Freedom's Rest

After banishing the Devil Empress to her own universe, I came to a realization that I must find the whereabouts of the Well of Samsara to fulfill the promise I made to the Azure Dragon.

I then spread my divine senses across the primal chaos to find the Dragon God's realm, which holds the well of Samsara. And as soon as I find it, I simply portal over to the well, as I am virtually invisible to almost everyone's senses.

After entering the forbidden land of Samsara, I locate the well at the center of a vast emptiness that is nothing but flat land and mountains as far as the eye can see.

As I gaze into the I, I feel my domains expanding further as I begin to evolve and adapt past the need for me to even enter Samsara as I become immortal in both soul and body.

"Now, all that remains is to find something to fortify my mind to become something more, as I will be one step closer to the formless realm and one step closer to becoming a higher existence".

While scanning the well of Samsara to create something similar to it, Emilio discovers an anomaly.

The well is holding an ancestral Punishing sword between Samsara and the waking world. As he reaches his hand into the well, he uses his dimensional manipulation and ability to manipulate reality to pull the sword from the well, which holds the Dragon Goddess.

As if lifting Excalibur from the stone, Emilio pulls back with confidence. He lifts the ancestral punishing sword from its confines and, in doing so, releases the dragon goddess, whose body is then unconscious on the ground.

Emilio then returns both himself and Shen Xi to freedom's rest as he believes that master and student should meet while also mentally connecting himself to Hong'er .

"Who is this who has intruded upon my mind?" The girl growls, with Emilio then responding, "It's me. Emilio, the God of freedom, and I have a friend you want to meet".

Emilio then opens a portal next to Hong'er and she soon exits, and as she sees her old friend on the ground, she rushes to her and asks Emilio hurriedly.

"Lord Emilio, where were you able to find her? From the rumors I had heard, I was told she had perished long ago, absorbed by the well of Samsara".

Emilio responded by saying "The rumors were correct, but she was not dead; she was simply stuck in the well sealed by this sword". As Emilio pulled out the ancestral punishing sword.

The Goddess, then taking her friend into her arms, jumps away as the mere presence of the sword terrifies her, as that was a sword that could cut entire universes asunder, and many divine beings have fallen to its heavenly steel.

Emilio reassures, "Don't worry, the sword won't harm you under my watch," before returning a stern glare. The Goddess then demonstrates her mastery over the elements by conjuring a makeshift bed.

Emilio then contacts his wife, and the Goddess of Life soon answers as she steps through a portal and finds two old friends. She rushes to hug them both, with the one still awake, trying to pry the goddess off of her.

Shen Xi then awakens and finds herself in the company of strangers as she immediately readies herself for battle.

But as she looks around, she sees her old friend and her old master, and before falling to the ground, she is caught by the two, with Emilio then saying.

"Peace, Dragon Goddess, You're in the company of friends, and I believe you have always wanted to meet your teacher and your old friend, so I'm going to leave you all alone for now, along with a special guest".

Emilio then calls upon the Azure Dragon God, and Long Yin answers. As his form appears through the portal, and as he sees his daughter, he bows to Emilio.

The dragon then says in its booming, divine voice, "I thank you. Lord Emilio, the God of freedom, for fulfilling your promise. And as stated before, our contract is clear. You are now the new owner of that accursed sword, which has seemingly found you worthy".

Emilio then smiles and says with a snarky tone, "Was it ever in doubt?".

With the dragon doing its best to smile while retaining its serious nature? And as Emilio walks away, he hears very loud crying as old friends and family meet. Once again.

But as we leave that scene, we find Emilio sitting in the middle of his cultivation room yet again but then surrounded by multiple heavenly artifacts.

While the Eternal Heaven Pearl and the Sky Poison Pearl have combined into one. All that is left is to combine the World Piercer as well as the Evil Myriad tribulation Wheel along with the Ancestral Punishing Sword to form the ultimate weapon, at least in this universe.

Although soon enough, the World Piercer, and the Primordial Seal of Life and Death, begin to combine with the Ancestral Punishing Sword to form something beautiful.

And soon, the full form of the sword is revealed, which, to be honest, reminds him of the Blade of Olympus from the God of War games.

The sword itself emanates a primordial power that seems to rend universes with one slash if unleashed at its full power. And in Emilio's hands, it is even deadlier.

Emilio feels ecstatic as he not only possesses the incredible powers of the sword, but also has the ability to travel through space and time with a mere slash of the weapon.

Additionally, with the primordial seal of life and death, he can activate the battle formation of eternal life, granting him invincibility while simultaneously draining the life force of his nearby opponents.

Then quoting a certain business man, Emilio says "This Sword is good, but it could be better". He then places it in his inventory and amps it by 100 times.

And as he pulls out the sword, the whole realm shakes and trembles at its mere presence. But soon, Emilio can get it under control, but even Emilio feels a bit of fear. "Would this sword make most higher-dimensional beings quake in its mere presence?".

Emilio glances at the mirror of Samsara dangling from his neck. He thinks it's best to give one of the copies to his wife as a protective measure.

With the mirror, he can decide where she reincarnates in his dimension and even reconstruct her body if the need arises.

After losing all their wealth and royal family, including the Princess who died with her father in an attack by multiple high kings, Emilio smiles upon a grateful universe as the Brahma Monarch realm crumbles.

In addition to feeling the satisfaction that Jasmine shall never have to feel the pain of losing her family, while no family in a cultivation world is perfect nor pure, hers is one of the best, even if a bit eccentric.

Honestly, although many might suggest that he should govern this universe, it is not his desire.

While he reigns over the multiple kingdoms in his own dimension, the citizens there and his other mental connections largely operate it, given that he can be present in several locations simultaneously.

"Although, I do feel bad for the copy of me that deals with the Devil Empress, as she is stubborn". Emilio says in a pitying voice, as the copy he left with her is continuously seduced or at least being affected by her attempts at seduction.

But he knows when to replace a copy with another when one begins to fall. Because even though his willpower is infinite, there shall always be that pole towards sticking it in crazy.

"Now where to next?", as Emilio stares at the infinite multiverse that unfolds before him.
