As when an expedition to colonize the moon quickly turns into a disaster, he is swallowed whole by an anomaly and spat out somewhere completely different. Here one can conjure flames with words and summon thunderclouds with a shout, but it's not all fantasia and ecstasy. The world seemed peaceful enough, but as he learns more and more. He realizes everything he sees is a facade, and what's truly underneath is a civilization built on blood and war. In fact, the whole world is in a state of war, fueling the coming of Ragnarök.
I no longer knew how long it was, I only knew that I was lost, but found. I was dead, rotting even, yet I was alive, a newborn. I was burning in insatiable heat, yet I was numb, at the bottom of silent and freezing cold. I wanted out, but I wanted to stay, there was a beauty to the pain. It was that, the thought of beauty that sucked me back into the prison every time I sought escape.
I wanted escape, but I wasn't truly the one who felt such a thing, it was the hunted. I wanted to walk again, but I didn't walk, it was the dying that couldn't move. I was hungry, yet I had no appetite, it was the starving that yearned for food, not me. I didn't even know who 'I' was, to me, I was everything that was, and nothing at the same time. I couldn't do anything, yet I ran, yet I ate, yet I lived.
