A vein bulged on the demon's temples as it clenched its fists, teeth grinding. Seung stood tall, boldly facing the consequences of his confrontation. It hit him then—why he had hesitated, why he felt remorse earlier when he was about to throw his dagger at the demon. This was the reason. The reason he felt like a mindless murderer.
The demon growled, "You… what did you just say?!" It jabbed a finger toward Seung, causing his heart to skip a beat. But something else was about to unfold.
