Vegeta's Training

The next morning after Goku's departure, both Goten and Trunks stand in the middle of a field infront of Vegeta, wearing Saiyan armor made by Bulma. Goten throws multiple strikes with great speed.

"This armor doesn't just looks cool, it's pretty light." Goten says with a smile

Trunks let's out a yawn.

"Why did dad have to start so early though?" Trunks says.

Goten smiles.

"Piccolo started training early too. Maybe it's an Saiyan and Namekian thing." Goten says.

Meanwhile Gohan, Piccolo, Krillin, Chichi, Bulma, and Bulla watch from the sidelines.

"Vegeta! Don't hurt our boy, ok!?" Bulma yells.

"Becareful with my Goten!" Chichi yells.

"You don't think dad's gonna hurt them, right?" Bulla asks.

Gohan stays silent for a moment, trying to answer the question the right way.

"Well- uh..." Gohan stutters.

"Yes." Piccolo says without hesitation.

"That goes without saying." Krillin adds.

Those two responses worries Bulla as Gohan nervously laughs. Vegeta smirks, preparing himself to start his training with Goten and Trunks.

"Prepare yourselves!" Vegeta says.

Both Goten and Trunks take a fighting stance, getting ready for the Saiyan Prince. Vegeta then starts to charge up his energy,surprising the boys. The ground starts to shake, lightning and yellow aura starts to surround Vegeta's body, and his eyes turn light green. He then let's out a loud roar and goes a level beyond Super Saiyan, just like Gohan did years ago against Cell.

"He's going all out from the start?" Krillin asks.

"Guess he doesn't want to waste any time. Isn't that the transformation you used to beat Cell, Gohan?" Piccolo asks.

Gohan smirks.

"Yeah. It's no surprise Vegeta was able to achieve Super Saiyan two. I'm pretty sure dad probably can achieve it too." Gohan says.

Both Goten and Trunks understands the seriousness of the situation.

"I guess he's really not holding back. We gotta stay on our guard." Goten says.

"Right. If we loose focus for a moment, we'll be in trouble." Trunks says.

Meanwhile, Goten just smiles, as sweat drips down his forehead. Vegeta sees this and in a blink of an eye appears infront of Goten without him even noticing.

"What's with that smile, boy?" Vegeta asks.

Goten and Trunks eyes widen, not even seeing Vegeta move. Goten tries to jump back to gain distance, but as soon as his feet leaves the ground, Vegeta throws a powerful punch. Goten is able to block but is still sent flying into rocks. Trunks hesitates for a second, then goes for an attack, but gets elbowed in the stomach, dropping him to a knee. Vegeta smirks, like the old Prince when he first arrived to earth.

"What's the matter, Trunks? Was that little hit all it took? And you call yourself my son." Vegeta says.

This angers Trunks when he hears this. Meanwhile Bulma gets upset.

"I told Vegeta not to be so rough with the boys. What is he doing?" Bulma asks as her and Chichi worry about their boys.

Meanwhile Gohan, Krillin, Piccolo, and Bulla stay silent while watching, waiting to see how this all plays out, with Bulla silently worried.

Trunks slowly gets back to his feet, leaping up and throwing a punch. Vegeta sidesteps the punch, grabs Trunks by the face and slams the back of his head into the ground. While he has Trunks pinned down, Goten rushes at Vegeta with great speed, while the prince just smirks. Goten throws a punch, but Vegeta sidesteps and knees him in the gut and knocking him to the ground.

"It's probably best that your father isn't here anymore. I wonder how disappointed he'd be."

Goten forces himself back to his feet, gritting his teeth at the comment Vegeta made. At that moment, Trunks comes up from behind and throws a punch, but Vegeta dodges the attack. Goten then jumps up with a kick, again missing Vegeta. The two boys then start throwing fast paced strikes at Vegeta, unable to land a single strike. He then catches Gotens fist and slams him into Trunks and into the ground.

Chichi then gets up and has to be held back by Krillin.

"Let me go, Krillin! That Vegeta is going too far! I'm going to give him a taste of his own medicine!" Chichi yells.

"What the heck is his problem? He's taking this way too far!" Bulma says.

"I understand, believe me, but you have to trust in Vegeta's process. It's hard, but the boys need this. This is the path they've chosen, just like we did... Trust me, you're not the only one's having a hard time watching this." Krillin says.

