The Final Battle 1

Aria walked into the kingdom and looked around. It looked like a complete wasteland. She stopped by some buildings and saw dead bodies on the ground. They weren't stabbed nor shot..she walked to one body and pushed the body around.

"Drained and choked to death.." Aria closed her eyes and stood up. She walked out the building then opened her eyes and saw a little girl holding a doll, crying.

"M-Mama...Papa.." The little girl cried.

Aria looked at her and crouched down and hugged her. The girl hugged back and Aria held back her tears and held the girl's head close to her. A girl at a very young age, now orphaned because of Omu. Aria let the girl go and held her shoulders.

"Let's get out of-" She paused and heard foot steps and looked back. A knight in black armor stood before them.

"P-Please help me..! H-He killed mama and papa! My friends!" The girl cried out traumatized.

Aria stood up and her heart thumped. She did not tolerate the killing of innocent people especially kids. The knight took a step closer and the girl screamed and fell down. Aria's body shook in hatred and rage.

"Omu knows of your presence..it would be wise for you to retreat." The knight said.

Aria slowly withdrew her blade then the knight grunted feeling intense heat coming from Aria. She exhaled and steam came from her mouth.

"I will kill you where you stand..hurting all of these innocent people..is unforgivable..!" Aria said and her flames slowly appeared and circled around Aria.

The little girl ran off and hid somewhere. The knight summoned his sword and got in a stance. Omu watched from his balcony. He studied Aria closely.

"All of these people..suffered in the hands of that tyrant..you killed countless people..! I will not stand for this!" Aria bellowed and her voice echoed.

The little girl watched Aria and was scared. The knight dashed to Aria and slashed. Aria's eyes emitted blue flames and her body shined. Omu and the Knight were surprised.

"Ultimate Skill: Phoenix Crescent Flash!" Aria bellowed and slashed.

The strike happened faster than the knight could see. Aria slid the blade back in the scabbard and the knight fell to his knees and face first. Aria wasn't finished. She walked to the knight and went for the killing stab then a hand caught her arm. Her eyes were empty and lifeless. She looked at the person and was shocked.

"B-Big...Brother..?" Aria said.

"Aria..do not lose sight of who you are...Do not fall to the levels of this knight you see before you..killing him will not bring anyone back..plus he is going to die anyway.." Astros said. "You are the light of Genten..The Master of Light and Hope...Do not lose sight of that..do not fall into deep hatred at all..and remember this..I will always love you."

Aria went to hug him, but he slowly vanished into nothingness and Aria fell to her knees. The little girl walked to Aria, timidly. She wiped Aria's tears with her hands. Aria looked at the girl and gently pat her head.

"What's your name..?" Aria asked.

"Paulla." The girl said.

"How old are you?" Aria looked at her.

"I am only 10.." Paulla answered.

Aria gently held her cheeks and kissed her forehead. Paulla closed her eyes and blushed a little. Aria stood up.

"Lilttle Paulla..run far away from this kingdom.." Aria said.

"But- But what about you?" Paulla asked, worried.

"Do not worry..I will return after I settle matters here." Aria looked at Paulla and smiled.

Paulla saw her mother within Aria and sniffled. Aria rubbed her head and told her it'll be alright. Paulla silently cried then Aria gave her the final Phoenix Feather she had.

"If I don't make it out..this is my gift from me.." Aria walked off.

Paulla looked at the feather and cried more then ran off. It broke Aria's heart but she had to push forward. Omu walked inside the castle and into the throne room. Aria stepped up to the castle and saw a huge tower behind it.

"There has to be a core in there..destroying it will release a huge energy explosion..destroying the tower..and all of Lem.." Aria said.

Aria walked up the stairs and inside the castle. Omu sat on his throne and waited.

"This battle.." Aria said.

"This battle.." Omu started.

"Will decide the fate of Genten." They both said.

After a few minutes of walking, Aria felt immeasurable amounts of dark aura coming from the throne room. She opened the doors of the throne room and saw Omu for the first time.

"Well..It is about time..Aria. I was waiting for this moment..meet your final resting place." Omu grinned.

"This ends here Omu..this is where you die!" Aria yelled.

Omu looked at Aria and chuckled and laughed. He held his head and laughed like a maniac. He stood up and looked at Aria. Aria glared at Omu.

"Come at me with everything you've got then..Show me your conviction to kill me!" Omu said.

Aria drew her blade and threw the scabbard aside. She dashed to Omu and went for a slash. Omu held his hand out and released a dark repulsive force and blew Aria away and walked to her. Aria hit her back against a pillar and groaned. Omu grabbed her hair and slammed her face against the ground and threw her to a wall. Aria hit her back against the wall and coughed then fell to her knees.

Meanwhile in Valora, everyone was watching the battle from a magic screen No set up. Uchi was super worried then heard crying from outside. She got up and walked outside then saw Paulla and gasped then took her in. Everyone looked back and saw Paulla.

"Who is she?" Nō asked.

