Sevir said, “I tracked him down. I am going to pin him and question. Make sure to speak softly. We have to act like he is having hallucinations at first.”
“What is hallucinations?”
“Seeing and hearing things that do not exist.”
“Like illusions?”
“Something like that.” Sevir shrugged, pocketed the crystal and jumped in through the window. The house was a standard house with a standard layout of narrow space, shoe space, living room, kitchen, dining table, and some inner rooms.
His target was standing by the window on the other side of him. Sevir paused.
The man didn’t look like he had been begging a few days ago. Sevir hurriedly pinned him to the floor.
