Chapter 67 Day of the Attack!

It is Monday after the last class let out, and nothing has been going on for the Sitri Peerage since last Wednesday. It feels like it's taking a long time to start and my Hypnosis smartphone only has half its charge left, and this is bumming me out.

     I walk into the student Council's office and see Sona, Momo, and Tsubaki working on school related issues.

     Sona seeing my look of confusion and worry tells me.

     "Just take a deep breath, my familiar has been following the group around, and they have yet to find anything, so the big fight has not come and we missed it."

     "It has been five days since I found Valper and Freed, has Rias taken action?"

     Sona shook her head and told me.

     "Rias gave her word to the two Exorcists to not interfere with their hunt, so she has done nothing, plus her husband told her to stay out of it as well. In fact Rias did not even show the pictures to her peerage in fear of her Knight Kiba from going rogue."

     Tsubaki pushed up her glasses and supplemented.

     "However it seems someone from Riser's peerage gave Kiba the picture to motivate him to go crazy to get revenge, I think it was Ravel, or his Knight Karlamine."

     I shrug my shoulders at that and say. If this story is on any-other site than Scribble Hub, then it was stolen without permission!

     "That is definitely a Gremory problem and not a Sitri problem."

     I go to the changing room where we do our summoning work and take a nap on the couch there.

     Then after a good sleep I was awakened by the school nurse smiling at me, and she dangled her car keys and told me.

     "Time to go home dear, it is getting dark, or you can walk home, ha-ha."

     As we all had climbed into the Sitri van, Sona got a report from her familiar.

     "Seems the two Exorcists, Issei, Koneko, Saji, Matsuda, and Karlamine had started a fight last night with Freed."

     I say to Kalawarna and Sona.

     "Then just go home for now, the fight won't start till early in the morning before the sun rises. I knew the fight would happen on a school night though. Also I left Blue in hiding to let us know if things start without Rias calling for your help."

     So the Sitri peerage did just that, and we rested until the call for help finally came, late, but it came...

     The Peerage was all sitting in the rooftop garden watching in the direction of the school, and sitting in my lap with a loving smile is Reya Kusaka.

     Sona is presumably talking with Rias on her magic-circle and Tomoe is giving a funny look at me and Reya.

     "Wow, seeing you holding her like that is giving me the creeps like I am next in your harem. That disguise is even making me think you're Reya!"

     Yasaka in her Reya disguise, covers her mouth and tells her.

     "Well officially I am not supposed to be here, but the safety of my family overrides rules, and Miss Reya can protect the home, Ufufu. If that Fallen Angel thinks I will let him kill my husband then he has another thing coming. Also if Vali gets out of hand, he can only divide one of us at a time, so husband can end him or me, fufu."

     "Okay, now I can't look at Reya being sweet anymore, ha-ha!"

     Sona ended her call and said to us.

     "Kiba Yuuto, Xenovia Quarta, Irina Shidou, and Karlamine were all beaten to an inch of their lives and left at Rias's front door. Kokabiel, challenged Rias to stop him from destroying Kuoh and he would be at the school. Not only does he have the fragments you predicted but he has the Sword of Destruction as well. He also told her to invite me due to my sister being Serafall, sigh, it's the worst case scenario."

     I and Yasaka get up, and I move to Sona and tell her.

     "Don't worry, I will make sure we at least make it out of here alive, and well those we actually care for, but you get me. Let's show them why we Sitri are the best!"

     The 8 of us then climb in the van and go. Why don't we teleport to the old school building or the Student Council office? Because there could be a trap waiting.

     After a short drive we see the Rias and Riser peerages waiting for us. we get out to greet them. Sona asks.

     "How are your Knights?"

     Rias sighs and says.

     "Kiba and Karlamine took a lot of light damage and will take a while to recover, and the two Church Exorcists are in bad shape as well."

     "What about using Phoenix Tears on them?"

     "Riser, lost one to the Fallen, and Riser had to use his last two to save Rias's Pawns due to killing that Fallen, and Riser has not yet gotten a replacement for those yet."

     Translation... I did not help Rias with her fight and if I did not save the Pawns I could have kept safe by doing it myself, bla bla bla... My pussy will get cut off, sigh.

     So I ask the obvious question.

     "So we are going to fight a 10 wing Leader Class with no Phoenix Tears, right? Nice!"

     Rias says to defend Riser.

     "Well we do have Asia to heal so that's not a problem."

     And I put my fist up in the air, like I thought of something amazing!

     "Well Riser and Ravel are Phenex, and they are Immortal, so no problem! Lead us into battle!"

