These People

Once I arrived at the college, I immediately went to the restroom because I thought I was too late.

There's already so many people, so I thought the raid is going to be sooner. But even this event is a bit different.

When the 2 talking dudes walk in, that should be the sign that it's starting. However, they didn't talked about a monster sighting.

Instead, they're talking about the appearance of "Blue portal" around the country.

On the internet, no monster sighting is reported, just the blue portal.

The government had issued a statement telling mfs to not get near the portal and to report to the authority on portal location.

It's the internet however so people will do something stupid to get attention. Through this, I was able to learn a few things.

First, the portal led to a different dimensions, which had different environment. No monster in sight and it looks like there's a path that would led whoever dare to entered to somewhere, which I'm sure it went to where the monsters is.

Looking at this people entering and exiting freely without a care for their safety is irritating, but I hold myself from telling them to get away from the portal, because there's already a few people doing that and those clown won't listen.

There's also a timer on the portal, like a hologram it float on the top right corner counting down on a set time. I'm sure it's a timer before a Dungeon Break happen.

It also shows how much time it originally had and most them are counting down from 30 minutes, and the longest is 2 hours. That's only 2 type for now, and I'm sure a longer one will appear. The timer stopped when there's someone inside the portal.

The reason why people wanted to enter the portal is because it granted them the "Blue screen".

So you don't have to wait until you met a monster to get it now, just enters and exit the portal.

People is literally getting in line to get in and gained their "superpower". This people is so excited seeing their own stats and exploring the blue screen but did they even think why it appears? It should be clear that it meant for something that's not ordinary.

Ah, looking at this is giving me brain damage, I shouldn't looked at stupidity since I have enough already.

I should focus on these instead.

... So when is the raid going to happen? It's been a while.

I went out and heard some commotions on the ground floor.

Following it, I was led to the dining hall. I saw a crowd of people circling something in the middle. Some excited screams and loud cheering could be heard.

Slipping myself through the crowd, I get why they're so loud. It's the blue portal.

"What the fuk..."

A line is formed to let people get in turn getting in the portal and immediately gets out. After that, they will check their status and either be excited or disappointed on their stat.

Discussion about what they're going to do with their newfound power, a few theory on what caused this and the purpose of this portal could be heard around the dining hall.

I don't know how to feel about this.

I get near the portal and was immediately stopped by 2 guys acting like a bodyguard.

"Dude get in line"

"Yo! No cutting!"

"Fam c'mon get on the line"

... Yea.

"I was just trying to look at the timer on the portal, it had one right?"

"What about it?"

"Just looking"

"... Aight"

They open the path for me but one guy is still standing beside the portal so I didn't rush in. I don't why they're doing this, it's not like their losing money or anything.

I rolled my eyes towards said guy and look for the timer.

Just like the internet said, it float on the side like a hologram, showing the numbers

4 minutes left?! Damn it!

"We should get out of here"

"Why?"

What do you mean why?!

"Monsters is going to flood out of the portal once the timer runs off, we really need to run away now!"

"For real? How did you know that?"

... Forget it, this is the people that decided to line up to enter an unknown portal. I should warn everyone instead.

"Guys! The monsters is going to get out of the portal soon! Get out of here!"

For a moment, nobody made a move or straight up ignoring me, especially those in line. However, Some people in the crowd immediately gets out of the dining hall.

Fine, it's natural selection at this point. I need to get out of here too!

As I'm making my way to the exit, someone suddenly talked to me.

"How did you know?"

A familiar voice appeared on my side as I'm walking.
