Jealousy...

The next day Alex is with Chara getting a feel for his new home, he runs up to Dominique happily dragging him along, he gives his input on the rooms.

Chara looks happy that Dominique came along putting on a happy expression going around to the point she wraps her hands his lets her head lightly hit his shoulder.

"Chara?" Dominique questions, "Are you okay?"

"I might possibly be falling for you..." Chara admits almost a whisper, he is silent, but is head over heels for some reason; Sophia was dressed in her usual white pajama given to the in-house human donators.

Shoving a jacket over top, stuffing her arms through showing signs of it being cold, she spots Dominique and Chara together in the distance while the new guest asks them questions.

Growling under her breath, she makes her way over to pull hard on Chara's hair from the back; she cries out loud drawing everyone away from what they were doing.

Alex hops on all fours to knock Sophia on her butt, Dominique lifts Alex by the collar.

"Stop, she is human Alex!" Dominique scolds as he dangles in with his feet an inch in the air, his eyes return to normal almost dazed.

"You are human? Why is a human allowed here?" Alex questions.

"I signed my life away to this vampire den you idiot!" She screams out frustrated making faces at Alex.

He rubs his eyes several times, "Are you serious, why would you not value your life enough to give it to this place?"

"Of course I am serious, what a horrible little kid you are!" She yells back.

"I am not a kid!"

"Well, you sure look like the one you are!"

"You have horrible manners tugging someone's head like that!" Alex barks back.

"She is flirting with my man!"

"If you think that is a good excuse you are mistaken, you sad warped human!"

"Shut up already, I don't listen to men half my size!"

"What did you say to me mortal?"

"You are hardly immortal, I been here long enough you pitiful child!" Sophia argues, Alex clutches her hand giving her a fixed stare, she feels compelled by his bright grey eyes to continue to gaze.

She collapses in his arms, "Alex we don't do that here!" Chara scolds him, he drops her to the ground, Dominique goes to pick her up.

"We respect all human residents Alex!" Dominique replies, something in him has his almost go limp, he flinches for a second looking over at Gavyn's room.

Alex's hand was reaching for the doorknob, "What's in here?"

"Do not go in there please!" Dominique yells out, Alex backs off; his eyes glowing oddly while Dominique's mind starts to reel.

Something feels completely off about Alex that very moment he tried to touch the handle, "I am sorry I did not mean to."

Dominique exhales softly with understanding, "Sorry Alex...my best friend is stuck in a coma in there and I don't want to bother him..."

"I see..." Alex says stepping away, "How long has he been sleeping?"

"Almost a month now...he has a nurse for his needs lately."

"I could have sworn I felt a presence in there other than a vampire," Alex mentions with a calm face, Dominique opens the door to see nothing inside.

"Are you sure you felt such a thing Alex?" Dominique questions unsure how to react to what just happened.

"Anyways, you need to take Sophia back to her room you two!" Chara states concerned, they all walk back to her room where Chara unlocks her room.

Setting her down, Sophia abruptly awakens ogling the small crowd in her room, she locates Alex quickly booting him out of the room with Chara.

Dominique becomes nervous attempting to move out of the room, she catches him by the arm, "Stay love...please."

"I am busy today, another time okay Sophia?"

"Fine...after I take a nap then..."

"Fine...sweet dreams Sophia..." Dominique replies flipping the light switch off leaving to meet Chara and Alex outside.

"She annoys me...that human..." Alex reveals irritated, Dominique gives a sympathetic look to Alex.

"Sophia never used to be like this..." He replies, "She was so kind..."

Chara only ignored Dominique's words, "I have got some things to handle, I will see you later Alex and Dominique...good day."

"I want to rest more since I don't need to hunt, I will see you later Dominique." Alex states waving to walk off leaving Dominique alone.

Dominique contemplates the desires in his heart to embrace this feeling lurking in his heart, "What if..."
