Chapter 3: Shadow army Deploy!

While sitting deathly high in the air I just decide to check my inventory and organize my System a bit better. also first and foremost speak with my Semi-Sentient Symbiote.

"Hey, yo! Symbiote, show yourself" I say and a small head with two glowing Purple eyes and sinister white teeth appears from my shoulder.

"What is that you require? Master!" The symbiote says almost as if I'm its god.

"Do you have a name?" I say casually

"This lowly one does not," The symbiote says while lowering its head.

"cut that crap, Symbiotic relationship, So you help me survive All that shit, if I die you die, we are in this together, So call me Alucard and don't go with the whole "master" it's kinda cringe. and since you don't have a name. let's go with Umbra. It's Latin for shadow. and it's a Unisex name so you can choose any gender you want." I rant for a bit. and then sigh.

"Umbra… I like it. Also, symbiotes have no gender. but I do believe that my host would prefer me to be Female. So you can call me she" The symbiote's features softened and it looked more cute than menacing.

I just gave it a few Headpats. you can never have enough of those.

"Ok, Miss Umbra. You got one job and one job only Follow my instructions. Right now no head eating, and no killing or permanently maiming anyone unless I order you to go into Killing or Cripling mode, then it's allowed. for now just KO or restrain without permanent or long-lasting damage. Also, the main objective is survival " I finish instructing Umbra while caressing her head as if she was a cat.

"All right let's go inventory" I just summon the inventory at will and check everything I got.

▪ Type: Dagger

▪ Attack +1500

▪ A pair of beautiful daggers forged from the fang of the

dragon Kamish. They are mana-sensitive, meaning that their

power aligns with their user's strength stat, and also allow

their user to alter their weight however they please.

Endless Flask of Holy Water of Life:

▪ Type: Consumable

▪ Will heal any and every illness. It is a divine potion filled with

powerful magic to cure every sickness.

Cup of Reincarnation:

▪ Rarity: ??

▪ Type: Magic Item.

▪ The Cup of Reincarnation allows its user to rewind time in

their current universe. Additionally, it can carry with its user

anything that did not exist at the chosen time. The user and

those who travel with them will retain their memories from

the future they leave.

▪ This one, unlike the original one, can be used as many as

you want.

Summoning Card:

▪Type: Consumable

▪ Place this card anywhere and your Chosen Companion of the Essence of the Elder Blood will appear with Its chosen Appearance and All of the selected perks.

I retrieve the Summoning card and place it on the metal right next to me

"Summon!" I just say and a small golden silhouette of Cirilla appears in front of me

"hugh!?" she says and immediately grabs onto me "asshole! Why summon me here of all places? Want me to have a heart attack?" she says while pouting cutely while giving me a light punch to the arm.

I just chuckle warmly "Here here" I hug her and cress her back reassuring her, she leans in and hugs me back.

Shit, this feels rather nice. when was the last time I had a Warm hug?

"Isn't it pretty?" I knew NYC was a shit hole but still, the city during nighttime was quite the sight.

"It's really nice," She says while still leaning into the hug.

"all right. Umbra, give her a Symbiote on the same level that Venom and Carnage are" I say and black and purple goo transfers from me and covers Cirilla, changing the color to white and green resembling her hair and eye color.

"what is this?" she says as she looks over her new companion covering her.

"that will keep you safe, well safer than before," I say as I give her a kiss on the forehead. She blushes and looks away.

"*cough* Alright. Shadow army." I say towards my shadow where all of my shadows are stored. "Spread through the city, do not get caught, survey, if you see any crime being committed beat the culprit, do not kill, and alert the authorities. Igris, you and your knights and mages are responsible for this."

Igris manifested its head and nodded.

" Everyone else stays dispersed throughout the city in clusters ready to deploy at any time's notice, also report to me if you find anyone with powers but do not interfere in that case unless there will be casualties, stay safe and protect bystanders, help with the evacuation. Kaisel, stay in Ciri's shadow, Kamish stays in mine, Greed, Iron, and Beru go to Ciri's and protect her, and Bellion stays in my shadow and don't interfere unless Ciri or I'm in danger or we tell you otherwise. now deploy shadows." I see how innumerable shadows start to crawl away quickly. This will be fun. I think as I just grin.

I pick up Cirilla in a princess carry and leave the Bridge towards Brooklyn.

After some time we land in a back alley and I disengage stealth.

"Humm we need some cash…" All right, fuck it. I know what I can do.

"Gacha" I just murmur.

Gacha function: Every month, you receive 1 gacha, which you can exchange

into one of the below.

▪ Random Box: Gives you something random. Works similarly to a Gamer's

Gacha, and can give you anything across the entire Omniverse.

(Does not give you corns of sand or anything useless like that,

but can give Beings, artifacts, or anything that can be useful or

be found interesting).

It might be a waste but I don't really care so I select the Blessed box and open it. While wishing for it to give me a Landing Briefcase with all the necessary documents for Cirilla and me plus 100k in cash.

The "starter briefcase" appears in my inventory and I smile.

"Let's get us a place to stay My ashen-haired beauty," I say in a husky voice while kissing Ciri on the side of the head.

she pushes me and looks away but I can see her blushing.

Something comes to mind while we are just walking around like a couple.

"Beru, Sneak out and try Flying around the East Coast, there should be an enormous ship in the sky, it has some kind of camouflage so stay high in the air and spot it. when you localize it, sneak in and inform me of what is going on. " Since it's 2012 avengers should be starting. while I could just stay in Manhattan and just chill until the Chitaury come, I would rather know if they got Loki or not,

Also, I will need to make a few weapons against the Inheritors. Not that I care much, but me being another Spider Token, mixed with Spider Gwen, and god knows how many more random tokens here and there, well those Energy vampires are bound to come sooner or later. if I'm not mistaken they are weak Against Radiation. weaponized carbonidium, Radiation guns, and any kind of way to poison those cunts. Would probably need to find a way to trap them in this world, and shackle their souls so they don't just go back and get a new cloned body.

I just hum as we walk, here and there Shadows would send me information about random crimes they stopped.

"Today is a good day," I say as we enter a subway station.

While we could just jump, fly or just travel any way we want I still want Ciri to experience the whole NYC subway circus and its creatures that call themselves Commuters.
