DXD: Master Shooter(up for adoption)

What a life, a normal person, dying as they did a good dead. His last breath was taken in consideration of others. A compassionate person. “What bullshit!!” Someone shouted, the normal person, he was simply walking from school to his house when he accidentally tripped one a rock. His falling body pushed a kid out of the way of a car which then proceeded to turn him into mincemeat. Sure he loved fame, and love, but what is the use of it when you’re dead, you can’t. he was going to whine some more when he was suddenly approaching with an offer he couldn’t refuse. (This is a fanfic, that means I do not own Highschool DxD, I do not own any mentioned franchises. I do this for fu. and to get my head off other things. )

Chapter 9

I walked through the forest, I first needed to hunt down the stray stragglers before I planned on raiding the base. I took an arrow and nocked it onto my bow and aimed. I then released the arrow and it flew across the forest. Seemingly twisting and turning around trees before it pierced the head of a zombie.

The surrounding zombies quickly got into formation with their guns pointed outwards and all ready to attack. I got my next arrow ready and released it, the arrow flew across the forest. But it was off, really off. But when it was about to pass the group of zombies it made a turn. Almost a ninety degree turn.

It then struck a zombie in the head. Killing it in an instant. The zombies immediately started to charge towards the direction the arrow seemed to have come from. And just like that he started to take the zombies down, one at a time all while leading them around the forest.

I was soon done with this group and I moved on to the next, each group of zombies were hunted down all while they were being led around like a cat to a laser.

A few more stray stragglers were taken down just like the others. i made sure to hunt down everything. I left nothing behind or to chance. After an hour of hunting the zombies I charged forward towards the military base. It was old fashioned and not very large nor was it very secure. I then nocked more arrows and started to bombard them with arrows.

They tried to retaliate first before they found that it was pointless and they tried to bunker within their base. But I made sure that they couldn't do that. Any of them that were anywhere near the entrance of the base I shot down.

Soon all of them were dead, well, as dead as a zombie could get. I walked to the base before I started to sneak through the military base areas. The crates were taken and opened. They were full of clips and more guns and magazines. Grenades of all types were found in the crates as well. Some armor, but they were not as good as my own but I still took them. I then got it, a turret. A light machine gun with three magazines, each having over three hundred rounds. I took that. I then started to get to the underground part of the base. I busted the door open and charged in. My machete easily chopped the heads of the guards that guarded the front gates. The ones at the back opened fire. Their guns were loud and booming, but they could barely aim, only shot in my general direction.

With my gun I shot the five zombies at the end of the room, all a single shot to the forehead. Killing them instantly. They disappeared as did their guns and bullets but I ignored that and planted a C3 at the huge door.

I then activated it once I was far enough for safety. I then used infrared and as soon as the zombies started to shot I found their exact location. I released the bullets before I reloaded my gun and unleashing the rest of the bullets into the zombies. I loaded the gun before I started to run through the base.

I dropped two grenades at the next door. They exploded and busted the door open. The other side of the reinforced door were three more doors. I slammed my body through the one on the right. The door was ordinary so I easily broke the door down.

I then started to rush through the hallway and I brandished my machete and when I encountered one zombie around the corner I slashed their head right off. I then dashed through the hall with inhuman speed.

I then started to burst the doors at the side of the hall and throwing a grenade into each room, the rooms were bunking rooms, sleephalls if you will. So the rooms would have a large number of zombies. And with that each grenade with be able to be used to its maximum potential.

The hall was only just that, sleeping halls. All full of zombies. Once the grenades were done with their work I started to raid the rooms. Anything they could own, I would take them all. I could probably make good use of them.

After that I went back to the branching area and into the middle area. This is where all the heavy stuff is. From heavier guns, magazines, rounds, armor, and other technology I could find and use. Especially the explosives. I took everything and kept two pump action shot guns and loaded them. I then sheathed my machete and kept the two shot guns out. I then went back out before I kicked the last door down. It was the hallway that led to the boss. Last time I got everything but the boss room. This time would be different.

