Waiting for his judgment. Edward started to think maybe this is not a good idea and began to regret his action. Why he did dogeza and not something cooler to impress the dark elf?

You can't blame Edward as he never found himself in this kind of situation, so he just did the first think that came to his mind despite it being a stupid idea.

what should I do now? Edward thought frantically as he started thinking his next move.

Edward started his second brainstorming session and squeeze every last bit of his brain juice to get himself out of this tricky situation but before he could come up with another idea the dark elf finally started responding.

"Pffft!! A ha ha ha ha", the dark elf suddenly started laughing.

The dark elf laughed unrestrained looking towards Edward stupid looking posture as this is the first time she ever saw someone doing that kind of thing in front of her.

"What are you doing that for" The dark elf said while still laughing.

She definitely didn't leave any face for the pitiful Edward as she laughed even harder than before until her stomach started to cramp.

Edward started to stand up as the situation started to calm down considerably. He stared at the dark elf, but eventually looked down "I have no idea either, I just panicked, okay".

Edward felt ashamed, She didn't have to laugh that hard. It's not even that funny.

The dark elf pointed her finger to Edward, "What kind of move is that, it looks ridiculous".

She finally started to talk as her laughing subsided a bit because of the cramp, even though it's still too loud for Edward standard.

"Hey, don't insult dogeza, this is a move passed down from ancient time by famous people" Edward said indignantly.

Edward started to make some kind of excuse to at least salvage some of his dignity.

The dark elf looked dubious "Is that true?".

The elf observing him a bit trying find out if he actually lied or speaking the truth.

"Actually, I have no idea either, the only thing I know about dogeza is desperate move to ask forgiveness" Edward said the truth as he didn't want to lie to his savior and worsen the situation.

She pointed toward Edward clothes "Alright then why are you here in the middle of Forest wearing nothing but strange outfit" the dark elf started to interrogating Edward.

As Edward didn't know what to do he's decided to tell the truth but with a bit omission as telling the full truth is just a one way ticket to asylum equivalent in fantasy world if that even exist.

Edward scratch his head "well I also want to know that, I didn't lie about being lose because the one time I was in my bed and after my eyes opened I was suddenly in the middle of a forest"

"okay that sound really ridiculous, did you hit your head or something" the dark elf tease him a bit

"Maybe" Edward said tiredly.

"Anyway let's go back to city, even though I still find you suspicious at least you're not a bad person as you made, me laugh out loud and it's dangerous here especially for you" the dark elf said while looking seriously at Edward.

As they started walking toward the city, the dark elf introduced herself "My name's Eris what's yours".

Edward stop while feeling surprised" mine is Edward Hill and thanks for saving me from the wolf".

Edward expressed his gratitude for Eris as she arrived on time to save him, he really thought his second chance will go to waste at the first day in different world's.

He suddenly remembered something " Eris what about that wolf corpse?".

"It's in my inventory, what about it?" Eris said without looking back.

There's also inventory in this world is it an item?, skill? or maybe inherent ability?. Edward thought as he decided to experiment on it later as he has to focus his attention avoiding the roots, and the like while walking in the forest.

Edward shrugged " nothing, I just thought you forgot it".

Eris frowned "No Hunters will forget it's prey".

"Eris, You are a hunter?" Edward said curiously as this is a first job he heard since coming to this world.

'Yeah, you're looking at the best hunter in the world". Eris said proudly while puffing her chest.

"The Best hunter in the world?". Edward said as he dubiously looked at Eris".

Eris grinned " maybe not now, but I will be in the future".

Eris stated her ambition confidently as they walked together. Edward could see the glimmer in her red eyes as she said that.

Edward looked admirably at Eris. He really respected someone like Eris someone who convinced that they will definitely achieve their dream.

"How can you be sure?" Edward asked as he was trying to find Eris source of confidence.

"To be the best, First, you have trust yourself and second is you have to trust yourself even more, confidence is the key for everything that was what my mother used to say to me" Eris said energetically.

"Eris, You really love your mother, don't you" Edward said trying to tease Eris to get some reaction from Eris.

"I respect my mother because she's the best hunter in the world, she's the only reason I am still not the best hunter". Eris said cheerfully as she clearly not bothered by Edward previous statement.

Disappointed by his failure to get the reaction that he wanted Edward fall silent along the way until they finally saw the city.

The city was built along a riverbank, protected by a tall Wall at least six meters tall, it was also surrounded by farms. Edward can see various people and briskly coming and going from the city gate and farmers plowing their land vigorously while sometimes chatted with their fellows farmer.

Stunned by his first sight of medieval city. Edward fell silent for a moment before suddenly Eris turned around facing him while smiling widely, "Edward, Welcome to Refia! ".
