Escaping My Reality - Episode 6

If this guy is the one I'll marry, I'll close our shop down and declare bankruptcy immediately.

But he looks familiar though. Did I meet him before? My past and current memories are tangled in my mind right now.

Edward the Butler walks by and welcomes the lady.

"My lady, welcome back. I'll prepare your dinner immediately."

Ohh shoot.. did I stare for far too long? It must've been awkward.

"Ohh.. thank you, sorry for my rudeness. Sir, may I ask your name?."

He grabs the hand of Serlina and kisses it.

"I'm Aizen Harion son of Duke Gerald Ed Harion."

Serlina froze again in a state of shock.

What in the actual f*ck, I surrender completely.

But one should not be deceived simply by its looks, and here I am completely deceived by him.

"I'm Serlina Casidy, It's nice to meet you."

"So it's true, that you lost your memories as your brother said."

"Ye- Yes.." she said while panicking in her mind.

What is happening to me? Why does my heart suddenly ache? I feel like I want to cry.

"Since it's late I have to go now, so you can rest My Lady"

"Okay, have a safe travel"

Aizen left and Serlina went to the study room to talk to her brother regarding the incident in the production.

Serlina enters the study hall and she sees her brother busy writing and reading on his table while sitting.

"Why do you have to talk to me now?" Connor Asked.

Serlina sat down on the sofa near the table.

"I'm here to report to you what happened in our shop and production."

Connor stopped what he was doing and put down the quill pen.

"Go on."

Serlina explained what happened that day, what their business was lacking, and the problem.

As Connor listens to Serlina, he's trying to hide his irritation.

"I'll hand you, Arthur, you'll decide what you should do to him," Serlina said.

"Okay, you did a lot of work today so you should rest now."What… did something happen to him while I was away for a few hours? No reaction at all huh?

Serlina stood up.

"Okay, then I shall take a rest now brother."

As soon as Serlina left, Connor hit the table with his fist.

How did she know the problem in the business right away? It's only been a day!

For a person without any business knowledge, and the fact she's been in this mansion most of her time. How?

He grins his teeth while questioning what just happened.

"Edward"

"Yes, Master?"

"Bring Arthur to the Basement, I'll handle him myself"

While soaking her body in a bathtub she wonders why she feels strange

What just happened? Why did I feel sad and there's a pain in my heart?

Just by thinking of him, I want to cry.

She stared at herself in the water while trying to regain her memories.

As she's reading the Diary, she suddenly feels the tension headache again and starts to feel dizzy.

A memory flashback in her mind.

It's a sunny day and she's having tea in the garden, she looks happy because she received news that Aizen will be visiting their mansion for the first time.

I'm looking forward to this day, How do I look? Should I change my clothes? I wonder if Aizen still remembers me when I first met him at the Banquet. Even though we didn't talk much in our first interaction, I feel like I want to know him better. I can't seem to forget that interaction.

It was the Banquet for the Princess and we were invited. Everyone looked fancy and there was a lot of talking in the crowd that I couldn't understand, the sound of music still lingering in my ears, I didn't know what should I do in that place because I couldn't get used to it, so I just grab a plate of strawberry cake and I walk to the Balcony where I could see the wide garden full of flowers. It's a beautiful scenery.

As I'm eating my cake like I'm sneaking in our kitchen while staring at the garden.

Aizen suddenly appeared and I got flustered, and because of that, I dropped the cake.

"Ohh noooo.. My cake!"

Serlina's face is about to cry.

"I'm sorry, I'll get you a new one"

Aizen said with a worried face and a gentle voice.

When he's about to leave to get her a new slice of cake, she stops him.

"No, It's fine. I'm almost finished eating it anyway"

She smiles at him

The maid enters to clean the mess.

"I'll buy you a whole cake instead of a slice, for the mess I made."

as he said with an embarrassed look on his face.

"You don't really have to."

"I insist, May I know your name, My lady?"

"I'm Serlina Casidy, Second Daughter of Count Hector Theo Casidy."

He grabs the hand of Serlina and kisses it.

"Nice to meet you, My lady. I'm Aizen Harion Son of Duke Gerald Ed Harion"

She can't believe that he's the son of the Duke, because there's no similarity between Aizen and his father.

Maybe just the eyes?

"It's nice to meet you as well, My lord. I must apologize for the mess it's my fault anyway so no need to buy me a cake".

I was captivated by your handsomeness but it's still my fault.

"Alright, Are you waiting for someone? Maybe I bother you too muc-"

"N-No, I'm not waiting for someone. I just simply enjoying the view of the gard--."

While she's talking he notices that she got a small frosting on her cheeks.

He wipes it with his hands and she gets flustered and turns away.

"Ohh I'm sorry, I can't help but notice you have frosting on your cheeks"

He blushed.

"I-It's fine--."

She can't show the redness on her face that's why she turns away.

A guard suddenly walks by, interrupting their conversation, and whispers to Aizen.

"I would like to talk to you more, but it seems that my father is looking for me."

She faces him with a disappointing look on her face.

"Ohh it's fine, I guess maybe we can talk again later?"

"I'll look for you, My lady. I shall take my leave then."

Aizen left and Serlina still processing what just happened.

Larissa the maid, is looking for her.

"My lady, Lord Aizen is about to arrive in the mansion."

She hurriedly goes to the entrance of their mansion and waits for him to arrive.

When Aizen arrives at the entrance he looks dashing with a grey Victorian coat, black vest with a white polo shirt underneath, and black pants.

"Welcome to the Casidy Mansion, Lord Aiz-"

Aizen coldly ignores the warm greetings of Serlina and walks away with the butler.

Serlina is in a state of questioning what just happened.

What just happened? Did I say something wrong? Or Maybe he's in a rush?

Ever since his first visit to the mansion, Aizen ignores Serlina as if her existence is not important. She regained the memories of pain and suffering, the look in his eyes every time she tried to approach him, the letters that she sent for him and got returned because he refused to read them. All the feelings of sorrow, sadness, frustration, and loneliness came back to her.

Serlina's headache stops and regains her consciousness but she's still breathing heavily.

It hurts.. It hurts so much. Why is he like that? It's so much pain and I can't stop crying.

When she calmed herself down.

Just to think of it most of my relationship is like this, It was happy at first, with all the flirts, efforts, and sweetness in the beginning but as time goes by it will lead to fights, effortlessness, and bitterness in the end. Sadness will take over and you'll be left alone with the pain. It's happening over and over but I just don't get why he's like that? We just met one time.

I shouldn't let that guy ruin me and cost me more pain. I can't seem to remove this feeling but I'll control it until it's gone.

She falls asleep crying and wakes up in the morning, she calls for Larissa.

"Larissa, can you get me water please?"

Her eyes are still not wide open.

I feel dizzy from all the crying last night, I still have to prepare to go to the other location which is far, and send a message to Xavier. Hmm.. Why is Larissa still not here? Maybe she's busy I'll just get my water instead, I'm not a spoiled brat anyway.

When she sits on the side of the bed and notices that her feet reach the floor.

Did I get taller? Or someone chop the bed in half?

When she fully widens her eyes.

"AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"Where am I?!"
