If Marco had to rank the three scariest things in his life #1 would definitely be when he tried to teach Aqua and Ruby how to seduce. #2 was probably when he almost died back in that hellhole he grew up in and the current situation was a close third.
"What did you say you stupid albino lizard!?" The booming voice of Ddraig was loud enough to shatter entire cities' eardrums and filled with enough indignation to light the seas ablaze. Of course, he wasn't the only one angered.
"Take that back Albion!" The deep voice of Ordes was equally as frightening as the Red Dragon Emperor's own though Marco would admit that he was less afraid of the Blue Dragon Emperor than the first two. That was probably because he knew the kid so well though.
"Never! Vali is much better than that master of yours!" Unflinching at the anger of two heavenly dragons the White Dragon Emperor was far from what Marco expected. Hell, he didn't expect any of the three emperors to be nearly as childish as they were.
"What drivel. Are we not in the midst of a war." Accompanying that bone chilling voice was a blast of deathly energy so large it towered over the biggest mountains Marco had ever seen. It was a monstrous attack but luckily Marco had some monsters on his side as well.
"""SHUT UP!""" The three emperors shouted at the same time, four blasts of differently colored 'flames' shooting from their snouts and effortlessly dispersing the blast of pure death. Those four blasts continued toward their opponent before crashing into Hades' barrier and creating an explosion large enough to make the atomic bomb a firecracker.
"Woah!" Shouting in surprise the boy that had been sent with them nearly fell from the force of the explosion, the purple flames that surrounded him only barely stopping him. Catching the kid Marco shot him a charming grin.
"Don't fall down now kid. You're the cornerstone here." Slapping the kid on the back he buckled slightly but didn't fall luckily enough. The two rode on the head of Ordes, the only dragon willing to let them at Damian's behest, and they played a vital role.
It was somewhat cruel considering this was his first major battle but the seventeen year old kid who had just barely entered the supernatural world would have to fight against Hades with them. As the most important piece no less.
"Haha! Did you see that? MINE went the farthest!" Cackling like a madman Crom Crauch unhesitatingly gloated to his fellow heavenly dragons. He had yet to be crowned an emperor but the Cresent Circle dragon was not far behind those three.
"That's only because yours was slower!" Making an excuse like a child the Red Dragon Emperor's mouth opened wide once more, ever burning flames dancing in his maw before shooting forward like a flash of blazing light.
Opening their jaws without even waiting for the dust to settle from Ddraig's strike an absurd amount of energy gathered within their mouths. The last attack was just their breath but this time they enhanced it with their origin.
Breath enhanced with Eternity, Supremacy, and Crescent crashed into the shield of Hades with enough force to destroy entire civilizations. Marco didn't want to test it out but he was willing to bet that attack could destroy the entirety of America.
"Is that all?" Yet, when the dust settled Hades was unharmed. All that the attack had managed to accomplish was a small crack in the God of the Dead's barrier that had already been repaired. As the ninth strongest being, Hades was no weakling.
Shooting from Ordes' palm Marco created sonic booms in his wake, his spear coated in purple flames and azure lightning. Stabbing into the shield it put up little to no resistance, his spear penetrating it and approaching Hades in the blink of an eye.
Effortlessly slapping away his spear with his boney staff Hades was hardly perturbed by Marco's presence. Marco was a powerful fighter but he was young and he was no Damian Thaumiel. He couldn't hope to bridge the gap born from age like his King could.
However, when a black rope wrapped around the God's wrist and pulled his arm he realized what had been done. The power of the rope was familiar to him even if he had never been on the receiving end. It was the familiar energy theft of Vritra.
"So this is the power of Vritra… how underwhelming." Pulling the rope Hades expected the boy standing at the other end to come flying at him and he was certainly not wrong. He did not expect the boy to become the Prison Dragon himself mid flight, however.
Giggling like fools the four emperors also made their way over, their teeth excitedly aimed toward Hades all while Vritra desperately pulled against the God's weight. The situation was not in his favor, not in the slightest.
Hades could either remove Vritra from the equation at the expense of extreme damage or ignore the black dragon in favor of defending himself. Both choices were poor but the latter would put him in a worse situation due to the limitations born from the black dragon.
The rope wrapped around him made controlling his energy extremely difficult, the worst kind of curse that could be put onto a mage like himself. It was for that reason that Hades raised his staff at Vritra, deathly energy manifesting into existence around its tip.
Shooting forward the beam moved at a speed rivaling light itself and contained more than enough power to destroy the half assed manifestation of the Black Dragon King. He expected to see the lizard's guts and blood spread through the air as their plan went up in smoke.
Yet when he saw the crimson arm flying in the air he was beyond confused. The four heavenly dragons were by far the strongest forces in this battle, for one of them to lose an arm to save Vritra was unexpected to the extreme.
"Don't get so surprised!" Laughing wildly Ddraig's fist, the very same fist Hades had just torn off, crashed into the God's body. Laying on the ground for a moment Hades couldn't believe what he had seen. A dragon did not have the power to regenerate much less so quickly…
"How irritating." Grunting in annoyance Hades calmly raised his staff above his head, the blasts of energy raining down on him doing little to destroy it. The strike from Ddraig had cracked a few of his bones. It was far from fatal but damage may add up quickly.
The only possible answer Hades could find to Ddraig's odd regeneration was his source Damian Thaumiel. That man was said to have a soul capable of producing infinite energy while the dragons had the power to do the same. Somehow that must have allowed this regeneration.
"I'll just have to kill you in one blow." Accompanying the God's vow was an unnatural gathering of deathly energy. Energy from all over the realm that had been building for centuries flowed to Hades, his body radiating enough energy to push him up a few ranks…
