I'm here

A knock came through the chief's door, and walked in two police officers. "Chief-" He didn't even finish his word, and saw An Le sitting there.

He wasn't sure if he should keep talking, and An Le knows why they came. She stood up, and face the chief. "I'm afraid that they are looking for me." An Le smiles at them , and tilt her head slightly.

"Did something happen?" the chief asks as he looks at the two officers, and back at An Le.

"Nothing chief, we'll head back right now," as one of the officers saw An Le's eyes and got scared.

"Before I came in, these two officers stopped me. But I didn't follow the orders, and just came in. So I admit that they must be looking for me. Am I right?" An Le looks at the officers after saying it.

The chief looks at the officers. "Is that true from what she said?"

The officers nodded.

"Don't let that happen again." The chief said. "Yes sir." Both officers responded.

"Before you go, let me introduce you to our new medical examiner, An Le."

Both officers look at An Le, and said "hi Dr. An."

An Le kept her smile on her face. "Zhang Li and Wong Yi Fan. I'll remember." After saying it, An Le sat back down. The chief saw their face shaking, and break the silence. "Don't scare them. They're still kids. You guys may go out now." The two officers scurries off after hearing the chief's words.

"They're new?" as An Le speaks up.

"They just got transfer here last week after graduating." The chief looks at her as she spaces off. "So, where are you gonna settle down?" An Le heard his question, and knows what he meant. An Le checks the time, and saw that it's 12. "I gotta go now. I'll make sure to come on time tomorrow morning to report." An Le grabs her bag, luggage, and headed out the door.

"Wait. I forgot to tell you that you'll have a partner." The chief words made An Le turned around.

"What partner?"

"While you were away for these pass five years, we got a new medical examiner. You will be working under him." The chief words made An Le closes the door, and walks back in the room.

"I'll be an assistant?" as An Le can't accept this fact.

"Since you just came back, I just want you to get use to back with the working. So, for now you will be working under him until further notice."

An Le looks at the chief. "Why didn't you say earlier?" She pause for a moment, and speaks up again. "Fine. I'll work under him, but...." She put her hands out in front of him.

"What?" as the chief asks her.

"Didn't you asked me before where I'll settle down. I'll tell you now." An Le looks at her again, and her eyes looking down at her hand as she's waiting.

"No one is here Uncle Song," as An Le said.

Song Yi, the chief is An Le's mother's friend. And since the death of her mother, Song Yi has been taking care of her.

"Here it is. The house is clean, and has everything you'll need." Song Yi handed her the keys that her mother left for her. This was the key that she handed to Song Yi five years before also. She looks down at the key, and smiled. "Well, thanks. This time I really gotta go. I'll catch up with you later."

An Le left the station, and took out her phone.

"Your still in the station?"

"No, I'm behind you."

She turned around and saw her brother standing there.

"Didn't I already told you. You definitely had sense it that I needed you. Right?" An Le looks at her brother smiling.

"Stop being so self-loved. I came out cuz it's lunch time."

"An Rong! Is that how you talk to your sister?" as An Le drags his ear.

"Hurt hurt!" as An Rong yelled.

An Le lets go of it. "Let's go. I'm so hungry." She left the luggage with him, and started walking. "An Le, don't think you're older just by that few minute that I won't do anything to you." An Le turns around looking at him. "Are you going or not? Or do you want to pay for today's meal?" An Rong's eyes brighten. "Your treating me?"

"One more nonsense talking. It'll be you."

An Rong quickly drags the luggage, and headed to his car.

They went to a near by Japanese restaurant to eat.

"So, who's your fiancee." An Le asks and looked at him.

"You know her," An Rong said while eating his food. "I know her?" An Le thought about it, then a light bulb shines. "It's Li Qi?" An Rong nodded. "When did you guys get together? I don't remember you like talking to her. And every time she would come bother you, you would always ask me to help you. So, tell me what happen?" An Le gazes at him, and An Rong has no choice, but to stop eating.

......twenty minutes

"Wow. Can't believe you use this trick. You even lied to me, and I didn't even know." An Le saw him eating, so fast like it's the end of the word. "No one is fighting with you. Eat slowly."

"I guess you still haven't know yet." An Rong said as he almost chocked on his food. An Le pours him water, and told him to eat slowly. An Le saw him calm down, and asked him what happened.

"After you left, the station came a new medical examiner."

"The chief told me that already. But what about it?" as An Le doesn't understand.

"Well, you must've not know who this person is. It's Song Zi Han."

"Song Zi Han?" An Le thought about it for a sec. "Song Zi Han? As in Uncle's Song's son? That Song Zi Han?"

An Rong nods his head.

"But didn't he went out of the country? I heard that he went to America to study." An Le couldn't believe what she just heard.

"Well, he came back. And now a medical examiner. So, sis you gotta be careful cuz he's not the Song Zi Han we know when we're a kid." An Rong warns her.

"Who am I? I'm An Le. Okay. We will see who should be careful of who."
