With a loud banging sound from their collision, they took a few steps back from the force of their collision alone.

"Thou is not bad in strength." Yin Jinyun smiled when she felt the force that Xu Shuang hammered her with.

"Come! Another one!" She then yelled as she turned into a silver blur and then swung her right claw into Xu Shuang

Xu Shuang ducked to avoid the claw and with the help of the centrifugal force from a spin smashed her hammer on the elbow of the dragon.

She smiled in satisfaction when she saw that her attack had connected but Xu Shuang was quickly swatted down by a silver whip which turned out to be Yin Jinyun's tail.

Xu Shuang quickly rolled to the side after she was swatted down, dodging another claw from the dragon.

Then with a quick flash step she quickly distanced herself from the enemy dragon, but, she was surprised to see the dragon also appear beside her.

Although the flash step was fast it is not true teleportation, it's just a fast movement that made it seem like she was teleporting.

"Thou didn't expect this right?" Yin Jinyun smiled as she slashed with her claws again to send Xu Shuang flying with scratches all over her body.

And from this moment on this battle turned into a Dragon Ball Style beatdown with Xu Shuang being absolutely trashed by Yin Jinyun.

'Shit! Yin Jinyun outclasses me in every single way possible, in strength, speed, agility, and defense, she's higher than me in every aspect!' Xu Shuang panicked internally.

Boom!

With one blow sending her a bit further away, she took this moment to stabilize herself mid-air as she swung her hammer onto Yin Jinyun's claws.

Then with the force of the collision, she turned in the air and swung her hammer once again onto the dragon claw, with her strength being a bit stronger than before.

Xu Shuang used the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer to stack the force of each hammer on top of another.

Yin Jinyun didn't seem to notice as she kept laughing repeatedly clashing with Xu Shuang in the air.

But, when they collided for the 30th time, Yin Jinyun noticed something wrong, as before she was still above Xu Shuang in strength regarding when they clashed.

And when it reached the 60th time they collided Xu Shuang already overpowered her in regards to strength!

Yin Jinyun took a moment to retreat first when she was overpowered and she went through the whole course of the fight, then she noticed when it started to go wrong.

She then found out that since the start of the next round of collision, Xu Shuang's strength kept growing with every collision of their attacks.

Once she figured out the secret to the sudden increase in Xu Shuang's strength she laughed loudly as she praised Xu Shuang.

"What a great technique! It actually leverages the dying power of the previous strikes and adds it to the next strike!"

"With this technique, it's like facing the ocean with each wave of water stronger than before, and each retreat only serves to strengthen the next attack."

Knowing the secret to Xu Shuang's sudden increase in strength, Yin Jinyun didn't give her the opportunity to stack up the Disorder Splitting Wind Hammer.

Thus, a new round of beating started, to Xu Shuang's unbeknownst above her dantian is a seed that is slowly pulsing as the beating goes on.

Xu Shuang spat out blood as she tried to get up, but failed to do so. Yin Jinyun smiled as she laid back to her previous spot while saying.

"Although thou has decent strength, thou's strength is still nowhere close to thee." After saying that she closed her eyes and soon after started to sleep on the spot.

The door then opened as Ye Lingling rushed out of the door with a worried face and immediately carried Xu Shuang inside the room and rested her in the infirmary room.

And without saying any words, Ye Lingling quickly got into action and stripped Xu Shuang of her clothes and started to clean her wounds.

"Hiss. Lingling, gently, okay?" Xu Shuang took a deep breath when the alcohol touched her wound.

"Just lay there and take it alright? You look so tough when you accepted the beating earlier, where's your toughness now?" Ye Lingling tries to say it in a sarcastic voice, but at the end of her sentence her voice cracked up.

"Xu Shuang, why don't we just give up this trial? I can't bear to see you get so beat up again, look at your current state, when have you been so beaten in your life?"

"So, Please, let's just give up on this trial, I'll also give up my trial with you, even if it means losing the reward I just got." Ye Lingling begged while holding Xu Shuang's hand as she shed a few tears.

Xu Shuang didn't talk as she silently held Ye Lingling's hand while Ye Lingling sobbed on her shoulder, after a few minutes she slowly said.

"I'm sorry, Lingling, but I can't stop fighting this trial, the trial ain't over until I win."

Ye Lingling stopped sobbing for a moment, before she just nodded and then hugged Xu Shuang as she knew that no matter what she says, Xu Shuang will still choose to do the trial to the end.

They stayed like that for a while, then Ye Lingling stood up and continued to bandage Xu Shuang and then summoned her martial spirit to heal her injuries.

After doing all of this, Ye Lingling went out of the room saying that she'll cook some nutritious porridge for Xu Shuang to warm her stomach.

While Ye Lingling was in the kitchen cooking, Xu Shuang laid on the bed as she thought of the scenes in the fight.

' I really need to find a solution to solve the problem regarding the gap between me and Yin Jinyun or else I will never be able to complete this trial.'

'Sam, do you have any suggestions?'

'What do you mean by that?' Xu Shuang asked even though she seem to have a feel for the answer to her question.

Xu Shuang didn't understand why Sam was talking in such a riddle like manner, but no matter how she asked afterwards, Sam just didn't answer.
