Day 46-72 Cold Dragon Pond

With the recent fighting, it was no wonder the beast appeared out of the Pond when they got close. Wu Shanhe sat under a tree studying the notebook Rexford just gave him. Wei Lan helps A'Xiu with her killing of a person and understanding how to control her power better.

"This Snake looks so.. kool!" Chang Wen cheered. She could feel her Cultivation reacting in response to it. Specifically the scales on the Cold Snake. "I really want it!"

Looking at the large Snake, Rexford pulled out a Spirit Enhancing pill and then shot it into its mouth. So many skills to go through and needing for diverse cultivators, this was to go to let go.

"No sense in you staying here in danger. Come work for me, and I guarantee a better life. The choice is ultimately yours of course." The Cold Snake eyed him closely with a predatory gaze. "I am better for you than the pond."

*Fwish!* Using the Black Gold Sun Art, the heat production was more than delicious to the snake. If not for the time spent in the Cold Pond, Rexford would be the perfect resource for it.

The snake consumed the pill fully before making a decision. It moves its large head towards staring into his eyes.

"Drink." Dropping blood onto its tongue, the power inside caused the snake to go through a metamorphosis. Its body was encased in smoke and then visibly shrunk. All that was left was a kid about three years old or so with parts of the scales falling into the water. "Haa, clothes."

Wrapping the snake in qi, makeshift clothing formed around it. His control of the Transdecant Ream increased more and more. Especially with the material-producing ability of the Black Gold Vortex growing to reflect the change in his soul.

"The scales are yours of course." Chang Wen removed her clothes jumping into the lake after smiling at him. The bathing suit was modest enough Rexford supposed. "Alright, not doing the whole teaching how to speak thing and all that nonsense over the next few weeks."

"Hmm?" The Cold Dragon Snake looked at him oddly. Its hair was a dark teal with golden eyes the same as Rexford's. "Warm.. hand.." Feeling Rexford imparting information onto it, the snake cooed a little. "Umm, father."

"Father?" Rexford shrugged not really minding too much. He sent a message to Sini Dova to help acquire some papers for the "kid" now. Best to cover those bases and unlike with the name change he didn't have to get new contacts involved that he new about. "Well you have my blood in you, so I suppose that does count."

"This kid.. has the strength of at least an Internal Force Cultivator of the Perfected (A) stage." Wei Lan said astonished. She looked at Chang Wan swimming in the water freely. Her body glowed even in the daytime as she gained strength visibly. "This a perfect place for them."

"You are overthinking things, it will be the perfect place for you as well soon. Follow me." Rexford threw out a few daggers forged from stone made during his testing phase. Landing by Wu Shanhe and A'Xiu who were in deep cultivation. "They will be fine while we move further about."

"Right." Wei Lan switched to a bathing suit joining him in the water. Noting the water was warmer near Rexford in an area of about four feet. "So what's his name gonna be?"

"Hey kid, what's your name?" Rexford looked back as the boy jumped in the water following them. He even swam like a snake. "You are centuries old and already developed Wisdom as a monster before."

"Hehe, usually the parent names the child Rexford." Wei Lan chuckled. She looked between the two coming up with a name. "Mingyun Chítáng sounds good." A slight flush hit her cheek in naming the child herself. 'What silly thoughts am I having?! He won't go for this!'

"Destiny Pond?" Rexford looked at her with a small smile in response. The boy swimming around the two happily. "Well, I guess he likes it."

"Chitang... I like." The now-named Chitang moved about excited. "Lots of memories in the blood."

"Keep them to yourself for now. We can talk about it in private later." Rexford instructed as he needed to dive into controlling that himself somehow for the future. Above them, the Lights containing the cameras continued to follow along. With two staying back with the others. "Chang Wen, you ok?"

"Yes!" Chang Wen waved from further up. She was moving as fast as a fish in the water. "Really like this place!"

"Hmm, guess I should just make this my own. I mean the Ghost Clan has a small place here but they are too weak to keep it. My control over Space is not strong enough to take the entire mountain area just yet." Rexford continued to spread his Divine Sense out marking the area with a formation. "Gonna have to make a Concealment Array for now."

"The property may be owned by the Ghost Clan unofficially but we can buy it legally and make it our own. Turning it into Private Property for the Ansatsuken." Wei Lan added in. While purchasing the Aviation Company in the area she also checked on the Land Acquisition Rights for various proprties. "Yanyan Hu should be working on it already. Just need to give her exact areas to buy really due to cost restrictions."

"Then best to get started on that." Rexford made a quick call to deal with that.

Chitang stood in the warm water near him. Wei Lan taught him ways to talk a little better that was not so formal speaking. The former snake caught on really quickly. Enough that she was a little scared about what it would grow into.

Chang Wen came back after seeing them not moving for a while. Joining in the conversation with Rexford's monster son. She was quite quick with her words and told the monster he had to call her Mother Wen.

Wei Lan frowned and told the snake to call her the same in haste. Not really knowing any better it did so with a little confusion. Causing both to gush and forget all about cultivating briefly.

