DxD: A Scrapyard Mechanic's

A street rat with an uncanny affinity for machines reincarnates into a world he, now she, has no knowledge of. Being a child again in the wrong gender at that was a bit weird, but that was nothing compared to finding out what sort of beings she was now living amongst. She shrugged her shoulders "Well as long as they don't mess with my scrapyard."

Chapter - 9

Repeating this for a few times she quickly grew bored, the only thing that changed was the amount of students in each room.

A couple of minutes later the two arrived in front of a door. Knocking a few times the devil waited for a bit before being called inside and entered, closing the door behind him.

Koko being left behind glared at the door for a bit before leaning against the it and listening in.

"-rything going smoothly?"

She heard the male devil ask before a female voice answered.

"Yes Okita-sama, the school is prepared for Rias-sama and Sona-sama to be transferred in as seamlessly as possible. "

"Good work. "

Koko heard the devil sigh slightly before speaking again, grumbling slightly

"Honestly. All this extra work because of little Rias being so adamant about attending a Japanese high school.

I suppose I shouldn't be surprised with how Sirzechs-sama is, but was it really necessary to be this far into Shinto territory? Not to mention the Youkai Faction which isn't very far away either, I'm honestly surprised they agreed to let them stay here at all. "

". .

. "

"Well I suppose my job is done here for now, keep up the good work. "

"Of course, Okita-sama. "

Stepping away from the door Koko watched as the devil walked out, closed the door behind him and started walking back the way they came from. Looking at his back getting further down the hall Koko had an idea, a mischievous smirk making it's way onto her face.

Walking back out of the school building, Okita made his way behind the school and towards the abandoned building slightly further away halfway covered by the forest.

Heaving a sigh he continued grumbling.

"Why couldn't Surtr or Beowulf get sent instead, they barely do anything either way, but noooo, send poor Okita Souji why don't yo-"

Instantly appearing a few meter to the left he crouched slightly and put a hand on the hilt of his sword in a combat ready stance as he looked behind him out of the corner of his eye as his previous position got sprayed by some pink liquid.

"Aw man, I missed! You're pretty fast, you know?"

Hearing a voice from behind him he immediately jumped forward while turning mid air and sending a quick probing slash in the voice's direction. Hitting what looked to be a speaker hovering in the air, it quickly dissolved in pixels before disappearing.

Looking around more vigilant this time, he spoke up languidly.

"Well, that wasn't very nice. "

Hearing the rustling of leaves he half turned and watched as a girl that looked to be slightly older than Rias walk out of the shrubbery. She had wild red hair a few tones darker than the shade he was familiar with and sharp red eyes with a fierce air to her that slightly reminded him of a mini Bahamut, though it was offset by the slight pout on her face as she spoke up.

"Why'd you have to dodge?"

". .

. "

A bit taken aback by her nonchalant attitude after sort of ambushing him, it took Okita a few moments to gather his wits as he looked her over.

Even though he didn't feel much mana from her, his battle hardened instincts told him that she was pretty dangerous, even to him, which wasn't something he saw every day. He knew that there were many beings far stronger than him but someone that strong just popping up was rare as most were already well established in the supernatural world.

Feeling that she wasn't actively malicious he decided to just talk to her normally.

"Should I not have?"

He saw her nod.

"That's right. "

". .

. "

He had a weird feeling that everyone that ever had a problem with his laid back attitude had cursed him to meet this girl in revenge.

"So, what's a male devil doing in an all female school? Are you a pervert?"

Letting out a deep sigh, he mentally prepared for the headache he was sure she was going to give him by the end of this meeting as he rubbed his temples.

"No, I'm just doing some grunt work for my king. "

"In an all female school? Are you really sure you're not just a pervert?"

"I'm very sure, yes. "

He looked up into the sky and wondered what he had done to deserve this, he just wanted to quickly get the inspection done with and then go relax for a while, was that too much to ask for? He shouted for justice in his mind while grumpily complaining.

"What's with today's youth, no respect for the elderly at all. "

"Are you an elderly?"

Hearing the girl speak up again, he looked back at her.

"Yes, I'm probably older than your great-great-grandfather. "

"More than 100 years old?"

"Yes. "

"Oh. .

. "

". .

. "

"Century Geezer. "

"Ghk!?"

Okita felt his eye twitching in annoyance as his hands balled into fists, he wasn't sure how much longer he could continue talking to her before his mental faculties decided to take a vacation. Deciding to try and end this encounter as soon as possible he spoke up again, though his smile this time was slightly strained.

"Did you need anything else?"

The girl took a thinking pose as she hummed in thought for a few moments before replying.

"Nope!"

"Then I will take my leave. "

"Kay, see ya later Century Geezer. "

". .

. "

The girl nodded before quickly taking off while waving back at him before disappearing into the forest. Okita Souji, the knight of Satan Lucifer himself stood still as a statue, as if time itself had frozen, with an indecipherable expression on his face.

Emerging from questioning life a few minutes later he decided that he'd had enough for today and quickly teleported back to the underworld to report.

A few moments later, Koko's head peeked out of the shrubbery looking at the spot the devil stood before teleporting away. After waiting for a few minutes to make sure he really was gone, Koko quickly made her way over to where he stood before.
