Chapter 1: Grand Release

Prologue: Three Days Ago

In a dim room, there was a tv that showed a News Chanel with the main story being; The game of the century, named "Endless Universe" was coming out in three days. As the story continues it switches to another person outside of a store with countless people lining up with multiple tents set up.

"As you can see, some people are already lining up for Endless Universe even though it's not going to be out until for another three days." the news anchor said with a slight pause before he continues "This just shows how excited the people are for this game. However, that is to be expected as it was advertised as a second world."

"Wow, people are really into this game, anyhow for those who" before the anchor could finish, the tv was shut off after the person in the room went and opened the blinds, with light coming into the previously dim room revealing a guy with black hair, golden eyes, with a skinny body. He is Qin Sheng a person with the dream of making it big on Endless Universe and finally be famous all over the world.

Chapter 1: Grand Release

Today was the big day, Endless Universe finally coming out, he had pre-ordered it online so all that was left to do is wait for a few minutes. After a while, he heard knocking on the door to which he ran to the door and slammed it opened and he heard "Hello, is this Mr.Qin?" from the man outside of the apartment and Qin Sheng gave a nod to reply to the man and he had responded with "Well then please sign here and the game is yours" after he signed the notepad and grabbed the game. He rushed to his Headset and put in the game then turn it on.

The screen went black and slowly turned to a universe as it floats through it to a planet while it said "Welcome to Endless Universe where one could be whatever they wish to. Now young adventurer what's your name". Qin Sheng put the name Choas which was accepted and it switched to the character creation screen. He chose to keep most of his appearance with a few small changes such as more muscles.

"Now Choas what is your first skill you wish for?" with that a list of skills popped up such as Slash, Spark, and more however he kept scrolling past them when he saw the skill

He chose it right away as it was revealed that the player will only start with clothes and nothing else, another bonus is that its a rare passive skill.

When he saw that only 10 points where given he give STR 3 points and VIT 3 points with DEX getting 4 points. After he was finished he saw a bright light then he was in the middle of a town with multiple other players in the same area. Qin Sheng saw a lot of players on one NPC which most likely giving the starting quest so he also went to the NPC. After a while, he was finally near the NPC and he said "Hello, young adventurer I need your help" and he instantly replied, "I shall do my best, what do I need to do?" "Please go to the Grassy Plains and kill 10 wolves" with that Qin Sheng got the quest <Kill 10 Wolves> and he had accepted.

As he reached the Grassy Plains he saw a sea of players with multiple people on one wolf and he knew he was in for a hard time. When he killed his second wolf it was already 30 minutes in and a Global Notification popped up.

Which motivated Qin Sheng to try harder and to reach beyond that player. After he killed 10 wolves it was already 2 hours in as other players kept stealing his kills, he went back to the NPC and turned in the quest getting 100 Exp with a random weapon from the wolf claws, and when he view the stats of the item.

It was a good item this early on however a new notification got his attention and he was confused.

<As a player has reached level 10, the beginner towns shall now be shut down so everyone please log off within 15 minutes, and the servers shall update and will be back up in a 1 hour>

How has someone already gotten to level 10 even though it's just been 2 hours since the game started, but he logged off ready to play in an hour.

When he took off the helmet his stomach growled loudly reminding him that he hasn't eaten since yesterday. He went to the kitchen and grabbed some eggs and some leftover rice and cooked the egg sunny side up. He placed the egg on top of the rice and poked the yolk to into the rice and poured some soy sauce into the hole and stirred it up and started eating while looking at the forums with people saying who was Limitless and who got to level 10 first. When he was done he looked at the clock 1:34 PM and there were still 7 minutes left before the game started again.
