After doing his exercise, Cao Cao practiced his Senjutsu.
It was at the basic level, that in a way, you can't call it actual Sage Arts but more of manipulating ki.
Ki, something that can be found on every living creature. To be precise, their vitality.
Being able to do various things like strengthening their bodies or amplify attacks, Ki is surely a useful ability, especially by humans.
The Hero Descendant looked at his palm and summoned a wisp of Ki.
"Truly fascinating." He looked at his hand and clenched it. So far, he could feel the energy amplifying his hand, it's like putting a glove or a gauntlet in this case.
Summoning his spear, he once again practiced his martial arts while also integrating his Ki.
'Just like yesterday.' Closing his eyes, Cao Cao tried tapping into the state he used against Bikou.
From birth, the Hero Descendant possesses immense talent, just like the original Cao Cao, it isn't an exaggeration to call him the most talented human in the world.
But at the end, talent is just talent, without work to put on, it'll be wasted.
*Swish* *Swoosh*
Cao Cao trained with his spear. Thrusts, Twists, any skill related to spear, he's forcing his body to learn it.
Time passed and Cao Cao stopped his training.
'That was refreshing.' The combination of Ki usage with his spear did wonders.
"Yo." Turning around, he saw his monkey friend waving at him.
It's afternoon, he'd been training all morning.
"Sup Bikou." Recalling his Sacred Gear, The Warlord Descendant greeted back.
"Gramps is looking for us buddy." With a nervous expression, Bikou informed his friend of the 'bad' news.
'Oh shoot.' Remembering how he broke his staff, Cao Cao broke into cold sweat.
'Surely he won't get angry right?'

Sitting on his cloud, Sun Wukong looked at his two disciples.
He was taking care of the rats and bugs around the country, nothing usual for him. Lord Indra asks for more unreasonable things.
Imagine his surprise when he found out that Riyu Jingu Bang was damaged.
Bikou couldn't fight properly without his staff so eventually, he came to find him to fix the staff.
"Cao Cao, what exactly happened?" Directly calling his name, Sun Wukong asked the culprit. In normal circumstances, he would be calling him 'boy or even brat' but this is a serious question.
He couldn't believe that the True Longinus can release that power on an early stage, by a kid nonetheless.
Seeing his teacher without the usual carefree aura of him but more of a serious one, the Hero Descendant immediately explained their battle.
"I was trying to tap into Senjutsu mid battle, I was…just focusing, teacher. After that, it just happened." Cao Cao didn't tell any lies, he truly doesn't know what happened aside from him trying to use Senjutsu while fighting.
Is it related to his Sacred Gear?
Sun Wukong blew his pipe and thought. He wasn't angry about the staff, repairing it would be easy, but how the Sacred Gear responded and damaged such a weapon is indeed strange in itself.
"Is that so? Well then, I'm gonna repair Riyu Jingu Bang. Bikou leave, Cao Cao, you stay." Still calling him by his name, he dismissed his descendant.
Bikou wanted to say more. He was worried that his partner might get in trouble but Cao Cao assured him. In the end, the Youkai left, leaving the master and disciple alone.
"Teacher, I apologize for your magic staff." The Hero Descendant bowed.
"As I said, it's no matter, I'm more curious about what happened after." The Monkey King wasn't bothered about that staff, he has a lot stocked up anyway.
"I just tried integrating my Senjutsu into my movements….. And also relied on my intuition to fight. After that, my body was in pain…. Like I pushed too far or something." Cao Cao rubbed the back of his neck, seemingly remembering the pain.
Sun Wukong blew his pipe and did not say anything. He noticed that Cao Cao's senses are … sharp. Inhumanly so.
But abandoning your senses and forcing your intuition to respond in battle? He's not gonna lie, he found it impressive… that he only came out with a strain that is.
"What about that spear of yours? Is there any change?" The Buddha asked his disciple.
"Ummm, No teacher," Cao Cao thought for a while but remembered something, "On second thought, there is something but i can't put my finger on it. Like there's something odd about my Sacred Gear."
The Great Sage Equaling Heaven narrowed his eyes in his blindfold. As expected, no way a Sacred Gear won't respond in that situation, especially considering that such artifacts respond with the user's desire and thoughts.
Unfortunately, he's not a Sacred Gear expert. He won't be able to provide much information in that area.
"I see. Chaos Brat, continue your training." Back to his previous carefree self, Sun Wukong dismissed his disciple.
He has things to do. It's time to make a call it seems.

"Damn, and here I thought you'd come out with a black eye." Bikou made a joke to his friend. This is the first time his staff got damaged that it needed to be repaired like that.
He wasn't sure what his ancestor's reaction to that but considering it's his partner in his legend and that he was… chaotic, Bikou assumed the worst and prayed to Buddha to at least be gentle to his friend.
Imagine pissing off his Gramps, couldn't be him.
"Wow, thanks for the support. I really feel your care." Sarcasm dripped in Cao Cao's voice. He wasn't going to lie, he did feel nervous. It's like he damaged an expensive painting.
A painting made by a monster.
Although he didn't think that the Monkey King was that unreasonable, who knows how would he react?
"Hey, look on the bright side, it's over now. In a few days, I'm gonna get my staff back and it will look as good as new." Bikou thumbed to himself.
"Kinda bored that I won't be able to spar with you though." It seems that the Future Monkey king wasn't keen on fighting without his beloved staff.
Figures, Cao Cao would be the same if he isn't using True Longinus.
"Well buddy, I'm gonna go first. I need to be there after Riyu Jingu Bang is repaired." Like waiting for his wife, Bikou dashed back to his ancestor's place. Wait for me, my staff!
Looking at his friend leaving, Cao Cao sighed to himself.
Time to continue training.
