Hi everyone, It's Author Trueno here.

It seems I will have to pause writing this book for a while again.

Due to some personal life problems, I am a little upset lately.

Many things happened, and I too realized many things. The events that happened made me slack off too much in writing and lose motivation. And I also fear that my talent in writing is not enough to satisfy my readers' expectations.

You know, my initial plan is to write a not-braindead novel where everyone uses their brain. So, I created an MC like Xie Yue. His character spanned from evil to hypocrisy. He was an old man who was hyper-cautious, observant, and shrewd.

While I did so, I also didn't think too much and chose Douluo Continent as his base, which resulted in me thinking too much for twist-filled plots and feeling helpless.

Where can I go for twist and wisdom-showcasing plots?

And it seems I also overestimated my own capabilities. But I also know it is nothing to worry about - at least for now. I am still relatively young and need time to gain much experience.

Just because I want to write an intelligent and cunning MC, I can't do that just with my imagination, right?

I am also having studies problems. It's been a while since I dropped my studies, nearly four years. During these four years, my personality also changed, and I became a social introvert. But in the end, it still ended up with me requiring to continue the studies. So, I am a little busy with that.

Additionally, I've been pondering the nature of fanfiction. While I'm passionate about this story, I'm also drawn to the idea of creating an original novel that I can truly call my own. In this new project, I plan to tone down the complexity and focus on a more relatable, average protagonist with average wisdom and intelligence like me. Not going to overestimate myself anymore.

This novel will be like any other normal-average novel. There will be many holes too. Maybe it will also require readers to shut their brain before deciding to read the book - #Wisdom reduction. Haha.

Not sure. But at least it will be readable. After all, my own personality can't be changed. Even if I wanted to write a relatively easy novel, I will inadvertently try to put some effort into it and try to write something incredible in-between.

But in the end, everything depends on what will happen in the future. I am not going to guarantee that I will finish this new novel to the end. After all, my personal life is still there; writing a novel is not my profession. It is only for satisfaction.

Hmm... That's all. Douluo Fic will be in pause for a while. Extremely sorry for that ⊙⁠﹏⁠⊙.

That is what I wanted to convey in this message. Please understand that life's challenges can sometimes interfere with our creative pursuits.
