Chapter 25 : After seven years

In the blue sky just a few specks of gray in the evening of a beautiful day. Though last night it rained and more rain on the way. And the more rain is needed that would be fair to say. Spring it is with us and summer is near and beautiful weather for the time of year. Such beauty the poets and the artists inspire of talking of nature could one ever tire. Her green of September mother nature wear and the perfume of blossoms in the evening air.

Wind chimes.

" Welcome."

The florist welcome the guest with a smile. Through the door, with those wide shoulders, a formal gentleman dress, a short blonde hair cut off perfectly, beautiful golden eyes, enter it with his one hand being put into the pocket. More enough to make everyone to fall for him.

" Can you make a beautiful bouquets?": said Angus, sweet and deep voice which can't be denied to hear it with those smile.

" Yeah. Is it for your girlfriend?. You want sunflower?. I think it will suit it more.": said the florist as she bring out some sunflower.

" No, no. I don't have one. Girlfriend. It's for my mother.": said Angus as he get his eyes struck with sunflower. Remembering those beautiful smile of Shine Dilbung, the time when he give her a sunflower bouquet. He can't denied the summer season hit the most hardly from all those other seasons.

Bumped!

A three years girl child bumped at the Angus leg. The surprise bring him back from his memory.

" Oh!. Are you alright?.": Angus held up the child and check if she get hurt.

" Sorry, uncle.": the small girl said with a weepy eyes.

Being called uncle hit Angus with a lightening struck. But he can't denied the cute girl.

"I'm sorry. Are you okay Mr?": said the florist as she learn the situation and hold up the baby into her arms.

" Yeah. Such a sweet child. Is she your.....": before Angus could finish his words. The baby girl cried out calling ' Mama' with those cheeky smile on her face. The cried make him to look back at the person who is entering at the florist shop, making those wind chimes rings it hard.

Stunned!

" Mama" ( child laughter)

The one who the baby run up, Angus can't be that surprise seeing the mother. It's Shine Dilbung after all those seven years. He can't believe what he have countered their. The time stop their for moment seeing the child running up and Dilbung embracing the baby with those brightest smile.

His whole body freeze up. He wanna called her name out but he hold up all his emotion and pay for the bouquet and left the place. While Dilbung chitter chatter with her daughter without paying much attention.

He can't walk out that far, he feel his leg stop without his will. He feel his body get all up with goose bump, thinking how he can't get over with his unrequited love and yet seeing her after all those many decades with her daughter. He can't hide his shaken up body who is about to cry in a zero second. He lost all his strength to meet up with her again.

The once dream, the once regret, everything rose up to Angus. He can't stop his emotion, drinking all those drinks in those early afternoon. Looking at the old summer pics of highschool which he have always carry to his pocket.

Ring~

" Yeah. You fool, where are you now?. We are waiting for you. Din't you know that mom is gonna make a discharge now?.": Andie shout to Angus through the phone. Who is failed to show up.

" Ummm~": said Angus with a deep sigh.

When Angus back to home, Andie can smell a wrecking alcohol smell from him. She have never seen her brother drinking that heavy.

" Hmm~ my beloved sister. Please give it this to my mother. I love you sister.": said Angus with a faintly smile, giving the bouquet yet started to cry out with those smile.

Andie says nothing but embrace his brother. She neither asked a question nor angry. It's just the silent moment between them yet feel a heavy soul.

Home.

" We are home.": said Dilbung, as she take off her shoes while letting the baby go inside.

" Oh!. You back. My babe cutie Hazel.": Elias welcome them while he hold the baby into his arms with those beautiful smile, rubbing his nose onto the baby Hazel nose.

" Hazel love papa, love papa, Hazel": cried Hazel with a cheeky smile.

" I'm tired. I will rest a bit. Brother can you look after Hazel today I have morning duty tomorrow from 3 am.": said Dilbung as she walk into her room after she give a cheek kiss for Hazel.

" Okay, take rest.": replied Elias. " Hazel, did you want papa to play with you?": said Elias as he take out Hazel into his arms to play at the cottage.

Now Dilbung work as surgeon doctor. She still lives with Elias and aunt Tete. She become more extrovert after she encounter those patient and friends that she made over the years.

Looking over her drawer, taking the hair clip once Angus has given her. It become a little bit dim from the way it have first brought but Shine Dilbung still treasure all those summer season memory she have spent with them.
