Ok.

"Kreee!" The three goblins with silvery blue streaks on their bodies shouted out loud in the middle of the forest.

And of course, with the goblin army being on their guard, they all soon recognized the provocation Kalle's minions were throwing at them.

All three of them soon gathered the goblin army towards them.

But before they could be surrounded from all sides, the three goblins started running out of the encirclement.

Of course, their path was blocked by several goblins.

However, with the contract they had with Kalle, their strength was above those ordinary goblins and they could easily smash their way through the goblins blocking their way.

Soon, the three goblins ran away with the goblin army now following closely behind them.

The three goblins could use their improved leap skill to eventually get away from the army chasing after them, but Kalle had already told them his plan and what role they played in it.

What they needed to do was to make sure the goblin army was focused on them.

The second thing they had to do was to run in certain directions that Kalle had told them.

With the goblin army already chasing after them, what they were currently doing right now was the second part of the plan.

They turned left and right, running straight, then turning again.

With such a large number of goblins on their tails, there were bound to be several of them that lagged behind in the chase.

Those few, who got mildly separated from the group would then find themselves faced with the unknown human that appeared out of nowhere.

They were caught off guard and they couldn't do anything.

Some of them couldn't even raise their weapons before their heads were blasted to pieces.

There were some other goblins who noticed their friends being attacked, but the moment they wanted to turn back and target the unknown attacker, he just moved very fast and disappeared back into the forest.

There were two reactions to seeing the unknown attacker between the goblins at the back of the line.

One chose to ignore the human after seeing him disappear so fast and continued pursuing with the army while the other one chose to try and run toward the direction in which the unknown attacker had disappeared.

The former gets to stay alive for longer while the latter never comes back to the group, disappearing forever in the forest.

The scene repeated itself a lot of times.

The goblin army would run through a certain spot. The ones in the front wouldn't notice anything while the goblins in the back found themselves assaulted by an unknown attacker.

The more times it happened, the goblin army began thinning down until finally there were only a few dozen of them remaining.

Seeing the army had dwindled down to half, Kalle smiled to himself as he prepared to assault the last batch of goblins before changing his plan again.

Their numbers were already small and it was already hard for him to find the few stragglers behind the group.

He couldn't use surprise attack again to kill the few goblins at the back anymore since there would be a huge chance that the whole group would have noticed him.

However, that wasn't really a problem anymore.

He was afraid that he couldn't handle 100 of those goblins at the same time.

But if it was only about 40, then Kalle had the confidence to do it.

Moreover, he wasn't in an open grass field now. He was currently inside a forest where tall huge trees exist everywhere and he could use them to his advantage.

And that's exactly what he did.

After doing his kill-and-disappear strategy for one last time, Kalle purposely didn't leap away to hide or run away and instead charged toward the middle of the group.

He kept supplying mana to his right hand and goblins started falling down in each passing second.

One swing of Kalle's silver staff was enough to take a goblin's life or even a couple of them if the circumstances were right.

"Go kill them, boys!" Kalle shouted out loud, telling his contracted goblins to turn around and start swinging their wooden clubs.

The battle between the 4 and the 50 quickly began and also ended fairly quickly.

With Kalle being the focus of the goblin army, his minions could slowly take their time to dwindle down the army while Kalle did the heavy work.

Whenever Kalle found himself surrounded from all sides by the goblins, he could simply use his leap skill to get away from the encirclement.

Some goblins tried using their leap skills to catch up to him, but the quality of the skill was different and they couldn't even reach his feet after jumping with full power.

After getting out of the encirclement, Kalle would begin his killing spree once again.

If he found a large group of goblins bundled up together, he would use the trees to break them up before assaulting them.

With the four of them working together, the goblin army was soon no more.

In the middle of the forest, 4 creatures, 1 human, and 3 goblins with unusual silver streaks on their skin stood tall amidst the corpses of dozens of goblins.

"Good job boys! We can-"

However, the human soon found himself dropping down on his butt.

"Eh?"

Kalle had been feeling light-headed for a while now.

Even when he still fought the goblins, he got the faint feeling of it.

However, the adrenaline coursing through his head numbed his overall senses and Kalle thought it was only his imagination.

Now that the fighting was over, Kalle finally realized that his light-headedness was already at a point where he constantly wanted to lay his head and close his eyes.

He had never felt like this before, so he assumed that it had something to do with his new conditions.

So he decided to ask the expert.

'Staff, what happened to me?'

'You almost ran out of mana.'

Kalle had been using his leap skill and enhanced his right hand with mana almost all the time.

'The fact that you can still stay awake even after doing all that was a testament to how high your mana capacity is.'

Feeling the lightheadedness not going away anytime soon, Kalle asked again,

'What do I need to do then?'

A short answer came from the staff.

'Rest.'

An even shorter answer came from Kalle.

'Ok.'

Kalle then stopped fighting his light-headedness and lay on the ground, closing his eyes, and began snoring right away.
