Bound by each other's dark secrets, pasts, and a stupid roommate contract they're stuck together. Secrets don't make friends, but they might just turn enemies into lovers and reverse. Excerpt: Emily angrily folded her arms and impatiently tapped her foot on the tiled floor as she glared at the oblivious, shirtless man. She cleared her throat and he finally looked up from his phone, "Yes?" Emily narrowed her eyes accusingly, "Where is it?" Blake sat up from the couch and placed his phone on the center table, "Where is what?" "My pink lace underwear, you perv!" she accused through gritted teeth. Blake gasped, "You actually own sexy underwear?" Emily's arms fell to her side and she tightly clenched her fists, "Tell me where you hid my underwear and no one gets hurt." ------ DollyRoma: I was trying to try continue this, but I lost interest. Because I'm not a monster

Steve didn't look at Hope even once, and the blank look he sported was not helping to ease her anxiety since she couldn't tell what he was thinking.

'Does he think I have something to do with what happened?' she fearfully wondered.

She watched Steve keenly as he took the blood-stained cover sheet from the bed. Hope had no idea he was bleeding that much and bled that much since she left him, the guilt rushed in and she wanted to slap herself for forgetting about him.

'What kind of woman am I to leave her lover to bleed out like this?' she reprimanded herself and told herself that Emily from back then wouldn't have done something so blatantly foolish.

Steve gently and properly tucked Blake under the remaining covers, before putting the materials he finished using back in the first-aid kit.
