I lifted the panicking treecat and patted its tail to put out the flames. It was a bit singed, but not too bad.
"Meow (Translation: I'm this close to reporting you to animal rights groups!)"
"Hey, you're already black, so it's not that noticeable. Don't worry."
"Meow (Translation: That's *not* the issue! Honestly, Akaya-kun, you really don't get cats. You should learn to understand me better.)"
"More importantly... I just breathed fire."
