Over-Compensation

After discovering the potential of the "Warm Up" skill, I spent all my available MP today honing my skills. By the time I trudged back to my dorm room, exhausted, the Tree Cat was waiting for me. Its fickle nature meant it appeared and disappeared at will, so I didn't think much of it anymore. However, I couldn't help but notice it had been bathing in the sink.

"You actually take baths?" I asked.

"Meow (Translation: I'm a clean cat, obviously)," the Tree Cat replied, hopping out of the sink and padding over to a towel with its front paws.

I picked up the towel and began to dry it off. The Tree Cat, ever so well-behaved, didn't make a fuss or try to squirm away.

"Meow (Translation: By the way, Akatani-kun, haven't you used a 'Skill Seed' yet?)"

"A Skill Seed…?"

"Meow meow (Translation: Did you forget? It's the thing that lets you modify skills.)"
