Chapter -1: The Pilot

???: in the current year there was a rising card game and this card game was apperantly called "Duel Cards Magic & Monsters" it was unique and fun and it was tachtich based and many people from around the globe enjoyed it

Toshiro:But grandpa why are you telling me something that i already know?

Grandpa Tadaki: Well i was wanted to play a card game with my little grandson ovbiously

Toshiro:Ok grandpa! Lets have one round and then ill sleep!

Grandpa Tadaki:Oh right! Thats the spirit! but now lemme open my collection book

Toshiro:Sure grandpa!

#G.Tadaki opens a book full of cards and gives himself and little Toshiro a deck as well to play#

Grandpa Tadaki: Well now ill explain the game if you may not remember it

Toshiro:But grandpa i remember all the ru-

Grandpa Tadaki: İ know İ know my little genious grandson but let grandpa have some words as well

Toshiro: ok grandpa

Grandpa Tadaki: Ok the rules are pretty simple but i should talk about the card types first... Well to start of we have the "Monsters" which you can call upon and summon them in the battle field and some how abilitys and some are even used for using other sphechific cards in combination and then we have the "Magic Spells" which are one of the most usefull tools to victory my grandson! They are all unique and are used in diffrent scenarios and accesions and if you play your spell cards good you can be the victor in seconds!

Toshiro: Hey grandpa dont forget about the rules!

Grandpa Tadaki: Oh yes the rules... First we have the "Gold" and the "Platinum" playstyles their rules are a bit diffrent from each other

Toshiro: Gold? Platinum? Grandpa i have never Heard of those "Playstyles"

Grandpa Tadaki: Oh yes my grandson let me explain the playstyles...

First you have the "Gold" Playstyle which is the rules that were said by the OG creator of the games that sadly passed away in a young age but his brother picked up his deceased brothers card game and made it globaly known and the "Gold" style is basically creditting his old brother as best he can

Toshiro: So how do you play this "Gold" style grandpa?

Grandpa Tadaki: Oh its pretty simple my grandson the rules are very simple but let me explain the "Golden" playstyle

1st rule : There can be 4 Monsters and 4 Magic spells on the field

2ns rule: You cant draw a card unless you have no Monsters in your hand

3rd rule: You cannot activate a spell if you do not have it on the field or but you can use it from your hand on your own turn or you can use it from the Graveyard

And there is the 4th and the final rule...

Toshiro: Yeah what is it gramps?!

Grandpa Tadaki: Well its the rule of merging where you have to sacrefice 2 cards to merge em together but... İf you try to merge a Monster card and a spell card you would need to pay the ultimate price of sacreficeng 2 Monsters and 1 Magic card to summon it

Toshiro: Those are some intresting rules grandpa

Geandpa Tadaki: And then thereeis the currently most used playstyle And that being the "Platinum" PStyle which is honestly more basic but lets start of with the first rule

1St rule: Every player draws a card in the start of the turn and they cannot draw a card in the first round

2nd rule: No player cannot attack each other in the first round

And every time both of the players turns are finished that counts as a round 2 turns = 1 round

3rd rule:There can be only 5 monsters and 5 spells on the Battlefield

4th ru-

Toshiro: But wait grandpa do you still need to have a spell card on the field to use it?

Grandpa Tadaki: No my grandson' But now if you will excuse me i will tell the other rules as well

Mhm!

4th rule : Just enjoy the game

Toshiro: The last rules a pretty nice one grandpa

Grandpa Tadaki: Oh i know grandson

Toshiro: But Grandpa... İ have a question

Grandpa Tadaki: Sure go ahead tell me what you need to ask

Toshiro: How much cards do we draw to start with?

Grandpa Tadaki: Well it is some times inconsistant but its usually 4 or 5

Toshiro: Ok then after all that explaining lets start grandpa!

Grandpa tadaki: Thats the spirit Toshiro! But now which "Deck" do you want to use?

Toshiro: İs there a magician based deck?

Grandpa Tadaki: There is one and its called The "Dark Arts" deck

Toshiro: Oh wow! Seems really intreging

Grandpa Tadaki: Well i personally do not use it but here ya go little pall!

Grandpa Tadaki: Oh by the way ill be using the "Knights Honour" Deck' is that ok to you Toshiro?

Toshiro:Ok then grandpa!

Toshiro & Tadaki : Ok then let.. the.. duel.. Begin!
