy with blue eyes and a handsome and arrogant looking face; Jaden Smith, the son of Kevin Smith. The head of the Smith family and guild master of Angel's Wing guild.

A girl with silver colored hair with a matching pair of eyes. She had an indifferent look on her face; Jessica Gates.

The granddaughter of Charlotte Gates, one of the only ten SS-ranks in the human continent.

A girl with sky blue colored hair, with a matching pair of sky blue eyes as well. With a slender build, and a luscious body; Celine Light. A descendant of the light family.

And a boy with golden hair and golden eyes, with a well structured face almost making him look like a well made handsome Sculpture; Leon Cromwell, THE protagonist of HEROIC SWORDSMAN.

Seeing all of them gathered in one place, Jack couldn't help but smile to himself and muttered under his breath as he sat at the back corner of the classroom. "Things are about to get interesting".
