Jelyn p.o.v

Jelyn sprang from her seat, yelling, "What the heck did you say!"

"They solved the case regarding you being the killer," Leif stated, "but they're still not convinced if you're the one who did it."

"Who was the first to solve the case?" she inquires, her brows furrowed.

He said, "Camille Cornell."

"Let's simply murder Camille," Jelyn replied, a smirk on her lips, "so the rest won't know I was the one who did it."

"It's not going to be simple," he continued, "they've already phoned the cops and hired an excellent detective to track you down. How are we supposed to murder her?" he wondered. "If we eliminate her, they'll know it's you."

"You're right, but what if we abducted the investigator instead of Camille?" she murmured devilishly, her hands crossed in front of her lips.

"Say less, the lads have already tracked down the investigator and are ready to abduct her in 3,2,1!" Leif said as he pointed to his watch. "Mission accomplished, Jelyn," he added proudly. "They're on their way."

Jelyn sprang to her feet and dashed towards Leif, who caught her by the waist as she kissed him on the cheeks. "Ooh, I knew you could do it," she said gleefully.

After she kissed him, Leif seemed agitated. "Of course, I did it just for you my lady," he added.

"You always humble yourself, and I appreciate that," she remarked gently as she hugged him again.

"You constantly do this because it's your job," she remarked, rolling her eyes. "It's not for me, but it's your job."

"However, my job is not the same as what I do for you, dear lady," Leif explained.

"Leif, no, no!" she cried as she drew away from the hug. "You can't keep doing this, you know that. I love someone else, and it's not you."

"But, I love you-" she interrupted him before he could continue, "No, you don't. I know, that's not how you feel because you just love me for what I love to do," she said.

"But, I thought we had something, a connection; why can't you love me?" he said, irritated.

"Don't raise your voice at me!" she cried, pointing at him. "We weren't a thing to begin with, I don't love you, and we don't have a "connection," she said. "END. OF. DISCUSSION," she continued, her voice rising.

"FINE!" he cried angrily as he rushed out of her office, murmuring, "I'm going to finish this once and for all, and you're going to repent everything."

•Back at the hospital•

"All good, I already patched your forehead wound, and that should stop the bleeding," the emergency department nurse stated.

"Thank you, nurse," Elvira says. "How long will it take for the wound to heal? Is there any ointment we need use when the patch is removed?"

"The wound would take 1 day to heal, and yes, there is an ointment called Bioderm that can help something you must apply twice a week to her forehead" While handing Elvira the ointment, the nurse responded.

"Thank you, nurse," Elvira said with a grin as she walked away.

Elvira smacked Alyssa's arm after the nurse had gone. "What was that for?!?" she shouted.

"You know, I love you, but you always frighten me with your crazy and hazardous ideas, like this one," Elvira said, her voice troubled as she hugged Alyssa. "I was afraid you'd turn out like a Clydesdale who couldn't recall anything," she said.

"You do realize I'm standing in front of you and can hear you; I'm not deaf, I've simply lost my memory," he explained.

Elvira pushed Clydesdale a little more, "I know you can hear, but it's just that I hate seeing her like this; it's not her fault that two of our classmates were slain," Elvira said, her voice troubled.

"It's not her fault, and Camille and Jordan hired an incredible detective to find Jelyn if she's the killer," Clydesdale said.

"That's correct, but are they certain it's Jelyn?" she wondered.

"She could be, but we still don't have-" Leif dashed towards them before she could complete what she was about to say.

"Whoa, Leif, take it easy there. Where are you going in such a hurry?" Elvira questioned, her hands stopping him.

"I heard Alyssa was harmed; is she all right?" Leif asked.

"Yes, she's fine; she's currently resting in the emergency room," Clydesdale said.

Elvira inquires, "Where have you been? I didn't see you earlier."

"I had things to accomplish," Leif explained.

Elvira was again interrupted when she received a video message from an unknown number. She inquires, "That's strange, I just got an unknown live video message, should I click it?"

Camille, Jordan, and the detective were all tied up with huge chains and their mouths covered with handkerchiefs, and she then clicked the video, which began to play.

"Camille, Jordan, and the investigator have been kidnapped," they all said when they saw them.

They were so focused on three that a shadow appeared on the video, which was Jelyn, as you guessed.

"You guessed it, I was the one who killed Anne and Abegail," Jelyn said, waving her hand. "Now, I've kidnapped not just these three, but also Angelo," she continued, pointing to Angelo, who was smiling. "Angelo, here. Is the one who kidnapped them, yes; Angelo has been assisting me lately and is extremely handy," she continued.

"Why that punk! He's assisting the killer, I can't believe this. I knew, I had a gut sense he wasn't the right guy for Alyssa," Elvira yelled into the air.

"I don't need to explain why; I've kidnapped them; if you want them alive, why don't we play a little game called kiss or kill, since that's my favorite game; now, let's start with detective kiss or kill?" she requested, her ear protruding.

"Why bother, these three lives are at risk here," Clydesdale countered, "she simply asked if the detective should be a kiss or kill."

"Hmm, what's that? Kill her? Sure, sure. She's worthless, anyway. Why bother?" she smirked before pointing the revolver towards the investigator and firing a single shot.

As the investigator was shot down, Elvira screamed in terror. Camille and Jordan was also shocked and afraid from the gun fire that they don't know what's happening around them since they're head is covered with sack.

"One down, two to go. Isn't this wonderful? Are you having fun, because I am," she exclaimed as she hopped happily.

"I'm not having fun; I thought this was going to be a love narrative, but it feels like a horror story," Elvira explained.

"Oh, sweetheart, don't get me started on romance because there is none in this story; it was just in the beginning that we weren't in some Kdrama series, honey," Jelyn replied as she spun the gun around and rolled her eyes.

"Now, who should go next? Would you like to do the honors, Angelo?" she pondered before approaching Angelo.

"Sure, thing. Let's go with Camille next, and if you don't want your friend killed, you better come here," Angelo smirked as he took the rifle from Jelyn. "But first, how about a quick kiss," he said, smiling as he turned to Camille, whose head was still in the sack.

"Don't you dare touch her!" yelled Leif as he pointed to the phone.

"Do you want to kiss her?" Angelo inquired, then taunted them as he lifted the sack off Camille's head.

Camille was taken aback when she saw Angelo standing in front of him; she attempted but failed to break free from the chains.
