DxD: Heavenly Spear Emperor

Not much, I feel underwhelmed about the True Longunis in the original novel DxD So I wondered, what if it was explored more? This is the story of the descendant of the Chinese Warlord Cao Cao. Read it for your own sake. https://discord.gg/denoffanfics

Departure

The rising sun in Mount Huaguo symbolizes a new day.

*Woosh!*

However, not everyone will watch this scenery nor do they waste their time to do so.

*Woosh!*

Two blurs collided and sparks flew off, creating a shockwave around them but despite this, it still continued.

*Woosh!*

The blurs keep moving around from what it seems to be a battlefield. Left, right, up, down, they continue battling each other out, forcing the other one to submit.

An unknown time passed, the blurs finally stopped, showing the figure of a handsome Chinese man and an armored monkey Youkai.

"Damn buddy, you're getting good." The monkey Youkai, Bikou complimented. Years have passed and the Monkey Youkai has gotten taller.

"Nezha would be furious if I didn't do better. Besides, you're not bad yourself. The teacher is really doing you the good stuff eh?" A 14 year old Cao Cao complimented his friend. Just like the original novel, he wears the same japanese gakuran and Chinese clothing around his waist.

7 years have passed since he trained under the Team Journey to the West, he has grown taller over the years.

In his 7 years of training, he experienced various hardships and pain. He did not regret it though, he can see the results. Then again, he would've been a failure if he learned nothing from them.

"Well, Gramps won't stop talking about you getting your assed kicked by the geezers. He did the same to me as he calls it, 'ideal training' for me." Bikou shuddered. One can imagine what kind of training the Victorious Fighting Buddha gave to his descendant.

"By the way, it's time right? I heard you're gonna leave today." Although Bikou said it casually, one could hear sadness from it. They spent years training together after all.

"Yes," Cao Cao replied. "Are you gonna be sad? It's okay, you know. We can still contact each other." He tried to lighten the atmosphere with a joke.

"Fuck off! I was just asking so that I can give you an ass kicking that you'll never forget." Bikou scoffed at his friend's words.

They looked at each other for a while and burst out laughing.

"Well, since it's my last day here. I'm gonna give you some bruises as a souvenir." Cao Cao cockily adjusted his sleeves.

After that, they both continued fighting, enjoying this moment of theirs.

"It's time, Chaos Brat." Sun Wukong looked at his disciple. Seven years passed like a blink of an eye. He taught him all of his knowledge about Senjustu and some taoist arts. Seeing his disciple that has grown up, the Monkey King couldn't help but be proud.

"Don't disappoint us, I didn't teach a coward." Nezha said to his student. He had refined his spearmanship and martial arts and as such, he doesn't want him to have a bad reputation once he goes outside.

Zhu Baijie and Sha Wujing nodded. They dedicated their time teaching this brat.

Yu-Long didn't say anything and only looked intently at Cao Cao.

"Great Dragon King, is there something that mattered?" Seeing Yu-Long act like that, he couldn't help but smile wryly. Is there something wrong?

"Although I don't think you are like your ancestor, don't shame us. Follow your dream, have pride and honor about it." Contrary to his usual lazy expression. The Jade Dragon King said his advice with full seriousness.

Cao Cao nodded. He's not planning to waste their efforts.

"Sheesh, can't really say much aside from go out there and kick their ass." Bikou scratched his head using his tail and gave a thumbs up.

Cao Cao chuckled before looking at his teachers and kowtowing.

"For years of having the patience to teach me. I thank you all with all of my heart! I swear I won't disgrace your names!" Cao Cao knocked his head three times. This is him expressing his gratitude in front of them. In these years, they are the people he considered family.

The Buddhas nodded.

"Rise, there is no need to kowtow. Achieving your dreams and staying on the honorable path is your payment to us." The Hero of Battles said.

Rising on his feet, Cao Cao nodded and called. "Kinto-un."

A floating golden cloud came to him. This is the gift of his master. The floating cloud Kinto-un.

As he was about to ride, he heard Nezha calling him.

"Cao Cao, since Wukong has given you a gift. As your teacher, I also prepared a gift for you." The Hero of Battles held his chin.

Cao Cao was about to refuse as his teachings are enough but before he could say anything, Nezha summoned a qiang, a chinese spear.

"This is the replica of Fire-Tipped Spear, it's weaker than the original as you don't have divinity but it should be enough to act as a substitute for the True Longinus." The Hero of Battles handed the spear to Cao Cao, who in turn accepted it.

"You should know that having the True Longinus in your possession would make you a target. So far, aside from the Governor-General of Grigori and us, no one knows you have it." Sun Wukong pointed out. 'Lord Indra too.' He added in his mind.

Nezha nodded. "Indeed, with this spear, you can hide the True Longinus as your card."

Cao Cao gripped the qiang and did a little twirl.

'The weight is good.' He thought. Although it did leave a bad taste in his mouth that he'll be using another spear, he knows that they are right.

Once he leaves Mount Huaguo, no one will back him up. He's not his teacher's responsibility anymore, so he'll need to be cautious outside.

The remaining two Buddhas also gave their gifts.

Packing those things up, Cao Cao did another bow before riding on his floating cloud.

"Go, Kinto-un." Ordering his cloud to fly, Cao Cao waved his hand to his teachers and friend, saying his goodbyes.

They returned the same wave, and as Cao Cao was flying far away, he heard his master Sun Wukong's shout.

"Fuck some girls brat!" Cao Cao almost fell on his cloud.

"Damn you!! Master!!"

"You think the brat is gonna be alright?" Sha Wujing asked his fellow companions.

"We don't know, we can only hope that it will be that way." Sun Wukong blew his pipe while staring at Cao Cao's disappearing figure.

"He has a hero bloodline and a Longinus, he can handle it." Yu-Long said with a huff.

"My rival is tough." Bikou replied.

Nezha didn't say anything and only stared at the distance where Cao Cao's figure was last seen.

'How far can humans go huh?'
