Through the slime dungeon, Kalle and his army of goblins encountered more than just two types of slime.

Kalle and the three shamans could easily deal with most of the slime types as the curse of weakening was that good in dealing with slimes.

When they met slimes that could summon earth walls to protect themselves and earth spikes to attack their enemies, Kalle just summoned Grux to help the shamans to buy them time to finish their curses.

The earth slimes had a much further detection range due to their affinity with earth and it enabled them to notice Kalle and the three shaman's steps while they walked on the ground.

Hence when they stopped to cast their spells, the earth slimes, who had a certain level of intelligence could guess that they were up to something despite their mana sense couldn't detect the three yet.

Fortunately, Kalle could detect the spell that the earth slimes cast beneath their feet and saved him and the three shamans from being skewered by an earth spike.

Kalle also quickly thought of his plan of using Grux as the decoy as he told the goblin warrior to charge forward and take the earth slime's attention.

With Grux closing in and becoming a real threat to the earth slimes, they ignored the four unmoving entities behind Grux so that Kalle and the shamans could cast their curses with ease.

The second the curse hit, a few fireballs or even Grux's bone axes that were enchanted with mana could deal with the slimes that were essentially unable to do anything with the mana in their bodies falling to chaos.

So did the water slimes, which wasn't too difficult compared to the wind slimes, the only difference was that Kalle needed to swim across a lake and summon more goblin warriors to swim and kill the water slimes inside the lake.

However, a problem finally came with his method when he met the fire slimes.

Essentially, they were not that much different from the wind slimes as they had a simple ability to summon a fireball and were resistant to fire.

Even though their latter ability might have looked like a problem for Kalle and the shamans since the only real ranged damage spell they knew was a fireball, it wouldn't be a significant problem as even the ordinary goblins would be able to deal with them with their enchant weapon.

But that would only be the case if the curses had hit them and made them as vulnerable as the other slimes when hit by the curse of weakening.

They couldn't detect presence from far away like the earth slimes and they couldn't dodge as fast as a bullet like the wind slime, but there was one characteristic of the fire slime, or rather, the abundant fire mana that the fire slimes had in their bodies.

Kalle and the shamans could cast their curses with ease without being disrupted and the curse did hit the fire slimes.

However, the effect of the curses wasn't something that Kalle had hoped to see.

Kalle walked in closer to the fire slimes so that he could sense the mana properly and found out what was going on when the curses hit the fire slimes.

The dark mana did as they usually did, invading another creature and wreaking havoc in their bodies by disrupting their mana flow.

However, when Kalle got near and paid close attention to the mana inside the fire slimes' bodies, he found out that the fire mana didn't bow down to the dark mana as easily as the other element.

When dark mana invaded his body and pushed his mana all over the place, the mana in his body barely fought back and just let the dark mana do what it wanted without Kalle's strong willpower.

That was also what had happened so far with the other slimes.

But when the dark mana tried to do the same to the fire slimes, the fire mana inside the slimes' bodies didn't just back down when an unknown entity tried to order it around.

The dark mana tried to send the fire mana all over the place and mess up the slime's control over it, but the fire mana stood their ground, forcing their way to do what they wanted even with the interference of the dark mana.

As a result, although the curse did work, the effect was minimal as the fire slime was still able to hold its body structure properly albeit sometimes losing control of it for just a second or two.

To check whether he could just send his goblin warrior to end the fire slimes, Kalle tested it out with an ordinary goblin first since losing 1 dungeon point was much safer than losing 20 if anything went wrong.

Kalle's doubt turned out to be justified as when the goblin got close enough, the fire slime detected it and threw out a fireball that was stronger than the shaman's fireball, even with the curse still affecting its body.

The fireball was as big as the slime's own body and the explosion that it created was capable of covering several meters radius with ease.

If the shaman's fireball was able to cover Kalle's whole body, then the fire slime's fireball was capable of covering multiple Kalles standing next to each other and turning these Kalles into char.

Remembering the wind slime that could slice apart 5 goblins with ease, the earth slimes that could make an earth wall a few meters tall and a meter thick using one simple spell, and the water slime that could shoot water balls and water blades from tens of meters below the lake, Kalle could only understand if the fire slime didn't lose out in terms of strength.

But still, he didn't have much time to be amazed by the fire slime's prowess.

Its prowess was a problem that Kalle needed to handle.

'It's even immune to its own spell because it's immune to fire. Making it attack the goblins when they were close enough to hurt itself was futile…'

Seeing the fire slime that kept on existing peacefully even with the curse of weakening assaulting its body, Kalle tried to think of a way out of his problem.

Kalle was stuck and he almost thought about using drastic measures such as telling the goblin warriors to do a kamikaze with their berserk skills to kill as many fire slimes as possible before their time ran out.

However, when he took another good look at the fire slimes he realized something.

Even though the curses seemed to have done nothing to the resilient fire slimes, Kalle could still see the fire slimes struggling with the curse as they sometimes seemed to have lost control of their mana for a short amount of time.

Then a thought entered Kalle's mind,

'What if I put in more dark mana to wreak even more havoc inside their bodies…?'

With that thought, Kalle told all three of his goblin shamans to cast their curse of weakening simultaneously.

Of course, he also joined them and they all targeted the fire slimes in front of them.

4 pentagrams made out of dark mana then appeared above the goblin shamans and Kalle's heads.

Dark mana began to fill up this certain part of the cave as they all converged toward the 4 pentagrams as they all began completing the pentagrams.

The amount of dark mana was so much and potent that even Grux and the goblin warriors that Kalle had summoned before began trembling on their feet when they sensed the convergence of dark mana.

Finally, after some time, the 4 pentagrams were finally completed and they all shattered at the same time.

The 4 pentagrams fully made out of the eerie dark mana exploded and blasted dark mana all over the place before they all went into their targets.

The fire slimes in front of Kalle's group were ignorant about the dark mana, but when the wave of potent dark mana finally hit them, they all couldn't do anything anymore.

Forget about resisting the curse, the fire slimes couldn't even struggle to keep their body shape up as they all turned to a puddle of red liquid.

An unmoving puddle of liquid.

The dark mana that rampaged their bodies was so potent and abundant that the existing mana in their bodies couldn't even move as the dark mana occupied all the spaces inside the slime's bodies.

Their flaming, red color, being the symbol of the resilient flame had also started disappearing as the dark mana corrupted them.

The bright red puddle of liquid on the ground turned dark maroon as the dark mana had made the slimes' bodies their new homes.

With their bodies in such a state, Kalle just ordered the goblin warriors to walk up to them and smack them with their enchanted bone axes.

And that's the end of the fire slimes.

Kalle repeated the strategy several times, stopping a few times to replenish the dungeon points since he needed to re-summon the goblin shamans so that they wouldn't run out of mana.

As for himself, Kalle stopped joining them casting the curse as it was too much and two curses of weakening stacked on top of each other were enough to make even the fire slimes like the other slimes and he needed to save up his mana.

He knew that there was no way that he would only need to defeat the different types of slimes to clear the dungeon.

He saved up his mana in order to fight against the dungeon boss.

Just like right now, Kalle took several deep breaths and unsummoned all his creatures that cost dungeon points to summon and let all his dungeon points regenerate.

He stood silently in front of a huge stone door that stood at what seemed like the end of the cave that he had been traversing for so long.

His instincts told him that it was where the dungeon boss resided, which meant that he was now only one step away from reaching his goal.

He was one step away from getting more dungeon points and possibly the ability to summon all the slimes that he had defeated so far.
