Professor Iris West asked after she was done, "So, if what you say is really true, then why were you so traumatized like that?"
Aria looked down and said in a small voice, "Just some memories."
As she finished, the head nurse came over with a cup of hot chocolate.
She looked at professor Iris West and said, "Are you done Miss West?"
Professor Iris said, "Yes, just one more thing."
She turned to look at Aria and Jacob and said, "Are you both going to stick to this story? I must tell you, this can get you both expelled."
Aria was surprised, "Expelled? Why?"
Professor Iris: "Jacob because he was reckless enough to want to dance on the roof. And you, Miss Aria because it was you who took him to the rooftop."
Aria looked surprised, "Only for that much? I'm afraid you will be losing two very good students for nothing."
Professor Iris was surprised. She did not see this much confidence in students, not even the royalty. She turned around and walked out the the ward.
After she was gone, the head nurse also left them to rest. Jacob said as he sat sipping on his hot chocolate, "I see that you are back to your usual self."
Aria: "Of course."
Jacob: "What made you so sure that they wouldn't expel us?"
Aria: "I was not sure. Am still not. But I don't know why, I just felt like if I showed fear, I would be doing exactly what she wanted."
Jacob: "Why did you feel like that?"
Aria: "No idea." Then she went back to her hot chocolate.
Jacob debated with himself for quite some time before he asked something that was really bothering him. He said, "Say Aria, you told professor Iris that you were so worried due to some past memories. Have you begun to remember?"
Aria stopped as she was about to take another sip. She remembered that she had indeed said that. Professor had asked her and she had told the truth without thinking of anything else. Aria cursed herself internally as she made up a random excuse, "Oh that. I just said that to get Professor off my back."
Jacob put down his cup and said, "I can tell when you're lying. So will you....."
But his words were cut short as they heard a high pitched voice screaming, "JACOB!!!! JACOB!?!?!?"
To Aria's no surprise, Harper came running into the recovery ward and almost plopped down on Jacob's bed. Jacob hurriedly pushed her away so she had to pull a chair and sat down beside his bed. She said, "Oh my god Jacob, are you all right? I heard what happened, I was so worried. I immediately rushed here. Look, I even fell down and scraped my knee."
Aria suppressed a chuckle upon hearing this. But the little noise that escaped her lips made Harper's attention turn towards her.
Harper looked at Aria with a complicated expression and said, "Thank you Aria. For saving Jacob."
Aria: "Well, it was technically my fault that he fell. All he was doing was trying to cheer me up. And now if you'll excuse me....." Saying this Aria finished her hot chocolate and layed down on the bed, her back to the two.
