Chapter 12: Insignia

20 years ago...

Markus run towards his mother crying,

her mother hugged him and asked

"What's wrong my dear?" his mother said

"the other kids are avoiding me...they said I have the devil's eyes" Markus said.

"Don't say that" his mother said

"Why does my turns red sometimes?" Markus said

"Well, don't you like mommy's eyes?" his Mother said

"I love them but..why aren't mine permanently red?" Markus said

"Well that's because you are special, you are not like the other kids, you are born to be different and being different is good, because you can be more than anyone else, I know you will, because you are your father's son and my son as well, I know you won't understand now, but you will be great someday, greater than any of us"- she said as she hand's over a ball and Markus smiled at her.
