Chapter Four: A Brief Interpause

"Kacchan! Are you almost ready!?" Deku yells from his driveway. "Give me a goddamn minute Deku!" Katsuki carries his luggage out to the car. "I can't believe you two are going to college." Inku wipes her eyes. Mitsuki walks up and smacks Inku on the back. "Calm down Inku, They'll be back." She pauses and looks at the boys. "You will be back, won't you?" She frowns. "Of course we'll be back ma." Katsuki rolls his eyes and throws his luggage into the back of the car. Mitsuki smacks the back of Katsuki's head. "Don't roll your eyes at my sir! You technically still live under my roof until you walk into your new dorm!" She hisses. Midoriya and Inko laugh and gather up everything into the car. "Drive safe!" Inku waves as they drive off. "Don't let Katsuki drive!" Mitsuki yells at the car as Midoriya laughs in the drivers seat.

"Are you really that bad of a driver Kacchan?" Midoriya looks over at Katsuki, who is looking out the window at the rolling...buildings. "No, she just over exaggerates because I once ran over 3 cats, 2 trash cans, and hit a parked car." He sighs. "She is too much, it's not like I killed anyone." Midoriya turns his focus back to the road, trying his best to ignore where Katsuki said he ran over cats. "Y-Yeah, I don't know either." He scoffs and continues to drive.

"Hi! Welcome to Everlight Academy! My name is Rachel, I will show you to your dorm. I can't go in because, y'know. I'm a girl, but I can escort you to our head of the male dorm, Hitoshi. If you would just follow me!" Rachel leads Katsuki and Midoriya to a large building with a purple-haired male standing out front. "Hey!~ Hitoshi, I have more kids for you!" Rachel waves as they get closer. "Oh great, more kids who think they're extra special because they got picked." Hitoshi rolls his eyes. "Names please." Hitoshi pulls out a clipboard. "Katsuki Bakugou and Izuku Midoriya." Katsuki speaks up. Hitoshi points. "I found you, but you aren't in the same dorm. Looks like they placed you with new kids. Uh... Bakugou you are with Hanta Sero. And Midoriya you are with Tenya Iida." Hitoshi hands both of them their keys and a map. "Have fun, now leave." Hitoshi looks at Katsuki. "What if we need help." Katsuki stares into Hitoshi's eyes. "Then you read the map, dingbat." Hitoshi sits back down at his table. Katsuki rolls his eyes and starts walking off to the building, with Midoriya trailing behind him.

"I thought we would share a dorm, this is really disappointing, Deku," Katsuki says once alone inside the building. "I know Kacchan, but this gives us a chance at making new friends. Since I appear to be your only friend." Midoriya laughs. "Hey! That's not funny! I just don't like people." Katsuki puffs and turns the corner. "Then to start maybe go into your room and greet Sero." Midoriya points at a door. "Ugh, fine. But if I don't like him I'm going to request a change." Katsuki jingles with his keys. "Bye Kacchan." Midoriya unlocks the door across from Katsuki's and walks inside. Closing it behind him. 'Start liking people. What a joke...' Katsuki closes the door after walking in and looks around at his dorm. "Hey! You must be Katsuki Bakugou!" A boy jumps down from the top bunk and extends his hand. "Hanta Sero, I hope you don't mind that I took the top bunk." Katsuki hesitates but shakes his hand. "I don't really mind. I don't really care either." Katsuki walks over to the bottom bunk and sits down. "So, now that you're here we can start splitting stuff and organizing. I thought that you would want your own desk, and I could have my own desk so that we don't get mixed up and so that we don't lose our homework. They in the kitchen, I don't know if you like to cook, but I don't so I have a lot of appliances that could be placed down. I didn't though! Because I still don't know if you can or like to cook yet. But I was also thinking--" 'Does this dude ever shut up-' Katsuki thought to himself. "So, what do you think?" Sero plops down on the ground in front of Katsuki. "Uh, sounds great. We can go over it tomorrow." Katsuki lays down. "I'm tired." Sero jumps up. "But it's only 7 at night! Plus, we have a freshmen introduction party tonight!" Sero whines. "Then wake me up when it's time for it. But, don't expect me to go." Katsuki rolls over and faces the wall. "Okay, sweet dreams Bakugou." Sero waves and leaves the room. 'It's going to be a long 4 years of college' Katsuki thought to himself before drifting off to sleep.