Chichi and Bulma then looks over and sees Gohan, clenching his fists tightly, crushing his glasses his hands and Bulla visibly worried about the two boys.

"You know they need this. We don't know when another threat like Cell may come. Those two need to be ready." Piccolo says.

Gohan stays silent for a moment.

"I know. You're right."

Both Goten and Trunks slowly get back to their feet, barely able to hold their balance.

"Hey...Trunks- can you still fight?" Goten asks.

Trunks smirks.

"Of course I can. We're not quitting until we land, at least one hit on my dad."

Goten smiles

"Deal." He says.

They then power up and charge at Vegeta again. Vegeta lands punches in both their faces and grabs them by the shirt, lifting them in the air.

"What the hell is wrong with you two!? You call yourself Saiyan's!? How pathetic!"

As Vegeta yells in the boys faces, they get angry.

"What if a threat comes here?! How do you expect to stop them with the pathetic strength you've shown today?!"

Both Goten and Trunks clenches their fists.

"What? Are you feeling angry? The only ones you should be angry at is yourself. Everyone you two love will be dead, because you couldn't muster up the strength to protect them!"

At that moment, both Gotens and Trunks eyes turn bright green, their energy pushes Vegeta back. The two young Saiyan's are then surrounded by yellow aura, causing Vegeta to smile.

"It's about time."

As the ground starts to shake, both Goten and Trunks energy starts rise. They both then transform into Super Saiyan's.

"So Vegeta was trying to push them into transforming into Super Saiyan's." Piccolo says.

"Yeah, it takes pure, raw emotion in order to become a Super Saiyan. Trunks and Goten were motivated by not being strong enough for Vegeta's standards or to protect others." Gohan says.

Bulla breathes out of relief.

"Thank goodness." She says.

Chichi then starts crying.

"My other baby boy is a delinquent!" She says.

Goten cracks his knuckles.

"Let's try this again."

Trunks nods.

"Alright."

Both Goten and Trunks charges at Vegeta again with even greater speed. They throw multiple strikes at the Prince, but Vegeta has some trouble dodging and blocking. At that moment, Trunks ducks down and sweeps Vegeta's legs from under him, knocking him off balance. Goten then follows up and punches the prince across the face, knocking him to the ground.

Both Trunks and Goten share a fist bump with a smile. Vegeta smirks, getting back to his feet, and wiping blood from his mouth.

"Good. I don't want either of you to forget this sensation. Use it to grow even stronger than you are now. No matter what, there will always be someone out there stronger than your last opponent. You can't stay at the same level, understand?" Vegeta says.

"Right!" Both Goten and Trunks say.

With one more smirk, Vegeta soon dashes at the boys, giving them both hard punches to the stomach, knocking them out of Super Saiyan.

"Remember this pain as well. And let it activate you." Vegeta says as they both drop to the ground.

Vegeta drops down to his base form and picks the boys up and flies over to the others. Both Bulma and Chichi take their sons from out of Vegeta's arms.

"Oh my sweet boy." Chichi says.

She then notices the smile on the unconscious boys face, remembering Goku and smiling herself. At that moment, both Bulma and Chichi hit Vegeta in the arm.

"You were too rough on them, Vegeta!" They say.

Vegeta gets upset by this.

"Hey, I told both of you that I wouldn't be taking it easy on them and to stay home if you couldn't handle it! This is how we Saiyan's are, you both should know that by now." Vegeta says.

Bulma sighs.

"Can't believe I let you corrupt our son. You lucky I love you." Bulma says.

Vegeta blushes, gritting his teeth. Bulla chuckles, then looks over and notices how cute Goten looks while he sleeps.

Meanwhile, in an unknown sub lab, owned by Dr. Gero, a super computer suddenly comes on.

"Son Goku, sighted. Androids 17 and 18 have failed. Project Cell has been destroyed before it could reach full growth. Now, activating failsafe." The Computer says.

The super computer then uses all data, taken from secret hidden cameras that have been watching the Z fighters all this time, going all the way back to when Gohan beat Cell. The computer even made the realization that the Cell that fought Gohan was from another time-line. Soon the computer finishes creating a Super Android, one more powerful than any that came before him. When the pod door opens, out steps Android 13, who has white, long hair and a black suit and tie.

"Think it's time to stretch my legs."
