Chapter 7: A fallen god

[Well... let's go in parts, this chapter took a while to come out because I was playing the Elden ring dlç and... well, the ending was unexpected to say the least, and leaves more questions than answers. And well, for the protagonist's name... this is a fic, things change, the story changes, etc, that's why it's a fic. Don't take it as an insult or anything like that, I obviously thought about the issue that all of Rennala and Radagon's children start with R, but I left out the ending, it's a fic. but I can say that the first name I thought of for the protagonist was; Radamés. With that said... Let's move forward.]

In front of Tsuki and Vyke is the last of the giants, considered lords of the forge and now reduced to dust and only one of their race remaining.

"ARGHHHH" With a scream almost as if expressing anguish and pain, whether for his fallen brothers or hatred for the golden ones. The last giant advances madly with its green "plate".

"HUGH" Using strength, the giant attacks the ground using the "plate", causing a mini earthquake, and causing a wave of snow and stone to be launched towards Tsuki and Vyke.

"BOOM" "CLACK"

"Bad" Says Tsuki

Taking the sword he says; "{SCHOLAR'S SHIELD}"

Two shields rise protecting Tsuki and Vyke.

With a drop of sweat on his face Vyke says; "That was close"

"There is no time for appreciation" Tsuki then advances towards the giant first

"How to defeat something so big... just destabilize it" That was Tsuki's first thought.

"Here" In a shout, Tsuki thrusts his spear into the giant's heel, who, with a scream and natural reaction, raises his leg.

"Gggrrrr"

Taking his leg upwards in a natural reaction, Tsuki, still with the spear stuck in his heel, is taken upwards.

"Oahhh" That's a hell of a sight

"You're going to pay for this damn omen" The giant swings his leg towards the ground, throwing Tsuki towards the ground, and causing him to hit a rock.

"TSUKI!" Vyke shouts

Vyke then takes on the giant.

Ignoring Tsuki still on his feet, the giant throws a punch at Vyke.

Dodging the giant's blow by inches, Vyke says; "Tch, almost"

"That hurt" Tsuki, still a little groggy from the giant's throw, stands up watching Vyke

Using the sword as support, Tsuki slowly gets up and goes towards the giant.

Vyke meanwhile, using his spears, tries to land a sharp blow on the giant's leg. But instead of piercing the giant's leg, one of his spears breaks without piercing the giant's leg.

"CLINK"

"Very hard" Says Vyke wetting for the broken spear.

Looking at Vyke, Tsuki screams; "His limbs are too hard, go to the joints and soft spots on the body"

The giant still looking at the two says; "Think too much young omen, let me show you the power given by god"

Throwing his hands up he shouts; "{BURN, THE FLAME!"}

Hundreds of pillars of fire are created across the battlefield.

"FOSHHH" "FOSHH"

Looking at Vyke, Tsuki screams; "Get out of there already!"

Racing against time, Vyke got away from the giant.

"No, you can't leave" Says the giant before throwing his "plate" to the ground again.

"Hugh" Upon impact, Vyke is launched upwards, while the pillars of fire are also launched upwards.

"Bad" looking at Vyke being thrown into the air, Tsuki has an idea.

"{ICE AGE}" Taking his sword, Tsuki makes a 6m hollow ice ball.

"{BROKEN}"

Still inside the {Ice age} Tsuki uses his 360 vision to capture Vyke's location, and in the exact place where he was thrown, Tsuki uses: {Broken} to open a gate bringing Vyke into the ice ball.

A second later, the ice ball begins to shake as if an earthquake were happening, for 5 seconds later to dissipate as if it never happened.

Recovering from the surprised look, the giant looks at the ice ball and says; "There's nowhere to run now" advancing towards the ice ball.

Vyke then looks at the floor in motivation and says; "I'd rather be thrown up than that"

"No kidding, he's coming" Says Tsuki

"Let's get out" Coming out of the ice ball, much of the snow on the mountain was melted and the surrounding trees were burning and others were just dust.

"Is this the power of god?" Vyke asks.

Looking at Vyke, Tsuki says; "No, I think there should be more"

Looking at Vyke's broken spear, Tsuki says; "Still works?"