A few hours passed quickly. Wu Shanhe and A'xiu coming over to join them. With the latter fretting only about the child and somewhat ok with killing a person mere hours ago. Certain emotional triggers were harder to deal with.

"I understand a little better now and I definitely know how to act accordingly." Wu Shanhe stated. "I will make sure the Ghost Clan listens well. You have my word." Rexford just nodded at him. He did want to bring them into the fold to increase his control.

"Go ahead to establish they are joining the Ansatsuken and will be the base of Martial Operations in the area until things change in the future. With the Underground Auction and the Medicine Hall, this place could turn into something major."

"Understood." Wu Shanhe moved off getting to work. To the left of him, the body of his former brother's disciple moved. But a look with Qi revealed Mr.Shi was inside. "Mr.Shi was successfully planted inside to help..develop the skill more."

"I am just glad not to be dead." Mr.Shi stated.

"Well, I'm sure you want your old face back considering your reputation and all." Rexford took seconds thinking about finding the right way to do it. As well as pulling out a few Vortex Spirit Enhancing Pills to increase the new man's strength. "Use this method to get your face back and these pills in apology for what happened."

"Thank You!" Mr.Shi thanked him wholeheartedly. Sure he lost his life before and there was definitely a grudge but the pills more than made up for it with a slightly younger body. "I look forward to working with you in the future!"

*Woom!* A silhouette formed behind Wu Shanhee connecting to a murky silhouette that represented Shi. Enough trust was there that Rexford did not worry for now. The Mini would keep a close eye on the changes.

"Rexford.... I feel really.. bloated." A'Xiu said. Her body was bursting with qi from overconsumption.

"Get out of the water and stop absorbing the Qi in the area. Your body needs to increase in power for you to contain more." Rexford looked her over seeing the slight change to her skin tone. Not too bad but to be pushed to the limit was good in his opinion. "The water is beneficial for you but take it a little slower next time. You now how a gauge for how much you can handle with this type of Qi."

"Right!" A'Xiu jumped out landing on some rocks. "Feel better already, just finished my homework previously so I will focus on expansion a little." Channeling her cultivation she no longer paid attention to them.

"I think can last a little longer." Wei Lan stated. "But not much longer than 5 hours." She looked at Rexford who stared her down. Enough that she started to fidget a little. "What is it?"

"Just admiring you, fan of those who put in work and effort. We are here, after all, to get stronger." Rexford moved over grabbing her hands and running his qi through her. "A little Dual Cultivation to help you. Then when you get out I will work with Chang Wen's energetic self."

"Ok." Wei Lan nodded. A little color in her cheeks from his warm touch forming. "Thank you for the assistance." Circulating her cultivation in harmony with her own, she was reminded how much deeper she could go with her cultivation methods. "I.. I saw yesterday I mean last night what happened to the Wei Family and yourself. Well, kind of what happens."

"Hmm?" Rexford opened his eyes looking at her. He still circulated his qi and blood energy through her. Each pass causes Wei Lan's silhouette to fill out more inside his Internal Space. The Mini watched with rapt attention not interrupting just yet. "Go on."

"It happened the same time you were going through Tribulation according to Yanyan Hu when I asked her." Wei Lan's eyes contained the same heroine-like quality as her cousin Wei Ziqing. Growing deeper and in depth for appearance. "The others saw it two from the text messages I received. I am sure when we return they will bring gifts to try and make amends for something that hasn't even happened."

"I see." Rexford listened to her talk and realized she knew only the History about what would happen with the reincarnated Chen Fan. But then a few words shocked him. Mentioning the original timeline that existed and how she was married off like several others after their grandfather died and several others' lives were ruined because of Wei Ziping's actions. "I see. Thank you for sharing this with me."

"Happy I can help." Wei Lan didn't know what else to say and by the looks of it, Rexford was just as surprised but didn't think they were crazy or anything. She also felt the qi and internal energy increased between the two. "I.. feel a deeper connection to right now."

"Yeah.. I am going to need you not to say things like that." Rexford grinned. "It is a little distracting and hard to concentrate." She took a look down seeing his erection. "Eyes forward missy." Wei Lan stuck her tongue out before focusing again. 'Alright Mini, explain.'

He looked deeper in on himself getting face to face with the Mini version of himself. The change in his Internal Space was quite vast. Not the land part and large tree but the silhouettes of everyone looking more life-like.

"Where to begin..." The Mini rubbed the back of its head before starting. "Your power with Destiny and the Unending is growing quicker than I thought possible. I wanted to understand more before I made a mistake screwing us over. I am after all you but apart from you in several ways."

"That's nice, but more talky talky." Rexford looked around not seeing one for the Cold Snake. "Why isn't Chitang here? Well a representation of him anyway?"

"Because his body formed from your blood mostly I guess. I have know idea yet." The Mini shrugged. "For all intents and purposes, he is your son now as far as the Way, Pantheons, and other matters concern. And as a Son of a Champion, his future can not be seen by others now. Unless you remove it from him. Which I do not recommend."

"Right so explain the other stuff now." Rexford didn't see a reason to do that. The former Monster could help him understand more about the Transdence Realm and the power in his body. "The different futures they all saw."