"I don't know.." Uchi said.

"She said she might not make it.." Paulla cried and held up a Phoenix feather.

Uchi looked at the feather and walked back to the group. She looked at the screen and her heart was racing.

"Like I said..her chance of winning is less than 7%. She knows the truth now about Omu.." Tadakatsu said.

"Truth..?" Nō asked.

"When he is in dragon form..His Thunder Element is replaced with the dragon elememt." Ranmaru said.

"Why didn't anyone tell her?!" Ina said.

The room was silent and Uchi was extremely scared. She didn't want to lose Aria at all. Paulla held onto Uchi.

"Don't you see Aria? You have no chance against me!" Omu went for a punch and Aria caught his fist.

"The odds are stacked against me..I am aware..but I will not lose to you!" Aria bellowed and went for a punch and Omu blew her away through the wall and Aria rolled on her side on the side of the room and fell to the ground.

"You will die by my hands." Omu teleported in front of her.

Aria panted and her flames surged and she let out a yell. It was a yell of frustration. She stood up and summoned her sword and got in a stance.

"Using light has no affect on me..and magic will be drained..elemental attacks are reduced because of my scales. You have no chance of winning!" Omu laughed.

"Shut up!" Aria bellowed and her flames engulfed her then vanished and her phoenix wings appeared.

"The Legendary Phoenix of Genten..that will not save you!" Omu summoned his sword and dashed to Aria.

Aria dashed to Omu and clashed with him and her Warrior Skill, Flames of Rebirth, activated. Omu noticed and grinned then clashed with her more. Their final clash caused their swords to fly from their hands. The Tower of Eternity started to rumble and the crystal on the top of the tower glowed. Omu and Aria were fighting using taijutsu then Aria punched Omu's stomach then opened her hand and blew him away. She dashed to him and flipped on one hand then sprang into the sky, summoning her lance. She twirled her lance then threw it down at Omu. Omu saw how fast it was coming down and teleported out the way then appeared above Aria and Eagle Kicked her down.

"Nngh!!" Aria grunted as she hit the ground. She looked up and rolled out the way then got up. "I need more power..!"

She bellowed and started pushing the limits of her Warrior Skill. Her flames started to grow darker. She closed her eyes and her flames turned into a darker shade of red and her hair started to turn into flames. Omu looked at her then got in a stance then felt her energy getting stronger.

"I will...win...at all costs!" Aria yelled. "Flames of Rebirth: Overdrive!"

Omu covered his face and Aria's flames surged and shined brightly. He grunted and heard the screeches that sounded like a Pheonix then uncovered his face and got punched. Aria's eyes emitted blue flames and her wings emitted dark red flames. She went into overdrive that could cost her life afterwards. Omu was blown away, hitting his back against the tower. The Tower's crystal shined brightly then started to gain the elemental power from Nixtorm, Valora, and Spectem.

"It's starting.." Omu chuckled. "You do not have enough time to stop me and the tower!"

"I will kill you and destroy the tower!" Aria bellowed and dashed to Omu.

Omu laughed and his dark aura surged and they clashed with their fists. They entered hand to hand combat once again. Omu went for multiple strikes. Aria blocked and dodged them then went for a strike. Omu grabbed her arm and swung her against the tower. Aria hit her back against the corner of the tower and she groaned loudly then was slammed to the ground. Omu then kicked her away. Aria coughed and stood up and looked up at the tower. She was running out of time. She yelled and dashed to Omu.

"I will not let these people die!!" Aria bellowed.

"You are wasting your time!" Omu laughed.

They clashed again and entered hand to hand combat. Aria dodged his strike and punched his stomach and yelled. Energy surged from Omu's back then was blown inside the tower. Aria dashed after him and gripped his face and slammed him against the wall. Omu yelled and blew Aria back with his repulsive force. He dashed to her and punched her upward and flew up after her and tackled her. They crashed up to the roof of the tower then Omu threw her down on the roof. Aria got up and watched Omu land on his feet.

"Hero of the Light. You have no chance against me. I am your ruler now!" Omu said.

"A ruler who leads his people in ruins is no ruler!" Aria dashed to Omu and avoided his strike then grabbed his neck and slammed him down and dragged his head across the roof and threw him.

Omu grunted and rolled on his side then rebounded back up and his dark aura grew more powerful. Aria looked at him and watched him float up to the sky. Omu let out a roar and black lightning crashed down powerfully. Aria glared and got in a stance.

"I am the Cosmic Dragon! I shall not be defeated by a mere ant!" Omu yelled and held his hand out and portals opened behind him. "The end of all mankind starts now!"

Aria looked at all the portals and her flames burned bigger and more powerful. Her eyes glowed as she looked at Omu. The tower started to take elemental enemy from Avia, Lady Hayakawa's Kingdom: Iwa, and Shikakiyo. The core in the tower started to rumble and released a small energy pulse. Aria noticed and knew she had to hurry and defeat Omu before the Tower could finish charging elemental energy.