"No" says Vyke

"Take it, you'll need it" Tsuki then conjures a spear made of ice.

"Thank you" He says smiling.

"Let's go"

Looking at the giant heading towards him, Tsuki conjures with his sword: a hammer, which is formed from the swords, with the handle of the sword being the handle of the hammer, The difference between the hammer and the hammer used in Raya Lucaria is that this one has a pale color and freezing steam coming out of it.

"{ICE HAMMER}"

Tsuki places his spear behind his back in its sheath, and picks up the hammer with both hands.

Advancing towards the giant with the hammer, a gleam appears in Tsuki's pale blue eyes as he says; "{REPULSION}"

"FOSHHH"

Using Down, Tsuki is launched upwards towards the giant's knee.

Upon seeing Tsuki heading towards his knee, the giant slams his plate towards him.

"{BROKEN}"

A gate opens next to Tsuki, and when the "dish" reaches it, he passes through as if he were invisible.

The giant looks at the "plate" in confusion when he sees a circular hole in it.

"Now" Using brute force to hit the giant's knee, a clicking sound is heard and then the giant falls with a crash and kicks up dust.

"CLACK" "FOSHHHH"

Looking at his knee in confusion, the giant gives a cry of pain.

"AARRGHRHHHH, my knee"

The giant's leg is in a strange direction while his knee is also in the opposite direction of what it should be.

Looking at the giant Vyke thinks; "Maybe... a little too brutal?"

Vyke then climbs on top of the giant by his leg and goes towards the head.

The giant, seeing this movement, tries to attack Vyke who was coming down from his arm, seeing the situation, he screams; "Some help here"

Tsuki then raises the sword up and says; "{SNOW FIELD}"

"CLACK" "CLINCK"

A layer of ice spreads across the field, and even on top of the giant, and from this ice, ice spikes appear, hitting the giant and hindering its movements, stopping it.

The giant then sucks in air, causing a slight deformation in the direction of the wind and blows, but instead of air coming out, a puff of fire is thrown at his body.

"FOSHHH"

"VYKE!" Tsuki screams.

But before anything else, from the fire, Vyke comes out, still running towards the giant's head, the only visible difference is his armor, now a little deformed by the fire.

"Gotcha" In the giant's mouth, Vyke jumps pointing his spears at the giant's eyes.

"ROOARR"

"MY EYES, MY EYES"

With the roar, Vyke jumps to the ground again and heads towards Tsuki, moving away from the giant.

The giant then puts his hand over his eyes as he begins to roll around, ignoring the fact that his knee and leg are completely broken.

"BOOM" "CRACK"

Each roll from the giant is like a small earthquake, destroying some of Tsuki's ice, the ground, and his leg in the process.

After a few minutes the giant stops completely...

Vyke looks at Tsuki and says; "So... that's it, it's over?"

Before Tsuki can respond, an almost ghostly voice appears with a slight hint of surprise and pride.

"Well, it's been a while since anyone dared to challenge me, I've only heard one so far with that audacity, and in the end... she won"

The "giant" then turns around, takes his leg and knee and straightens him in the correct direction with a neutral face, as if this type of injury was nothing.

"CRACK" "CRACK"

"I have to say, even with your audacity, it was a good fight, but... this is where your road ends"

The "giant" then stands up, as he turns towards Tsuki and Vyke, a red eye on his chest opens.

With the eye open, the air seems to have become hotter and even the furnace seems to shake a little, as if it were excited.

Then, behind the giant, three huge fireballs appear, while fire spreads across the giant's body, and in his hand a beam of fire, almost alive, forms, looking like a sword.

The "giant" looking at the two he says; "You are now not facing such an inferior being who stains my horn..."

Taking the sword up he says; "You are now faced with Vulcan, the god of fire"

When he says this, somewhere in the middle lands, a faint explosion can be heard, and if listened carefully, it can be heard that it came from the volcano.

"FOSHH"

Looking at the giant now, with fire on his body, huge fireballs around him and giant beam of fire that looks like a sword, Tsuki and Vykes look at each other with one thought; "This won't end well"