I charged through the hallway and started to blast the zombies, their heads and armor could not handle the might of the shotguns. I rushed through the hallway until it was the very end of the hall. I used all of my strength and burst through the last door.

Immediately the zombie boss noticed me. I had the guns loaded and I made sure the zombie knew that by pumping the zombie up close with ten rounds of shotgun shells.

This managed to lower the health of the zombie by about twenty percent.

But it would not just take all the shots. It took out a gun of its own, and to my horror, a much more advanced gun, a Glock 19. It pulled the trigger. I dashed to the side. The gun shot a bullet before the zombie quickly turned the gun to me and pulled the trigger once again.

It was better in every way, the gun is more powerful than the guns I had, it shot faster than most of them, and it was much easier to reload. And combine this with the boss which was much better at aiming, reacting, and much smoother in shorting, this is more dangerous than I thought.

It soon ran out of ammo and during this time I reloaded my shotguns before I pulled the trigger into his head this time. I enchanted the shots with my mana and some stamina. The bullets shredded the zombie boss, it also caused it drop the gun, I quickly placed the shot guns in the inventory before I got the Thompson submachine gun and started to blow the bullets into the zombie.

It was thrown back, it tried to reach for another gun but I charged forward and I brandished my machete. I then tried to kill the zombie there, but it anticipates this and kicked me in the stomach.

The force of the attack was much higher than I anticipated, I was thrown across the room and was slammed into the wall. Making a small crater. I looked up and saw the zombie boss with what seemed to be a light machine gun, I aimed the gun at me and opened fire.

I did what I thought right, I ran out the door and hide behind one of the corners. As I made the turn the zombie pulled the trigger and opened fire. The wall that was in front of me was riddled with holes. I had an idea, even if it was intelligent, it was still somewhat slow. I used the climb skill and later the climb skill and hung from the ceiling.

The zombie then stopped shooting and then started to walk. It went down the room and through the door. It then made the turn and was ready to shoot. But it didn't see me, I brandished my machete and then I dropped, I pushed from the ceiling and dug the machete deep into the head of the zombie.

It struggled, it charged into a wall and slammed me into it. But I held on. It then tried to flail around, but I held on. I took a knife from my inventory and then stabbed it into the head of the zombie once again.

At this the zombie went full rampage and started to charge around the base, ramming me into walls and other things it could find. But just as I took damage with each hit, it too took damage. It was not only chipping my health, but its own. Took a grenade from the inventory and then pulled the pin. I let go of the striker lever. After two seconds I stuffed the grenade into the mouth of the zombie which had started to tear open. I then forced the mouth shut before I jumped away from the zombie, pushing it into a wall.

The grenade exploded and the zombie was blown up. I got up and looked at the zombie and my face slightly paled. It was alive, or as alive as a zombie could get. It lost its jaws and part of the neck, it looked straight into my eyes and charged at me. I took my machete and remembered it was still in the head of the zombie. I took out a combat knife and started to attack the zombie back. I slashed its arms and legs, barely dodging each attack, or so it felt, but soon I realized that the zombie boss was really only dangerous because of its weapons. And now without them it was easy pickings.

I took out an old weapon, a crowbar, one that hits harder the more consecutive strike you landed, only increasing the attack by about one pound. I tripped the zombie causing it to fall to the ground, this is when I smacked it on the head. It did a bit of damage, but not by too much. It got up and charged once again. But I repeated the process and kept on attacking it like that.

Each hit got it closer to death but also slightly smarter, even if it was smarter it was still as dumb as a rock however but what was interesting was the skill he got.

"How interesting." I said before I wacked the zombie with all my strength, killing it in a single shot. I then looked at the rewards I got and… nothing impressive, even the Glock and the light machine gun were not added. Legit nothing but EXP and a knife. Nothing else, just those two items that I can easily get anytime.

"My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined." I said. But there is more, or at least there should be, there was another door in the room the boss was in and if anything I learned from the dungeon is that something is in that room.

I walked to it and busted it open.
