Daring

"Lily! You are really daring! It seems like..." he started to tease her.

"No! No! Please! Please!" she moaned but it didn't aid her. After a few seconds, she calmed a bit. "Eiden!" she somehow managed to shout in a low tone. She turned at him and looked into his eyes bringing her arms to his chest, placing her hands on his chest as a barrier for him from getting near her.

Looking at her roasted cheeks, Eiden burst into laughter. "What? Now you forget everything!" he teased her with a low tone.

"I didn't but what you did was very distracting!" she claimed but looking at his eyes she understood the meaning. "Did... Did you aim to distract me?"

He shrugged his shoulders, "if you cry" he answered.

Somehow after feeling embarrassed, even his scent was enough for her to turn on but for some reason she controlled herself. "Anyhow, I won't be an esper now. I am quite content with this outcome. Although, it was somewhat painful. I gained what I ought to. Eiden... I was so scared to go there without you." she sighed, looked at him, and spoke her heart contents.

Seeing Eiden attentively listening to her she felt her heart was warm with love but she continued speaking and at last, she finished lamenting.

She looked at Eiden and noticed something, as if he could understand what she wanted to ask, "Lily, you have to be careful in the following days," he said.

"What? Why? But I am not an esper now. Why should they come to me?" she was quite annoyed and also a little scared now.

"Do you think they will reason with that? Didn't you, a newbie hit many people with minimal effort? Who is going to pay a debt for that?"

Her body became stiff and numb when she heard his words. She wanted to cry for a second but her situation is not something very easy. Corners of her lips twitched and her body started to trumble slightly.

Eiden placed his hands on her and ensured he is there for her.

I should plan for something or else I can never have a peaceful life in the answer. I can do nothing other than looking at Eiden for help. He left a short laugh and started to tease me, but... but, it was quite good.

The closing eyes of Eiden suddenly snap open. What's wrong?

'Footsteps?'

Suddenly the door was kicked open and a few figures appeared in the room. Hearing the sound Lily jolted from her sleep and started to look around her, as she suddenly remembered something.

Realizing she was covered by a blanket, she sighed but she felt an aura similar to the killing aura. "What are you people doing in my room?"

"Fight with me!" a young youth declared.

"I can't right now," she declared as she was sitting on the bed covering herself with the blanket.

A grin hung on the corners of his lips. He slightly walked in and snorted at me. I looked at him with a heavy heart because this figure was once a sibling like a person to me.

He slightly bends his body to rest his hands on the corner of the bed. In fact, his palm landed on the corner of the sheet Lily used to cover her body. In the split second, he pulled out the blanket from her with an evil grin and a sinister look.
