Day 17 Auction Part 3

"I don't think this violent guy has an invitation to be here!" Chu Minghai wanted to get Rexford kicked out. Not even the least bit ashamed that he was the one who attacked first and caused the ruckus.

"Sir, please show me your invitation." Manager Zhu asked Rexford. Seeing one was not provided as the "teen" before him just pulled out his phone and made a call, the manager snapped. "If you don't have an invitation, you will have to leave."

"Listen here, this guy is the one that caused all the problems!" Xu Rongfei gathered her wits and was trying to right the situation. A few people started agreeing and described what happened. "He even tried to forcefully take me away!"

"That is right!" Fang Qiong yelled. "You should have security throw him out for starting a fight!"

"Yeah, that's right!" The peanut gallery started getting rowdy. The manager was not willing to offend the son of his boss's friend.

"Enough from you all!" Manger Zhu shouted. Not even listening to them. He called for security on his walkie talkie but they were already coming over. "Ah, escort this ruffian out! Them to!" He pointed at those with Rexford.

"Well ok then." Rexford stopped anyone from saying anything more. He gave an evil smile to Chu Minghai though before moving to leave. "No reason to stay where I am not wanted."

"I can get you out of here with just a few words. What can you do about it?" Chu Minghai boasted.

"Lots of things." Rexford gave a full tooth evil smile as he stopped. "I could buy the building or the land itself. I can do a few reviews letting people know exactly how business is done here. I can make sure everything that the employees who work is published on the net or the news. Hell.. I can frame people or even just outright kill them."

Chu Minghai took a few steps back as he felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise up.

"The possibilities are absolutely endless. Hell, you are in decent shape." Rexford looked his body over some more. "I could gain a very decent amount of money for your organs. I doubt you do anything drugs so you would make decent blood to. So many ways to sell you!"

It wouldn't be the first Rexford did this nor would it be the last. Some people just were worth more as parts than as a single free person.

"You can't scare me! Just get the hell out already!" Chu Minghai was indeed very scared. The glowing gold of Rexford's eyes made him sweat and he was barely able to keep his breathing under control. "Security! Get him out of here!"

"Who dares try to get rid of my guest?" A strong voice carried in the dining area. Wei Ziqing walked out in a formal Chinese attire with her hair done in the typical ponytail as usual. She didn't have a pair of stupidly high heels on like most would with the clothing. Nice classy shoes were worn after Rexford explain how stupid it was for a fighter to have them in dangerous times. "Sorry I am late Master Mingyun."

She gave a respectful bow to Rexford. The security that was about to grab him backed up and put their heads down not wanting to be noticed.

"Your ladyship.. what are you doing here?" Manager Zhu almost stumbled his words. "I mean.."

"Why would I not be here?" Wei Ziging looked up and could already tell things were really bad. But Rexford didn't kill anyone so it was not to bad. "Master Mingyun is a guest of mine as well as a good friend of the Wei Family and business partner."

The onlooking guests were suprised by this. Her showing such respect was one thing, but him being a business partner of theirs was another altogether.

After finding everything that happened from one of he other guests, Wei Ziqing turned furious enough she wanted to break something. But unlike Rexford, she was more in control of herself.

"Hmm?" Rexford looked overseeing Chang Wen talking with Fang Qiong and An Yoya. 'Well, that is is just odd. If they hit it off, I am just giving up on understanding these rich types here.'

"Master Mingyun, how can we get over this matter peacefully?" Wei Ziqing wanted to put all on him instead of trying to guess how to appease him.

"Just, check your staff over more carefully. We should head to what you wanted me to see before the day turns late." Rexford was pulled from his thoughts by her question and just wanted to be done with this. "Oh, and ban that guy there from being able to come back. As well as that one and them over there."

"That I can do easily enough." Wei Ziqing gave a mental side at this. She thought it would be as bad as the second meeting they had. She turn to the manager with a little rage showing on her face. "I will speak to your boss regarding this matter personally. As for them, make sure security takes them out and make sure they are added to the ban list."

"Yes, mam!" Manager Zhu bowed his head repeatedly before leaving.

Security already taking away Si Yingxia. Chu Minghai was grabbed by security as well and did his best to pled his side. The guests watched in shock as security moved over to escort Li Yichan and his people out.

"Sister Ziqing!" Chu Minghai called out in anger.

"Where do you think you are?" Wei Ziqing signaled for security to let him go as she eyed him down. "You think I don't know what type of person you are? How you act around people?"

"It's him who tried to steal my girlfriend in the first place!" He pointed at Rexford accusing.

"I am not your girlfriend!" Xu Rongfei protested.

"Not even interested in her like that." Rexford said calmly while shrugging. "I mean, she alright to look at but no real substance man. And still a minor. Just wouldn't be right."

"The army made you belligerent and a fool. Not another word or I will have security throw you out." Wei Ziqing said. She was only talking to him out of a courtesy from the past they shared. "I will talk about this with Uncle Chu in person later."

