14: Future Possibility?

Kei coughs up massive amounts of blood. Kei starts to breathe heavily because of the Mana which is rampaging within his body and injuring his organs. 'I might really die here. I can't think of any way to get out of here.' Kei falls unconscious and he starts to blame himself 'I shouldn't have been so confident of myself. How could I have possibly believed that I could have defeated a B-ranked Boss Monster alone and that also the monster was Acidwrym.' Kei continues to loathe himself for a little while then he says to himself 'If I get one more chance I wouldn't be so stupid.'

Kei then opens his eyes to see that he is standing in front of the boss gate and he is about to open it but he stops himself. 'What the hell happened? I am pretty sure that I died or at least I was in a condition where I couldn't be saved.' Then he starts to think 'Did I just go back in time?'. Kei looks at his army and he reabsorbs them. Kei then sees the memory of his army. He sees through the perspective of Zen that as soon as Kei touched the door Kei froze and stood in a daze mode.

'This proves the fact I came back in time is wrong because this is the type of reaction I give when I usually get a memory or experience of someone. But I am pretty sure that I was present in the memory or whatever it was. Wait a minute could it be that I saw a future possibility?'

Kei sighs as he thinks 'Either way I have to clear this dungeon and alone at that because if I call the group then I can't bring out my army and I am pretty sure my army is much better than the group.'

'Let's now think about how to defeat both bosses. But I am not sure if there are two bosses inside there .' "Agh" Kei grits his teeth 'This is confusing as hell!' Kei then calms down 'I can't let this go to my head, I understood one thing after that possibility and that was that I should always have a plan and that plan should have a backup plan. Even if there is a possibility of having two bosses present inside there then I have to make a plan for the worst possible situations. If there is only one boss then it would only be an advantage for me.' Kei then sits at the front of the entrance of the boss gate and starts to think of possible ways to defeat the bosses.

After a few minutes, he gets up from the ground and stretches himself and opens up the gate of the boss room. The cave looked the same as he saw in that possibility but the strange thing was that it looked like only Acidwrym was present there. 'Then what happened to me at that time? Was I just daydream-' but Kei's thoughts were cut off as Maligora bursts out of the ground and wraps itself Acidwrym and starts to squeeze and almost bit its head off but at the end moment Maligora had to retreat as Acidwrym started to secret some toxic acids.

'I just have to wait until Morphy spreads around the cave. If one of them happens to be on the brink of their death then it would only be good luck for me and I would kill them and get their Essence. If they notice me then I have to go with Plan B.' Maligora gains some distance from Acidwrym and attacks it with his Iron tail. Acidwrym starts to howl as it has a deep gauge in its arm.

Then Acidwrym uses its advantage of its body being like Titanstoned Golem and throws rocks at Maligora which was smashed into pieces after Maligora uses its tail. After some back and forth between them. Maligora went underground to attack stealthily but with its heat vision, it noticed Kei. So it changed its course towards Kei to quickly deal with the weakest opponent of his.

Kei noticed that Maligora is coming towards him. 'I would have preferred plan A but what can I do now.' Then he puts a tremendous amount of Mana in his legs and jumps around 25 meters high as he dodges Maligora who was gonna swallow him up. The cave which was covered with Morphy turned into his army in an instant and started to engage with Acidwrym and keep it busy. Kei reaches the top of the cave and uses it to push himself down towards Maligora who was going to retreat back underground.

Kei already had his blade ready at that moment and created a huge Mana imitation of it and slices Maligora's iron tail.

"Hiissssss"

Maligora hissed out as it was very badly injured so it went underground to recover itself from the injury by shedding its skin. 'I already knew it was going to do that so I already planted a surprise for it.

As soon as Maligora went underground it was pierced by multiple spikes which were made out of Morphy and it died on the spot. 'Even though you are a serpent, you hide like a rat. Always going underground for everything.'Kei divides the Essence into 15 batches and absorbs it.'Agh' Kei's eyes almost bursted from the amount of Mana that surged in his body after absorbing the Essence but he starts to cough out blood. "Dammit the sickness had to come back right now." but he endured through it.

He got up from the ground and he looks at Acidwrym. "Now, How to handle you?" Kei asks himself, he became refreshed after absorbing all the Essence.

But he heard a voice which stunned him "KEI!" he turns around to see that it was.
