Earth: Reboot

Izak Smith was a Private Investigator that also loved Video Games. When the real world laws started to apply in the game he put both skills to work and what he found ended his very life, a group of players that were outside the rules of the game and could kill your real world body. But that was not the end, it was a new beginning. He woke up to right before the game started and used his knowledge to become the games strongest character. Would it be enough to stop them or would things end the same way?

In a dimly lit conference room with room for fifty but only two dozen are present. The man at the head of the table looked a little out of place as he was the oldest in the room by quite a bit. But the look that he gave off made the group of normally obnoxious people not even dare to whisper.

"I need a report on the recent movement with the companies that we have been looking at."

"Sir. Honestly it is not as good as we had hoped. An unknown has come in and bought huge chunks of all of the companies and raised the price by about twenty percent. They also bought a huge chunk of the one that we planned on buying."

Another voice spoke up. "Sir. It is almost like they are buying anything and everything to do with the game. They are buying things that we had planned to use in the future to manage things. It is almost like they have been in on our plans from the start."

"This is not acceptable. Has someone here leaked information?"
