Finally!! Some action

"Me?!"

"Yeah, you!!" As he replied, his voice was trembling, he was obviously shy.

The only thing swinging in his mind was the trophy, although he said it out loudly about giving her the trophy, he had no intention to do that.

Marie phone began ringing continuously to end the silence in the environment, only her phone sound echoed through out the whole room.

"Excuse me, I'm going to take this call!". She said as she walked away, making her way towards the front door.

"shit, for the last 5 hours there has been no action, what kind of future is this?? At least I was not so bored in my past life, anyways, I have to make some action happen"

Marie walked into the room with her phone on her left hands.

"Pardon my imprudence!"

"Hmmm, imprudence, such a way of saying disrespectfulness" he thought as he nodded his head in accordance to what she said.

"How about we have our own little competition before on Saturday??" Finally he asked, breaking the silence in the room once again.

"Alright, do you have another computer that I can use??"

They both walked into the room, Ye xui knows that he'll surely win her, but he still invited her, this was clearly an act of Wickedness and proudness.

Marie Wu, being a self independent young girl still decided to play with him, even though she knew she would lose.

"Alright, have a seat here!" Ye xui said pointing at the well furnished chair facing the computer.

She sat down confidently as if she planned this all out.

"How about we place a bet…you know, to make this more fun??" Ye xui asked her

"Alright, if you win, I'll go on a date with you, but if I win you'll make me a signed player on duty!!" Marie finally said, she thought that Ye xui would bluntly refuse the offer but to her surprise…..

"Fine, let's get this game started" Ye xui said as he sat down and powered on his computer.

"Welcome back to duty, would you like to create a private or public room?" the AI in the game asked.

"Private"

"Alright then, would you be playing with a friend or computer??"

"Friend"

"What's the name of your friend??"

He turned towards her and wanted to ask her what was the name she used in duty, but she wasn't deaf, she could hear the AI all along.

"It's Marie Wu" She answered herself to the Al.

"Alright, Welcome Ye xui, the game will begin in a couple seconds, players should endeavor to put on a headset for a more better sound effect and also...….."

Ye Xui immediately tapped on the skip button, he was eager to start this fight. They both put on their headset and set their hands towards the computer and in a few minutes time the game started.

Ye Xui gave the first strike, his consciousness went into the game.

On the outside, he could be seen controlling it, but on the game he was actually fighting with Marie Wu. This was the advanced version of Duty.

He didn't expect duty to be as it was 100 years ago, many things was expected to change but he did not think this far.

He jumped towards Marie, waving his spear he gave a down strike attack.

That strike immediately removed ten percent of Marie life making it to reduce towards ninety. Marie returned his strike with a forward attack. But that was easily dodged by Ye xui, he jumped towards her back and gave her a 10 combo attack then he took a 360° turn and gave her a fire kick. This removed another ten percent from Marie life whereas ye xui life was still untouched.

Marie gathered a pulse of energy on her staff, jumped up and directed the strike towards ye xui. If this strike was directed to normal duty Players, it was impossible to dodge but ye xui was no ordinary player, he was the top player for a reason he jumped up, deflected her attack with another down strike attack. Then he followed with a spear aiming towards her chest and punched her backwards.

Marie life decrease by 30 percent once again making her to be only on 50hp.

She changed forward once more, jumped into the air and performed her special atk. She gathered the pulse on her staff and ignited it with fire once again, then she too a 60° twist towards the ground. Ye xui could clearly not dodge this one, instead he held his spear, and immediately charged up his body. His body was emitting out flames then he charged towards her too with his own skill, the two fighters clashed in the air, the outcome of this fight may either end one life and one may live or end both of them lives.

The place was filled with white light, and nothing could be seen.

Who will win Ye xui or Marie Wu??
