In the private Hero High School, where young talents of dungeon explorers gather, Makoto Akaya enrolls, believing in his own abilities. However, upon discovering the gap between himself and his classmates, he realizes that he is the biggest failure in the school. Nevertheless, in the midst of despair, he encounters a skill tree that only he can use, and Makoto Akaya's life begins to change for the better.

From that day on, I began testing the effects of my new skill, Shape Without Limits.
I headed to the training area in the First Training Hall, lining up my usual steel materials.
"Activate, Shape Without Limits!"
Touching the steel with just a light tap, the skill took effect. I gave it a gentle slap, and the steel softened, shifting easily like clay. Then, with a mental command, I switched it back. Harden.
The steel I'd spread out with my hand set in place, turning into an ugly, twisted shape that looked like a warped shrimp cracker.
In essence, it's a lot like the separate skills Soften and Harden. But this fused skill seemed to have taken on the best of both.
As I continued my testing, I discovered some differences.
