Gavin sighed, reluctantly accepting the call from Alaric, knowing he had little choice but to engage.
"What the hell is wrong with you?!" Alaric's voice came through, equal parts annoyed and concerned.
"Dizzy."
"Why are you dizzy?" Alaric snapped, clearly irritated.
"Low blood pressure."
"Alright. Stay put. I'll send some medicine to your place."
"There's no need! I just need some sleep and food. I'll be fine."
"Yeah, yeah, I'm sending some goat satay too."
"I said don't bother!"
"Too bad. I might as well send a live goat for you to deal with," Alaric shot back sarcastically. "Now, give the phone back to Laika!"
Gavin, seeing no point in arguing further, handed the phone back to his sister.
Laika, still on speaker, cheerfully resumed the call. "Yes, Alaric?"
"Does your brother look pale?"
"Mmm… not really."
"Alright. And you? Want anything? Goat satay too?"
"Just chocolate."
