Scarlet and Edward froze in place as soon as they saw the chaotic scene.
Richard's house was completely destroyed as if a great fire had broken out last night. Well, the fire did happen, but oddly enough, only the house Richard lived in was destroyed while the burns did not hit the ground around it.
What's more, there was no smoke or sign indicating fire, so the higher-ups didn't notice it.
"Richard, what happened to your house?" She came early in the morning with Edward once she heard the news from Richard.
Richard scratched the back of his neck awkwardly as he answered the girl, "I'm out of control."
Scarlet gasped heard the young man as if she couldn't believe the answer. There was no way Richard could burn his own house unconsciously while controlling the fire not to burn the other part.
Out of control? If that young man lost control of the power of his flames, wouldn't the whole place burn? But why only the young man's house caught fire?
