Chapter 118

RATE AND REVIEW

She was like a saviour because there was a time the school was threatened with closure if they weren't able to win any competitions and Ariana took it upon herself to make sure the school won in all areas.

She coached the junior students on spelling, fashion parade and the rest on acting.

He chuckled as he remembered the smile on her face when she'd presented the trophies to him but there he was, contemplating on going to see her.

" No. I won't let my ego get the best of me, I'll go see her and I'll apologize to her" he said and left his office.

On his way out, he bumped into Beatrice.

" Good day sir, I just thought I'd bring some files to you before I leave for home" Beatrice said with a smile on her face.

" Oh Beatrice, I don't know what I would do without you. You've taken up Ariana's job so well but I'm sorry, I can't go through these files right now" he said.

" It's the least I can do sir but I'm sorry, you'll have to go through these files. They contain details of the school's populace and the growth it's experienced since we resumed this week. You have a meeting with the board of directors after all" Beatrice said and handed him the files.

" I'll be back in time Beatrice, I have to go somewhere" he said, rushed into his office, dropped the files on his desk and left.

" Why is he in such a hurry?" Beatrice asked " it must be so important for him to skip the meeting with the board of directors" she said to herself.

She made to leave when a muscular hand dragged her and covered her mouth.

" What are you doing?" She asked after the hand was removed from her mouth " Alen?" She called after seeing that it was none other than Alen.

" What have you done to yourself?" He asked angrily.

" And what do you mean by that?" She asked.

" Oh please, don't act like you don't know what I'm talking about. What's up with this good girl attitude? We both know that you're a bad girl so stop acting like you're a good girl" Alen said.

" You're entitled to thinking whatever it is that you want, I don't care now excuse me" she said and made to leave but Alen grabbed her by the wrist and turned her, hugging her from behind.

" You can't run away from me Beatrice. There's no way you can, we both have dirty secrets together and there's no way you can stay away from me" he muttered in her ears.

" Let go of me" Beatrice struggled but Alen was just too strong for her 

" You take advantage of my love for you and I don't like it. It's either you love me back on your own accord or I'll make you love me by force"  he said.

" I'll never love you Alen, I'll never" she said and continued to try to get away from him. " Let go of me" she screamed.

" You know you ruined me but don't worry, I'll let you off this time and forgive you but the next time you try it, I'll......"

" Do what?" A muscular voice.

Beatrice looked up and saw him, as handsome as ever in his black leather jacket and pants, anger written all over his face.

" Stay away from this Raymond, you don't wanna know what I'll do to you" Alen threatened

" There's nothing you can do to me. Let go of her now" Raymond warned.

" You shouldn't interfere in mine and my girlfriend's affairs" Alen said.

" I'm not your girlfriend you fool" Beatrice continued to struggle " let go of me"

" You heard her, let go of her" Raymond said and swung a punch across Allen's face causing him to let go of Beatrice.

" Aaaah" Beatrice winced in pain after Alen let go of her. She looked at her wrist, it'd turned red due to the fact that Alen had held her tightly for too long.

Raymond continued to hit Alen until he ran away.

" Thank you" Beatrice muttered and made to leave.

" I should be the one thanking you. You have done a lot for me" Raymond said.

" I didn't do anything, we made a deal and the only thing I want is to fulfill your end of the deal" Beatrice said.

" I'll surely fulfill my end but your hand has being hurt badly. Come with me, I'll take you to the nurse" Raymond said and led Beatrice to the school clinic.

A camera clicked with a picture of Raymond and Beatrice holding hands.

" This will surely go viral, hottest guy in highschool makes a deal with his girlfriend's former best friend. He beats up guy to rescue girlfriend's former best friend and then walks hand in hand to a secret location"

" Casey" Ariana called.

" Yes" Casey answered after walking into the room.

" Have you perhaps seen a bottle here, I'm having troubles finding it?" Ariana said and it made Casey suspicious.

" Maybe that's the same bottle of vironia that I'd found but why would she be looking for it? It only confirms one thing, she's really into drugs" Casey thought to herself.

" Hey. Have you seen the bottle or not?" Ariana asked after snapping her fingers.

" I haven't seen anything" Casey lied and Ariana smiled.

" Alright, I guess I'll find it myself" Ariana said and bent " aaah" she winced in pain.

" What's wrong Ari?" Casey asked.

" Nothing serious, just had a sharp pain in my head after I bent" Ariana said and got up. She walked to the bed and sat,  " I wonder where that bottle is, it's really important and I need it badly" she said.

" How badly do you need it?" Casey asked, disgust getting evident in her voice.

" Not that badly but I sure do need it" Ariana said and put on her slippers.

" I bet you need it badly but you're just too dishonest to admit it" Casey said and made to leave.

" What do you mean by that Casey?" Ariana asked.

" Oh please" Casey turned, " stop acting like you don't know what I mean. We both know the bottle you're talking about and stop acting like you don't need it badly but there's one thing I need to know, we've been roomies for a long time so how could I not have found out" Casey asked as she ran her hand through her hair.

Ariana got up, " what are you implying Casey? That I'm a liar?" She asked

" That's not what I'm implying but good thing you know what you are, a liar and a......." Before she could complete her sentence, her mum interrupted.

" Are you two having a fight?" Mrs Lambert asked.

" No mum, Casey and I are just settling some issues" Ariana said.

" You'll settle those later, someone's here to see you" Mrs Lambert said.

" Tell them I'll see them later, I have unfinished business with Casey" Ariana said and walked across to Casey. " What do you mean by I'm dishonest and a liar" Ariana asked.

" Not what do I mean. I don't mean anything, I don't need to mean anything because it's the truth. You're a liar and a cheat, you claim I'm your best friend but you lie to me right in the face" Casey said.

" When have I ever lied to you huh?" Ariana asked.

" You're lying to me right now. Will you stop lying to me and just tell me the truth, what's in the bottle you're looking for?" Casey asked.

" What truth? What do you mean by that?" Ariana asked.

" Will you stop playing dumb already? We both know that you're lying so just stop telling lies" Casey yelled.

" I won't, I......."

" Enough. I've had enough of you two already. Ariana, Mr Shawn is here to see you so I'll appreciate it if you stop your childish argument and go see him" Mrs Lambert said.

" At least there's someone more reasonable to know that I don't tell lies" she looked at Casey, rolled her eyes before leaving.

" Tell me Cassandra, what's wrong with you two?" Mrs Lambert asked.

" Just a few issues. Issues that'll show that Ariana doesn't deserve to live among humans but rather in a psychiatric home or a rehabilitation center" Casey said and left.