     Ravel blushed with shame, while Riser says.

     "Riser believes you do not know how Powerful a Leader Class is."

     I put on a disappointed look and say.

     "Then if Lord Riser can't fight him we are doomed, let's evacuate at once!"

     Rias's and Sona's eyes twitch for different reasons, Rias for losing her domain and would not be given another, and Sona for my over the top acting! But, Kala and Reya are smiling at the show. Rias says.

     "No, we the Gremory, including my husband, will fight to protect Kuoh and this school, even if the odds are against us!"

     Sona said to Rias.

     "I have installed a Barrier to protect the surroundings from too much damage, so I can send in both Motohama, and Kalawarna to fight, the rest of my peerage will hold up the shield."

     "Thanks Sona, and why don't you call for Serafall to deal with the Leader?"

     Sona with a smile shakes her head and tells her.

     "It is more appropriate for your brother to come instead, we only have an hour or so anyway."

     "No, he is not a Gremory so I did not call him. We can do this."

     Akeno said to her King's dread.

     "Rias, I called Sirzechs when Kiba was hurt and we were challenged, he will be here in around 45 minutes or so, so we only have to survive that long."

     While Rias was chastising her Queen for going behind her back and Riser looked at the pillar of light with hesitation, my group of Barrier controllers began their work.

     Soon the entire school was covered in a semi-transparent shell.

     Matsuda and Issei came to me and asked me.

     "Hey Motohama, do you know how strong this guy we are fighting is?"

     "Yeah Mat and I almost died to the 4 winged Fallen Angel we fought."

     I do the math in my head and then say to them.

     "That Fallen Valor you guys killed, would have been about 10x stronger than you, and if Mat halved him then 5x stronger than you, and this Leader Class is about 100x stronger than that Valor guy at least. So we are basically fighting 100 Valor's working as one being!"

     "Fuck!"

     "Fuck!"

     "Fuck is right, so just hide behind Riser and everything will be fine. If an enemy chases you down, just Kite him to the powerful Phenex! But don't think you can easily touch him Mat, he will kill you with one slap! So just try to stay alive and protect Asia."

     It looks like Both of Riser's Bishops are going to help power the Barrier instead of fight as well as his Pawns, so he is only bringing two Rooks, one Knight, and his Queen, while Rias is bringing her Pawns, Rook, and Queen.

     Kalawarna takes my right hand while I let out My Boosted Gear, this is our strategy to boost Kala when the time is right, then she can go nuts but not fight Cock-and-Balls.

     "You know I had to work under that asshole for a time. He was the one that wanted Raynare here, she was one of his. well she got the ritual to steal gears from him at least."

     "I just don't want you to get killed alright, so don't throw yourself in-front of attacks aimed at me, or I will Juggernaut and right now I can't break that."

     Kala deeply kissed me before we entered the school to go to the battlefield, this made me feel her affection and care for me, like this fight is nothing.

     Sona yelled over to me.

     "You may be promoted at any time!"

     Rias and Riser gave the same order, hearing Sona.

     Me, Issei, Matsuda, Saji, and the Pawns of Riser on Barrier duty all yelled at once.

     Akeno seeing me hold Kalawarna's hand had a complicated look in her eyes. She knew this woman was a Fallen Angel turned Devil for me. She blames the Fallen for her bad life and this woman was accepted by me so easily.

     "Akeno, get your head in the game, I need you."

     "Yes President!"

     Rias and her peerage go first with Riser and his followers to her side. I and Kala bring up the rear.

     Rias asks me.

     "I Know Kalawarna is a Knight, but what role will you be using in this fight, Motohama?"

     I hold up both my Boosted Gear and Kala's hand and say.

     "Support and Boosting Kala to kill small fries while the heavy hitters like you, Akeno, Bomb Queen, and Riser take out the major threats."

     Akeno smirked at the Bomb Queen name because Yubelluna hates it. But Riser sneers and says.

     "Why not use that powerful ice-magic on him?"

     "Um, Because he will be up in the air flying and my attack freezes the ground, so your Rooks and Knight can ice skate while he laughs at us?!"

     Riser's eye twitches due to that making some sense. Rias knowing I am not dumb says.

     "Please lead my Pawns so they will survive this, they are The Perverted 4 Horsemen comrades after all, Ufufu."

     All three Pawns nod to agree to listen to me and I smile, well I do help friends so this is right!

     "Leave it to me Lady Gremory, I will keep them in top peeping shape to scope out in school tomorrow, ha-ha!"
