Surprises

An hour had passed and Brume had not received the call, so he decided to call back, but no one picked up. He called for the second time, but this time he heard a phone ringing in the kitchen and there was no one around. He made his way to the kitchen to find out whose phone it was, but to his surprise he saw the hooded, mysterious man in his kitchen, in front of the opened fridge, taking out a bottle of beer.

He noticed Brume's presence. "You have a lot of drinks in here, why is that? Oh, never mind, I just remembered why."

"What are doing here? How did you get in?"

"You are asking the wrong questions and to the wrong person. You should ask yourself how you let your friends disappear right under your nose and your guards tranquilised." He picked up a glass and walked to the sitting room. "It has been years since I took any kind of alcohol."

Brume went to take a sit and watched him drink his beer without taking off his mask. "Are you scared of being seen?"