"What did I miss?" Yang Chao came over eating a brownie. "No blood so things are ok." Ji Xingyu was with him not saying much.

"Haha, yes I suppose so." Rexford gave a little laugh. "Waiting for Wei Ziqing to finish up for we can go."

"Oh of course, let's go." Wei Ziqing was mindful of the timetable and was not willing to spend time on Chu anymore. "Do you have that package you wanted to show me?" As they moved, Rexford pulled out a small rectangular case. "These jewels... they are heavy!"

Inside were five different jewels created from the Black Gold Vortex.

"Umm, by Rexford." Chang Wen said. She shook her head feeling just a little bit off. "I still have his handkerchief." She gripped it tight not letting it go.

Fang Qiong and Xu Rongfei felt a little jealousy towards the other teen. Rexford has mostly shown them hostility when they were near him. They looked up to see Biao staring at them.

"I was asked to escort you all home if need be." Biao said cordially. "If you do not need my service, however, I understand."

"That will be fine." An Youya answered for them. She had a small plan in her head that she just had to try. "Chen Fan.. I mean Rexford was supposed to show us around his place. Can you bring us there for now?"

Biao not thinking anything of it really, lead the way to the vehicle. Considering how they were all just normal people he didn't see the harm. He did send a message to Rexford about it as they left the auction.

Chang Wen even left with them. Yang Chao, and Ji Xinguyu went with Rexford and Wei Ziqing.

"I am sure you know this, but Fang International is my 3rd uncle's company. I am sorry about what happened to your friend though." Wei Ziqing was trying to damage control as they moved. A member of the 3rd generation were given the jewels to have appraised and would get back to he about the decision on them. "Chu Minghai.. did he offend you in any way?"

"You should know me by now, what do you think?" Rexford cocked his head to the side looking her over. His eyes a little amorous. "That dress looks amazing on you by the way."

Yang Chao and Ji Xingyu gave each other a look. Both use to the banter between that seem to happen anytime Rexford was feeling a certain way. They kept quiet just listening.

"Rexford... does something need to be done about Chu Minghai really?" Wei Ziqing was only momentarily thrown off before focusing back on the real matter. "Are you wanting to kill him?" She asked over her shoulder.

"Hmm, always want to kind of do that. but I just wanted to gouge his eyes out really. There was just something about them that bugged me." Rexford gave her a smile like this was the most natural thing to say. "But.. not that big of a deal to leave him be. Yang Chao can deal with him if need be."

"Me?" Yang Chao was suprised a little. "You want me to gouge his eyes out?!"

"Umm no.. that would be weird. You are not an eye gouger. I was just saying beat him up a little." Rexford pinched his hands towards the shocked teen. "You roll with me but you are not a killer. Ot a gangster, that would just be rude to ask you to do that."

"I am safe from doing that to right?" Ji Xingyu wanted clarification. He received a head nod for an answer. "Phew, that's good."

Wei Ziqing made a mental note to look really hard into the matter regarding what happened. It seemed to revolve around the girl Xu Rongfei. But by the sounds of it, she and Rexford were not close at all.

They stopped meeting up with an old man. "This is uncle Lin. He will lead us to the final area of the Exhibition Hall." Wei Ziqing respectfully introduced him.

"Thank you, my lady. This way please." Lin gestured for them to follow along. He watched Rexford keep his demeanor without any issue. Yang Chao carried a young rich person's aura with a little bit of excessive pride in themself. Ji Xingyu on the other hand gave him a weird feeling overall. 'Who are these youths really?'

In the room were four nice items of note. The others didn't carry a single bit of qi or the impressions of the Way in them.

"These items are from all over the world. Collected by 3rd Master Wei." Lin said respectfully as if the items were his own. "This is the Heart of the Blue Diamond Sky from South Africa. People say it can bring good luck to the wearer."

The large diamond had a strange feeling about it. Black Qi swirled around in the inside undetectable by regular people. Cultivators would just see only small things different from it.

"This is a Jade found in the tomb of a Noble from the Han Dynasty." Lin pointed at a small Jade necklace. It was just large enough to apply a few protection on it. "Next we have the Ancient Compass Belonging to a Feng Shui Master of the Ming and Qing Dynasties."

The item was not in good condition but contained a type of draw that could help one find a decent area in a room.

"The Ancient Compass.. it feels dangerous to me." Ji Xingyu said. He moved closer then stopped about 5 feet away. Placing his hands togethor, he started to give a chant a little. "Reveal to me what I seek..."

"Don't mind him, he is training really." Rexford answered. "That Blue Sky Diamond, what do you think Yang Chao?"

"I think it can help with my bones but... not by much."

"Very well then." Rexford wiggled his finger taking the black qi from inside. Lin didn't notice a thing but Wei Ziqing did. She didn't say anything about it though. "Any more items you wish to show us?"

"Of course, follow me." Lin was happy they were a little impressed but thought nothing really of the muttering of Ji Xingyu. If Wei Ziqging didn't stop anything then it must be ok. 'This next one will really surprise them.'
