Aftermath

After 55 minutes, Victor, Lyra and the forensic teams arrives at the BloodMoon Forest via the guild master Victor's flying magic

"What in the name of- "Lyra holds her hands on her mouth shocks

The BloodMoon Forest is no more, it's only a wasteland after the battle an hour prior

While everyone was shocked, Victor scans the surrounding searching for Rayden

Then he sees 2 people besides a crater caused by the explosion, 1 was sitting looking at the crater, while the other 1 was unconscious

"There they are" Victor then flew towards Ray alongside everybody else

"RAY!" Victor shouts calling Ray

Ray then looks up with dry tears on his face

"You're finally here Victor"

Victor Waylen a.k.a. the Black Diamond guild master is a 50 year old man with a buff body, he have dark blue eyes, he have a short well kept hair that have turned grey and also a moustache, He became the guild master around 30 years ago. He met Luke and Ray when they're both still children, and ever since he'd become an uncle figure to both of them.

Victor then proceeds to sit next to Ray "Luke huh, I can't believe we lose him this soon, what happened?"

Ray then proceeds to explains to Victor what happened while Lyra heals Luna and Ray

"Is that so, so he sacrificed himself for you" Victor looks down

"Yeah, what an idiot, he should've just let me die! He had a child coming and he selfishly just died like that" Ray fake laughed

*BANG* Victor hits Ray's head

"DON'T SAY THAT, if he sacrifices himself for you, then at that moment, he valued your life more than himself" Victor lectured

"Why would he think that? He has a wife and a child coming meanwhile I had no one!"

"No one would care If I was the one who die instead" Ray argues

Victor running out of patient then chop the back of Ray's head making him unconscious

"You're wrong Ray, there are many that will care for your death, I'm sure you're still shocked that's why your mind went that way" Victor murmurs to himself

"Ahhhh guild master, you shouldn't hit a patient" Lyra panics

"Ah right, he's a patient HAHAHAHAHA"

"By the way, what's the result" Victor asks the forensic team

"Ah yes, we've confirmed one of them to be Luke Aslan, and the other one seems to be a black drakon"

"Hhhhh bring back Luke's corpse to his family, we'll held a nation-wide funeral with his family consent, also bring back that drakon's corpse back to the lab"

"Yes sir!"

~2 hours later in front of Luke's house~

*Knock Knock*

"Yes, coming~"

"Hmm, ah guild master Victor, what brings you here?" asks Elora

Victor contemplates on whether to tell her or not, but he decided to do so

"It's about your husband and his clan"

"Wh-What happened?" Elora asks nervously

"While on a mission they encountered a Royal Black Drakon"

"They manage to come out victorious, but not without casualties"

"Luna is unconscious from mana shortage, Ray is heavily injured, and your husband Luke is…dead" Victor conveys the news with a sadden expression

"No, no you're lying right, please tell me you're lying"

Elora is in disbelief, but after seeing guild master Victor serious face, her tears couldn't stop pouring

"No, no Luke…..Luke….dear…..This can't be" *sobs* *sobs* Elora cried heavily

"I'll stay with you until you've calm down for a bit"

Victor then grabs Elora's phone "I'm sorry if I'm being rude right now, but you need someone who can comfort you right now"

Victor then calls Amara, Elora's sister

"Elora? What's up?" Amara answers the phone

"Ah excuse me but this is Victor, the Black Diamond guild master"

"Oh, why do you have Elora's phone? What happened?" Amara asks suspiciously

"Can you come to her house right now? As you can hear from the background noise she is in distraught"

"What? What did you do to Elora! Why is she crying!" Amara asks angrily

"I have just conveyed the news that her husband had died and right now she needs comforts more than anything" Victor spoke seriously

"I'll head there right away!" Amara hangs up the phone

~1 hour later~

Amara comes barging in Elora's home "ELORA!"

*Sobs* "Sister is that you?" *Sobs*

"Elora! It's okay Elora, I'm here" Amara proceeds to hug Elora

After a few minutes of Amara's comforting, Victor spoke up "Now that you're here, I'll excuse myself"

"Ah right I'm sorry to suspect you earlier on the phone" Amara apologize to Victor

"No need, I understand the confusion, after she calms down, tell her to come to Lux Hospital, Ray and Luna are currently being treated there" said Victor while he's leaving

"Ah okay yes I'll tell her that"

~The next day~

"Looks like you're okay" said Amara to Ray

"Amara…..and Elora" Ray still not ready to face Elora

"I'm sorry Elora, it's because I got caught that Luke decided to sacrifice himself for me" Ray looking down with a sadden expression

"I'm sorry, I'm the one who should've died instead"

*Slap* "DON'T SAY THAT, HIS SACRIFICE WILL BE MEANINGLES IF YOU KEEP TALKING LIKE THAT" Elora shouts as she couldn't take it anymore

"Yeah, I've also been told that by Victor yesterday, I'm sorry but I just don't know what to do from now on" Ray stares at the ceiling

"So, when's the funeral?" Ray asks changing the topic

"It's next week, so that by then you and Luna are already out of the hospital" Amara answers

"Is that so" Ray spoke softly while resting his head on the pillow

"Then excuse us, we'll check up on Luna now" Amara excuses themselves

~In front of Luna's patient room~

"Luna, are you fine?" asks Elora

Luna still exhausted "Yes I'm fine, though I still couldn't lift my body yet, so sorry that I'm speaking to you while lying down"

"It's fine Luna, your health is more important" Elora replied

"Ah by the way, what happened after I was unconscious? It seems that the nurse and doctors don't know either

"....."

"What? What Happened?" Elora asks nervously

"Ray is being treated in the other room" Amara answers

"What? Is he okay? That idiot after saying all that cool thing" Luna asks worriedly

"Yes he's fine, we just visited him before coming here" Amara comforts Luna

"Is that so, wait is Luke also being treated here?"

"..."

"About that, Luke, he....he died in the battle yesterday" said Elora in a sadden expression

"No, no way, Luke, he really died? How? He was besides me when I fell unconscious! He, he, Elora" Luna looks at Elora with tears rolling down her face

"I'm okay Luna, I've already cried my hearts out yesterday

"No, you're not okay, you can't just cry it all out in just a day!" Luna argues

"It's okay Elora cry your hearts out for however many long it takes to calm your heart"

Then tears started to roll down Elora face once more "Thanks Luna, I appreciate those words"
